Syncing Outlook 2010 Calendar with iPhone 4

I'm trying to sync my calendar in outlook with the phone.
When I go into Itunes > the "Info" tab for my phone and checkmark Sync Calendar with Outlook and hit apply I get a pop up that says
" Are you sure you want to remove 53 apps, inlcuding....from the iPhone? This will delete these apps and their data from the iPhone"y
Obviously I don't want to delete the apps or have to re-install them. Is there something I'm missing? Anything I can do to prevent deleting apps just to sync a calendar?

Have you transferred your purchases from the iPhone to the computer? If the apps are on the computer, while they will be deleted from the iPhone, they will be added right back. This is what happens if you have never synced with the computer before and change settings.

Using iTunes 11.1.3.8 to syn my Mini Ipad with my PC running Windows 8 and Outlook 2010 : Calendar is only synchronizing in one direction (from PC to Mini iPäd). I am having the same issue on "There is no indication that syncing calendars is even an option in iTunes, and there used to be! (not happy right now)"
My MacBook Pro running on OS X 10.9.1 won't even sync calendar with my iPhone right now.

If your Outlook 2007 is still not syncing to your phone I would like to recommend the following article to help you troubleshoot the Sync Services between your the two devices, named:
Troubleshooting Sync Services on Windows with Microsoft Outlook 2003, Outlook 2007, or Outlook 2010
First backup your data, THEN proceed with the articles troubleshooting step by step until it is resolved:
Back up your data
Refer to this Microsoft article for steps to back up the data in your PST file used by Microsoft Outlook 2003 or Microsoft Outlook 2007. This Microsoft article explains where the Microsoft Outlook 2010 data files are located.
For information about backing up the data in your OST file, contact your Exchange Administrator. Your OST file should be on the server and backed up when the server is backed up.
Before troubleshooting, it is recommended that you make a copy of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch backup in a safe place. For more information about where to find the backup and what information it contains, refer to About backups.

Cannot sync Outlook 2007 Calendar with iPhone 4 using iTunes 10 for Windows

I cannot sync my calendars with my iPhone and Outlook. I spent the whole day uninstalling Office and iTunes and reinstalling them, but calendar items still won't sync in either direction. I also deleted and reinstalled the Outlook iTunes addin. I'm not getting any error messages; they just are not syncing.
I am using:
Windows XP Pro
Outlook 2007
iPhone 4
iTunes 10

OK...here's the update. I tried a few more tricks, too numerous to go into and NOTHING worked. I finally downlaoded and installed Companionlink Express and.....presto! I can sync again. 49.95 for the Companionlink software. You would think the BB folks could write (or purchase) a decent piece of software. I purchased the 8330 primarily to help me keep up with my calendar. When that didn't work, I had a $200 dollar cell phone. RIM almost got this one back! By the way, the website is www.companionlink.com.

TS4118 I have synced outlook 2010 calendar with icloud, But....

I now have 2 calendars; the outlook default personal .pst with no data and my icloud with everything in it. If I create an appointment in the default calendar it does not sync to my iOS devices, and no appointments/tasks appear in the to do bar as they are all in icloud which isnt the default. If it is then imap mail accounts don't work. So I actually have to duplicate all appointments to get both things working!!
It would seem to be that these are pretty fundemental bugs. I want 1 calendar on my windows PC that syncs everything to my iPhone and iPad ..... does such a possibility exist? is Apple working on fixing these bugs.......any thoughts?

Are you sure you are going about this the right way? Where are you seeing their names with the '!'?
Go to your calendars at http://icloud.com and click on the Share icon for the calendar in question:
In the pop-up pane choose 'Private Calendar' and enter the @me.com email address, hit return and then click 'View and Edit' to set write privileges:
Click 'Share'.
If this is what you are doing and it's not working, please describe exactly what happens (screenshot if possible).

Can't Sync Outlook 2010 Calendar with BB Bold

I am trying to do a one way sync from the computer to the phone using USB and the Desktop Manager software. I have followed the help guides but when I am finsished, one of two things occur. Either the calendar on my phone is still empty or I get the following message:
"A program error occured at line 1041 in c:\hudson\jobs\rim7.1\workspace\rsutils\rectrans\rstol\rstoloom\OIAccess.h Please report this error by sending a log to technical support."
I can't even find a way to use my phone or the software to send the log. Do I need to re-install something in my phone? Help.

It starts with a process for cleanly starting over, and there is some discussion, and there is also a post (15) with links to older Desktop Software versions, if those are needed. Note that this is not, by any means, guaranteed to work...but it has worked for many to resolve issues they are having.

Sending logs to BlackBerry is a matter of obtaining formal support and escalation up to BlackBerry. That starts with your mobile service provider, who can escalate you up to BlackBerry, who could then provide you a method to send them the logs.

You would sync Outlook via iTunes on the computer. Connect the iPhone to the computer, make sure you have the latest version of iTunes running, select the iPhone in iTunes and it will display the Summary page. Select the Info tab, and there you would select what you want to sync calendar and contacts to. Make sure since this is the first time you have done a sync that whichever of the devices is new to the sync process has at least one unique contact/calendar event to get iTunes to prompt you for a merge or replacement. Synch Outlook 2010 diary with iphone 4 - was fine, now calendar gone!

