Syncing Outlook Office 2010 on iCloud

Once again I had to close Outlook 2010, remove and re-install icloud on my PC. This time it did not download/upload my contacts, shows icloud under each in Outlook but there are no files.
This is also a known issue with icloud. When is Apple going to fix it. My only other option is to get rid of icloud and manually enter info on iPhone and iPad after it has been entered in my pc.

Hi Maria,
I have SBO 8.8 PL18 and MS Outlook 2010 and the SBO Icon is available in the Add-ins and the Log settings are also available.
Please check if you outlook add-in has not been enabled or blocked.
In MS Outlook 2010 File --> Options --> Add-ins -->  in the Active application add-in's do you find SAP available. if not see in the disabled if its still not available
You will find manage in the last --> selct COM -Addins --> check if you have SAP business One flagged.
Ensure that you Macro settings are set to be enabled.
File --> Options > Trust Centre>   Trust centre settings --> macro settings --> Enable all macro's and flag apply macros to all Add-ins.
Do you have the Outlook integration server installed in the server or outlook integration standalone installed on the Client

  • Cannot Sync With Office 2010

Office 2010 has been released to Technet, schools, and other organizations. Maybe RIM should think about pulling one of their dusty programmers out of the closet to write a snippet of code so we can actually sync with Office 2010? I really getting sick of lookinbg at the "no message store" errors. Makes me want to buy a *real* smartphone.

The issue may be that Nokia bought the third party company that was doing the synch under Blackberry.
Blackberry: You need to fix that problem or switch to another third party. You may otherwise see a vast exodus to Android based phone.
I hope you have not come to be too big to care about your customers.

It seems you are posting this same information all over our forums. We welcome your input, but it's not really necessary to say the same thing over and over. Trust us...they get it. It is simply impossible for them to release any forward looking information -- things such as "2010 compatibility will be available on (insert date here)" are strictly forbidden as per the TOS of this site.
In regards to your hope that RIM will see your message -- these forums are a user-to-user support channel, not a user-to-RIM conduit. • Unable to Sync with Office 2010 / Outlook 2010

With the semi recent release of Office 2010, and the availability of the Office 2010 beta for about the last year... Unfortunately there has not been a method added to iTunes to support these calendar or contact types.
Any info on this topic would be great. If there is a beta patch available, I would be willing to test it without the fear of being unable to recover a backup of my outlook.pst file.
    Thanks for any assitance.

I have a solution that seems to fit globally...
When you download and install Office 2010, you have 3 choices that you may not be aware of: 32-bit, 64-bit, click-to-run.
    32-BIT
The 32 bit version is your typical office installation. You need to download the installer and let Office integrate with your system, just like every version to this point has done. This works with iTunes.
    64-BIT
I haven't heard anything good about this version yet. Reports say it won't allow syncing with iTunes and various other plugins. Installation works the same as the 32 bit version.
    CLICK-TO-RUN
This is a new installation method devised by Microsoft.
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/office2010/archive/2009/11/06/click-to-run-delivering -office-in-the-21st-century.aspx
It essentially runs Office as a virtualization on a new Q drive. That means there are no EXE files for iTunes to find. Also, iTunes will not be able to locate a default mail program, even though you have Outlook set as such.
Download time is hugely faster with C2R and updates are seamless. Kinda big brothery to me. If you want to reinstall office with a full, true version, log into your MSN account with the account you used to purchase the software, click my account, click download next the the product you purchased, then click Advanced Options and select the 32-bit version. You will need to uninstall Office 2010 before attempting a new install.
    Hope this helps.

  • Syncing Outlook contacts/calendars to iCloud? Back up .pst file first!

I see many people are having issues with losing calendars and contacts, or getting duplicates, when turning on iCloud "sync to Outlook" option. Suggestion, if you haven't already messed things up - save a renamed copy of your Outlook (2007 or 2010) "outlook.pst" file (or whatever .pst file holds your personal Outlook data) BEFORE you start. In a worst case, you can always turn iCloud off and replace the .pst file with the backup, and you will have your calendar and contacts (as of that date) as they were. (Outlook account settings - Data Files - Open File Location).
I have managed not to need it yet, but glad I have it. I still have occasional Calendar items disappearing from Outlook - work shifts, not good! Hopefully Apple will make this easier! Great when it works!

  • Only sync Outlook 2013 contacts to iCloud?

