Syncing photo albums

I have recently updated iPhoto and also had to restore my iPhone 4s. Since then, I noticed that my iPhoto albums on my iPhone no longer have the correct photos in them. The albums are correct in iPhoto. I also noticed that the last 12 months album does not contain all the latest imported photos. After several reboots and wireless syncs, nothing has improved. What should I do to fix this?

Not sure how to fix that - the order of albums and the order of photos in albums should match on the iPhone.

Synced photo album in ipad cannot be deleted

Few days ago, I synced a photo ablum into ipad.
When I want to delete the synced photo album today, I didn't find any albums in itunes.
However, I found I hv deleted the ipod photo cache folder that ican't delete the photo album.
So, is there any other ways to delete?

Backing up with iCloud would not backup synced photos anyway. iCloud only works photos that you take with the iPad.
There are third party WiFi apps that will allow you to transfer the photos back to the Mac. You download the app to both devices and then you can send photos and videos to and from each device.
I use this one. There are others available in the App Store.

Is it possible to sync photo albums created on iOS to the Mac or other devices? I know you can sync albums created in iPhoto on the Mac to iOS through iTunes, but I have created albums on iOS and would like to sync them to my Mac and other devices.

How do I get synced photo albums transferred from iphone to my mac?

I recently had to replace my hard drive on my Macbook and now that I have replaced the drive I would like to recover the pictures on my iphone.
I was able to get the camera roll photos using image capture but I am unable to get the photo albums that were synced from my previous iphoto library. My iPhone 4S is jailbroken so I could go in via SSH but the problem is that I cannot even locate the photos.
Is there a way to get those photos back onto my Macbook?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The photos "synched" from a computer to your iPhone aren't really the original photos. They're low resolution thumbnails suitable for display on the phone, but not practical for anything else. If you didn't bother to save the original photos before replacing your computer's hard drive, your pictures are gone.

My synced photo albums are empty, why?

I have the same problem. Latest iOS release (5.1.1 9B206). Latest Snow Leopard release (10.6.8). iPhoto 8.1.2 (424).
Some albums synced from iPhoto show up by name on my iPhone 4S, but they are empty. The file extension problem referenced by one person here isn't what is happening in my case.
I've tried unchecking the option in iTunes to sync photos, syncing, then rechecking the option, and syncing again. Problem still exists.

Not syncing Photo Albums

I have reset my iphone a number of times now, but my photo album is simply no longer showing when I sync. There is nothing on the bar while syncing, and when I open the photo icon it says "No Photos" (you can take pic...bla bla bla)
I think there must be pictures from my album on the iphone because the wallpaper I show from my private photo album not an apple. I can take images also and download them.
Also while I am syncing the syncing mode goes on and on and on as if looking for the album (which is ticked) and which has only a few smal pix in it. I have to manually interrupt the syncing otherwise it just stays on.
Any help is appreciated. Greatly...

Did you try to remove all photos from your phone by deselecting the folder in the photo pane in itunes? Then try again to select the folder on your computer and sync.

Can't sync photo albums to iPad after update

I just updated my ipad2 to 5.0, and am running the current version of iTunes on a windows vista pc. And can not sync my photo albums to my iPad 2. Please help? I tried and while in iTunes , when iPad is connected, the summary page says my photos are on the iPad, they are not actually on the iPad. I go to photos on the iPad and there are outlines of the albums with their names on them, but no pictures inside. Can anyone help please?:)))

Try deleting the photo cache from your computer and then re-try the photo sync and see if they then copy over - the location of the cache, and how to delete it, is on this page http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1314

Can't Sync Photos Album on iMac to iPad

I have created a new album in Photos and tried to sync it from my iMac to my iPad using the iTunes approach used before with iPhoto. I click the Sync photos button. It shows the Photos icon and name but shows 0 photos there. I click selected albums and it shows none. I click "Automatically include photos from last three months". It transfers nothing. Any ideas on how to solve this? ( iTunes 12.1.2 and I am not using the iCloud Library for my photos)

iTunes is syncing with the main System Photos Library. Only one of your Photos libraries can be the System Photos Library.
If iTunes is showing an empty library, your photos an albums may be in a different library than iTuns is syncing with.
While viewing your Photos Library with the album you want to upload to your iPad, open the Photos Preferences.
Make sure, the option "use as System Photos Library" is dimmed in the General Preferences. That means, that this library has already been enabled as the System Photos Library. If this option is not dimmed, click it.

