Syncing on't override the device
I'm noticing that I can put things on my 8310, but not take them off. For instance, if I generate an empty address book on my laptop (running leopard) and select override device in the syncing options for the address book, nothing changes on the bb. Also, I put mobipocket on my bb and after realizing that I couldn't sync documents to the bb I used the uninstall option in the SyncManager. The program is still on the bb and seems functional, but I no longer have the ability to uninstall it through the SyncManager. Also, whenever I try the reset commands in SyncManager nothing happens on the bb.
Any suggestions? At this point I'm not sure I want to invest $$ into another piece of software that may or may not work.

Try resetting it by holding the power and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then releasing. You won't lose any data by doing this.

If everything is working correctly, you should be able to plug the iPhone in at any time. Before or after opening iTunes.

Hi! I have an iPhone 4S with iOS 6.1.3 and I have iTunes 11.1.3.8. on my Windows 8. Now I can't sync my iPhone, because the device is not recognised by iTunes. Somebody have any idea why, or what can I do (except refresh the iPhone software) ?

Would you know whether there is an incompatibility between iPad2 and outlook 2010 calendar? I can sync outlook appointmens down to the device but not up to the computer calendar. The same occurs with my iPhone 4, can sync appointments down to the device, but not back up to the computer. Any help appreciated!Most computer's USB ports do not have enough power to charge iPads while they are active. An iPad will charge while in sleep mode, but very slowly.

Do you have the absolute latest version of iTunes downloaded? If your iTunes software has not been updated in some time, your iPad will not be recognized. With iTunes open, click on Store at the top. Check for available downloads and if there are any, download them. Once you've verified you have the latest software, connect your device again, and it should be recognized.

I have had several computers in recent years and when i try to sync my iphone and ipad to my new computer, it says it cant because the devices are registered on too many computers. I only need them synced up to two computers - how do i fix this?
In iTunes, under the "Store" menu, you can select "Deauthorize this computer". That will remove that computer from your iTunes account and free up a spot for the new computer.
If you have already sold or wiped your previous computers, you can log into your iTunes account from the Store menu in iTunes by selecting "View My Account xxxx@xxxx". Once you are logged in, about 1/4 the way down the page it will tell you that you have "xx computers are authorized......". Beside that you have the option to deauthorize all of the connected devices. That is the only option, you will have to deauthorize all and then set up the ones you want to use.
I think 10 is the maximum number of devices that can sync to one iTunes account. -

Thank you for your question. I understand that both of the devices are not syncing to match. Can you please check the following:
*Are they on the same version of sync? (Android account should not list Firefox Sync (deprecated))
*Are the managed items checked to be synced in the sync options?

I created a Sync account before but uninstalled it without saving the code. But now installed it again and having trouble finding my account code to setup my Sync. Is there a way to retrieve my Sync code without creating another account?

Movie videos are not syncing properly from iTunes to the ipad
Yes, I have checked off each of the 4 movies and did not click on the "manually manage videos & photos". At one point I even scratch the entire ipad and started it as "new", and added everything back on ....... they did display at first (the 4 movies), but the next time I synced, it went back to the over movies and the 4 movies disappeared .......

i have recently purchased an ipod touch 5th generation ipod for my girlfriends daughters! im trying to sync some music onto the device but it is not been recognized on itunes. i have the device plugged in but i cant find the device on itunes!