I don't want sync calendars, mails to iCloud, I just want to sync contacts in Outlook 2013 to iCloud. Can I choose that?
    Thanks

Since you only want to sync Contacts -- what about using iTunes? Here's some info. Obviously, it has some issues ... but maybe you'll have better luck?
Then someone posted this in another forum -- please note I don't know if it works as #2 concerns me:
    1. Un-installed iTunes.
    2. Deleted the AppData/Roaming/Apple Computer folder (***Careful: This contains all the back-ups. You can do a copy of this folder, but delete it from AppData/Roaming.)
    3. Re-started Windows.
    4. Downloaded and installed latest version of iTunes.
    5. De-activated all plug-ins from outlook except for the iTunes plug-in.
    6. Plug-in your iPhone and sync

    Hi,
On the recipient side, the email body shows blank when the recipient check the email, right?
Does this issue happen to all recipient or just one? Please let the recipient log into his web mail and check if he can see the email body.
Please try to turn off antivirus software on both sender and recipient side to test the issue again.
In addition, are you using an ANSI-formatted Outlook Data (.pst) file? If so, please see the following KB article and check if it applies:

    Hope this helps.

  • Office 2010 "outlook not installed"

I have a user (I'm their IT support) who has a BB Curve 8350 (?) and when they try to sync to office 2010 (calendar and address book) it lets me configure it in Intellisync but then gives me an "Microsoft Outlook Not Installed" error directly afterwards. Office is very clearly installed because I can open it up and check email etc. I'm using Windows 7 32 bit OS, Office 2010 32 bit and BBDM 6.0.1 B21. Phone is also updated to 5.0.
I've hunted through the forums but haven't found my answer. Any suggestions?

I have the same problem. Please need help

  • Sync Outlook contacts and calendar with iTunes between iPhone 4 and Outlook 2010 (32bits) USB only manually, not automatically.

    Hello guys,
After disabeling and enabeling the option automatic sync iPods, iPhones and iPad in iTunes (settings > devices), my iPhone 4 is only syncing manually and not automatically as before the option change.
With manually sync I mean connecting the usb cable and pushing the synchronisation button in iTunes. I reinstalled Outlook (Office 2010 32bit) and iTunes but it did not solve the problem and it's still only manually syncing. I also renewed the Windows Profile. Is there an option I missed in iTunes or Outlook? In Outlook is the iTunes Outlook Addin present and enabled....
How can I solve this problem?
    Thanks, William

Hi, could you specify what you did. It appears that nothing on my iPhone syncs any more. I have an iMac and iPhone 4 running the latest system updates. Thanks!

I had a similiar problem, with my multiple devices.  I open iTunes and when all devices were connected I went to the info section on each device.  Under info I checked the sync calandars. Under that I click all calanders. I then did the apply in low right. I then did the sync function and it fixed it for me.  You have to do this for each device.
I also checked the device (ipad,Iphone) themselves and change the calander selection to NO Catagory.  Hope this helps.

  • Help with Outlook 2010 sync calanders and contacts by iCloud! please help!

    I've got an quesstion:
I got Microsoft office 2010 x86 on my windows 7 PC.
With the iCloud program V 1.0.1
I checked all boxes : mail, contacts, calanders/ tasks, bookmarks, photo stream
    Now the question is..
When i open my outlook, i can see my mail from my icloud account..
But is there a possible way, that icloud sync my outlook 2010 with the contacts and calenders to?
Because all i can see is my mail, my calander and contacts are empty?
Isnt that what iCloud stand for, auto sync?
Or is the only way to  put contacts by checking in iTunes the contacs and calanders??
So its not possible that icloud sync auto, like it sync from iphone 4s to ipad, to icloud.com...
So what i try to say is if you add contact on your iphone 4s whereever you are.. that it auto sync with oudlook 2010 like it does on icloud.com and my ipad 2
    same idea as photostream..
Please help me.. if there is a solution how to fix this!

I will be installing Office 2010 soon and want to see what other's post?

  • I had iCloud on my Microsoft Office 2010 and tried to increase the font size - I read to unistall and reinstall, so I did. This took iCloud away from Calendars and Contacts. I re-installed iCloud and it will not sync with my Calendars

I had iCloud installed, and it was working, then I wanted to increase font size in the notes section of Calendar.  I read to uninstall iCloud and reinstall iCloud and it would be fixed.
Once I reinstalled iCloud it did not show up in Microsoft Office 2010 - Calendar or Contacts.........which it had previous to the uninstall.
When I sync it errors.  I am at my wits end trying to sync this, and it just keeps erroring. I am not syncing phots/photo stream, just contacts and calendar.
Please can anyone tell me what setting I have to change??

Needed to add some clarification here:
iCloud shows me as signed in, but Calendars are NOT checked
Internet Accounts shows Calendars as syncing

  • How to sync Outlook 2010 Notes to iCloud account?

I use Outlook 2010 and have installed the iCloud add-in but there is no "Notes" folder under iCloud in Outllok, it will not let me add a directory either. Is it not possible to sync the notes?

You would sync Outlook via iTunes on the computer. Connect the iPhone to the computer, make sure you have the latest version of iTunes running, select the iPhone in iTunes and it will display the Summary page. Select the Info tab, and there you would select what you want to sync calendar and contacts to. Make sure since this is the first time you have done a sync that whichever of the devices is new to the sync process has at least one unique contact/calendar event to get iTunes to prompt you for a merge or replacement. You can see this support document for help in setting up initial syncing. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1296
