Syncing my ipod to other itune user accounts

I'm wondering, how can I get music from another itunes account without collecting all of that persons music and without losing all of mine?

You'd have manage content manually on your iPod to do this. This would mean that you would have to drag and drop all of your music/video to your iPod instead of it automatically syncing. See this article http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=61148

As I've already said to get this far: I have lost a lot of tracks while syncing my iPod Touch with iTunes. I have managed to get free downloads of some of the single tracks, but when I try to download entire albums the system informs me that I have already purchased them and a pop-up window informs me I can get them back from my "Purchased" file. I would not be trying to dowload them again if they were anywhere on the iPod, would I? The other problem seems to be that with single tracks I don't know before I hit the purchase button if I have picked it from the right album and I have had to pay for it again.
I feel that I have been totally ripped off by iTunes and, apart from ranting on this forum, I don't seem to be able to let my feelings known. It's like a guy from my local record store coming round and nicking my albums and telling me that it's tough!
The point here is folks, that it was syncing two Apple sites which caused the loss of these tracks and from what I've read elsewhere this is a regular fault. And please don't tell me that it's my fault for having a pc. Apple shouldn't sell a product for pc, when it doesn't work on pc!

- Are you saying that they are not listed in your Purchased section?
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
- Are they listed in your Puchases history when you log into your account on your computer?
- Are they still available now for purchase? If not then you are out of luck

It keeps on saying "This ipod is synced with another iTunes library. An iPOd can be synced with only one iTunes library at a time." Is all the content from your iTunes library on the old Dell laptop now on your MacBook air? If you copied the entire iTunes folder and copied it over the existing iTunes folder, your iPod will still think it is being synced to the same iTunes library and there would be no need to do an erase and sync.

A while back the songs on my itunes (laptop) just disappeared, but the songs are still on my ipod nano. Since this happend I purchased some songs which are now on my itunes/laptop, but NOT on my ipod.
I want to sync my iPod with my itunes account on my laptop (i.e. all songs on ipod are on itunes and vice-versa), however I know someone who attended a simular sync. and the accidently wiped-out all of their songs.
Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar

If you connect your ipod to your computer then look in the hidden folder labeled "iPod_Control" . (This is on a Mac version, but i think it's the same for Windows) and in "Music" is all your music mixed up in different folders. Just drag the MUSIC folder onto itunes then BAM! It's done ;D

I'm having sync issues too since I've updated to 11.0.4. My ipod 160 will no longer sync properly or will hang when attempting to sync yet my 4th gen touch doesn't have any problems. I am thinking about uninstalling it and rolling back to an older version of itunes.