I've just updated to Outlook 2010, and my iphone now won't sync with Outlook calendar, now wiped its entire contents so no diary at all on iphone! It goes thru the motions, but nothing is there. Fine and dandy in my Outlook on the pc. Daren't try synch with my ipad in case the same happens. Any bright ideas please. Frustrated of Hove

At the bottom of the calendar app click Calendars there should be a check to the left of your calendar. (my calendars weren't even listed here)

Google 2-step verification (I even turned this on to see if it would help)

Since I deleted all my accounts already this is what worked I don't know why.
Under “Settings – Mail,Contacts,Calendars – Accounts”
I added my google account “add account” “Google”... so on. Calendar was selected.
I added a second account “add account” “other” (at bottom) scroll down to “add CalDav Account” under calendars.
Server= www.google.com
user name = your email
password = your password
description = whatever
Calendar was selected.
Then I went to “Settings – Mail,Contacts,Calendars – Accounts” and down towards the bottom I clicked “default calendar” and set it.

How can I define on iTunes settings, that My Outlook 2010 Contacts, will change the Contacts details on iTunes( and of course my iPhone 4 ) ?

Can't sync Outlook 2007 Calendar on iPhone 3G, iOS 4, iTunes 9.2, WindowsXP

I did upgrade my iPhone 3G to iOS 4.0 and iTunes to 9.2. Now I can’t sync Outlook 2007 calendar. Contacts and notes are ok.
I did try to sync on Windows XP SP3 and Vista SP2. I was unable to sync calendar on both computers.
I had this problem before with iTunes 9x. I was able to fix it creating a new PST file and copying all folders to this new file.
Now with iOS 4.x and iTunes 9.2 it doesn’t work. I did uninstall iTunes, clear the Windows registry, and delete all Apple folders. I also downloaded again iTunes and install it from zero. It didn’t work at all.
I also uncheck, check, recheck the Advanced options in iTunes to delete, doesn’t synchronize calendars, and contacts on iPhone… nothing works.
What else can I do to fix this pain? Any suggestion?

Same problem here. Just bought an iPhone 3GS, downloaded iTunes 9.2 and it crashes my Outlook 2007. Outlook simply stops responding, and I have to kill it. Won't even start in Safe Mode. I have to restart the computer to revive it. Next time I start iTunes -- CRASH!
I bought the iPhone because I wanted to sych my emails, calendars and notes. Do I have to return the iPhone now?

My iPhone 3 had been syncing fine with Outlook 2003 via Google Sync. I recently had to reload my PC, wiped it and installed Outlook 2010 as part of the reload; when I tried to install Google Sync I learned it was no longer available for download after December 14th.....I did have it on another PC, moved it over but got an error message. So I am no longer able to make calendar changes on my iPhone and have them sync to Outlook or vise versa. In addition my Google calendar is now empty....

no you can not do that. You can sync any web calendar that supports web dav to lightning, but Microsoft have chosen to not use the open standard and instead only offer a Microsoft Proprietary interface. Nothing new here though. They only offered a Microsoft Proprietary interface to download mail for many years. They call it innovation. I call it vendor lock in.
Interestingly enough you can sync office 365 calendar via OWA but not outlook.com

this might have been answerd already,but i couldn't find it so here it goes:
my dad's got an iphone 3G and wants to sync it with his Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 calendar. it sycns all the dates but the time is always wrong, for example date 7:00 on office 07, same date on iphone 10:00.
Any ideas or does he have to change the calendar to an apple one?

Does your Dad have time zone support enabled with the Outlook calendar and if so, is the correct time zone selected on the computer?
The same with his iPhone. Is time zone support enabled on his iPhone and if so, which time zone is selected and does it match the time zone selected with Outlook on his computer?
If time zone support is selected with Outlook on his computer and with his iPhone, is this needed with either one?

Outlook 2007 calendar with iphone 5 gets one hour difference

I've iPhone 5, windows 7 and Outlook 2007. When I sync the calendar with iTunes everything works fine but then tried to sync whith Icloud the calendar entries on my iPhones everything is one hour later than the ones on my Outlook 2007.
When I create a metting on outlook with the hour correctly on the Icloud and on the Iphone have one hour later.
When I create a meeting in the iphone, the icloud gets the hour correctly but outlook shows it one hour earlier.
I've already checked the GMT setting on both Outlook and Windows, also the iPhone sync with my computer time and GMT when I connect it to the docking station so they are always the same.
Anyone has an idea about what is going wrong?

Best way to sync Outlook 2007 calendar with Exchange on SBS 2003

I currently have Vista and Outlook 2007.
My email, contacts and calendar are all in a OST file, which syncs to our Windows SBS 2003 server and the Exchange installed on it.
How should I configure my iPhone and iTunes, in order to have my calendar in iPhone?
After trying for several times to sync through iTunes without any success (could never have any items imported to the iPhone) I did create an Exchange account on my iPhone with the IP address of our SBS server, and my account details, and now all my items seem to appear (however they all have Accept/Maybe/Refuse buttons).
Is this the correct way? Will I get alarms for my appointments, even if I don't accept them on the iPhone?

OK, I think I figured it out, with Apple's iCloud instructions and a little help from campus tech support. This only applies to people using Outlook with Microsoft Exchange.
Enable iCloud on your computer (running Lion) and your iPhone. http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/mac.html
Then go to your iPhone's Mail icon, click on Add Account > Microsoft Exchange and enter your login info.
Doing this transferred my work email and calendar to my phone wirelessly.
