Syncing my old backup from iPad 2 is not working!!! ??

I just got my new iPad. I excitedly backed up my iPad 2 and plugged in the new iPad. I selected "restore from backup" it did its thing, the iPad rebooted, all going as normal.
EXCEPT then the iPad rebooted, and itunes didn't go through its thing of copying the applications over.
I looked on the iPad and it looks like apps starting in AA-AI were copied (I have over 400 apps on my iPad 2).
I tried restoring from backup again and it was the same exact thing. Please help!!!

There's a glitch with the upgrade that causes this.
Different things work for different folks:
Try making a new event on your PC and syncing your iPad and see if the + comes back.
Try resetting your device by holding down the sleep and home key until you see the silver apple and it reboots.
If you have iCloud syncing turned on for the calendar, turn it off and then back on.
Any one or any combo could clear it up.

Old videos from Power PC not working in OSX

I have old videos (converted from a camcorder to digital) that worked on a Power PC but no longer work in OSX.
The files are still intact, or at least are as large as they were, but do not seem to contain a file format. "Get Info" says they are a document (many GBs in size).
These were originally videos that I took on a camcorder and had then streamed onto an old Power Mac G5 to get them off of tape and onto a hard drive. They worked just fine on the old G5 and I could watch them with no problem. Fast forward through a move and I had backed that old G5 on to first a 500gb brick then on to a drobo and everything seemed just fine.
I moved and got rid of the old G5 after making sure I had all the old files. I went to play them recently on a new Mac Mini and they simply do not work. As I note above, they seem to have had their format removed.
Any help GREATLY appreciated.

I have solved the problem! I used Mediainfo and determined they were .dv files (not a format I was ever familiar with!) which of course just stands for digital video.
I renamed them with .dv and quicktime recognized them.

Emailing photos from IPad 2 not working.

I know how to email photos from the IPad 2, but it is not working on my new replacement. Does anyone have an idea of what could be wrong?

Assuming that your email is working fine other wise ..... I have no idea as to why it isn't working, but have you tried any basic troubleshooting steps to try to correct it?
Quit the photos and mail apps and restart the iPad.
In order to quit or close apps - Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button. The task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. If you are using multitasking gestures in iOS 5 - you can swipe up from the bottom of the screen to reveal the task bar. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Try a reset.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Old animation from preview 7 not working well in Animate 1.0

I started doing this animation on preview 7 and finished it on animate 1.0 and it was working right before and looks right in browsers but not on iphone/ipad where I want it to work. You can check chrome first so you see how I want it to work on iphone/ipad.

The problem I have seen on iphone is that the girl jumps fast instead of normal walk a little bit when she comes in from left to right and also she appears on the end frame before the animation starts. You can ignore the boy as he is not animated.

By the way, I noticed something to let webutil to work I think I can't sign the frmwebutil.jar & Jacob.jar under Dos because of Jarsigner and I get this info: 'jarsigner' is not recognized as an internal or external command,operable program or batch file.

You have to back them up to a computer. You would import them either to iPhoto or to the Photos app in your PC:

How do I remove old backups from my iPhone?

I have a fairly full iPhone 5. When I look at my iTunes Wi-Fi Sync, it shows backups from 2 old computers that I no longer use. I need only one of the three backup files my phone is holding. Note: I am not asking how to go into iTunes and delete old backups. I need to delete them from the actual phone.

The three backups I refer to in my original question are listed in Wi-Fi Sync as backups that are waiting to complete. The list is 3 computers my iPhone has been used with. I no longer use 2 of these computers, so I no longer need these backups. They are ONLY listed on my phone not in iTunes so I cannot delete them in iTunes. They are on my phone as backups that are waiting for me to reconnect to those computers to complete.

What kind of photos are you talking about?
Ones in the iPod's Camera Roll album are included in the iPod backup that iTunes makes. Photos synced to the iPod or not and they are not in your iTunes library either. You have to back those up separately.
Also the iPod backup that iTunes makes is not included in your iTunes library. It location is listed here:

I can't delete an old backup from my iCloud

Hi, I'm trying to turn off and delete an old backup from my iCloud, but I received an error message "Cannot Delete Backup - this backup cannot be deleted beacaus it is in use". I don't know how I can delete this old backup. Does anyone help me?

I just sold my iPad on eBay and will get the iPad mini Retina, so in the meantime I'm borrowing my brother's iPad.
I backed up my iPad, and restored it to my brother's one, and now I'm trying to delete the old backup, but I get this exact same message, and it's been about 9 hours since I did the restore.
To make matters worse, my 10GB subscription ends tomorrow, and I don't need any more than 5GB, and now I'm over the limit when I could delete this 1GB backup and not have to worry about the subscription ending.