Can't sync photo albums from iPhoto to iPhone 3GS

Hi, I'm having no problems getting photos off my iphone and currently have an empty camera roll. The problem is, I can't get photo albums to sync from iTunes. I get an 'unknown error (-50) each time.
No problem with syncing a folder, but that's a pain as it's a much more tedious way of doing things.
All software us upto date in iTunes, iPhoto, iPhone and I'm running Leopard on a MacBook.
Driving me mad..

Hi - similar problem: cannot sync iphoto events to my new iphone 4. Itunes goes halfway through the process of reformatting the photos, sometimes restarting this process, then tells me everything is synced....but no photos have been moved to my iphone.

Synced photo albums do not show up on ipad until rebooted - latest OS

Very annoying. Latest iTunes and iOS on iPad. Windows 8 PC OS. Sync works terribly. Videos don;t sync. Photos sync, but new albums show up only after I reboot. iTunes is not accurate about space used and space remainign. What's the deal- this is such a mess and every update seems to make it worse.

Syncing photo albums iOS 8 and iPhone 5

Just installed iOS 8 on iPhone 5.
Have selected transfer of certain albums to Photos on iPhone.
Only a random selection have been transferred.
Have tried to delete everything and re-sync. No good. Even when I unselect everything, meaning delete everything and re-load, it still shows 4730 photos (4.14GB) on the iPhone5 for example when I view through the iTunes app when the appropriate appliance is connected by cable, even though deleted everything.
I try to delete again, but they stay there.
Seems okay on iPad2 though.
Help? Ideas?

This all started for me on Ios 8.1 actually , slide to unlock just no longer responding. Now it got WORSE with ios 8.1.1. I have this on an Iphone 5, and Ipad 4 and on my wife's Iphone 5 as well. This has NOTHING to do with your iPhone or iPad but ALL to do with recent IOS updates.
I'm starting to think Apple rather mashes up an update to counteract JB rather then releasing quality upgrades anymore. I am really not interested in buying an Iphone 6 due to all the problems you hear with it, the louzy hardware in it and the fact that it's quite fragile compared to the iPhone 4 and 5. Cutting corners in material used to gain another buck ... where did we hear that before ? Also what's innovating about it ? New camera ? Faster CPU ? And you call tha ta "new" iphone ? LoL
Also please don't get fooled by "restore your iphone from scratch" and bugs will go away, THEY WON'T ! It's just a waste of time.
Anyway, please FIX bugs asap. The phone is starting to get on my nerves.

Sync photo albums

I have spent considerable time organizing photos into albums iPhoto
in Mac (Lion). Yet when I sync my iPad2 to this machine, it receives all the individual photos, but none of the "album" collections. What am I missing here?

My Mac has Sync settings (within iTunes) on the iPhoto tab set as follows:
- Sync iPhotos "From iPad" (Now I'm guessing this should be "From Mac" if I'm intending the Max to be the Boss machine)
- Sync All Photos, Events, Faces and Albums

Sync photo albums mac to iphone

I have 5KiMac, 32G ram, 3TB hd, 4G i7, AMD Radeon R9 M295X 4096 MB graphic
I have iPhone 4s in 8.3(12F70) 64G
I imported 8 photos to "Photos" in the 5KiMac.
I drag and drop them into an album call "my kids"
The album now shows 209 photos total.
I go to iTunes.
I plug my iPhone into my 5KiMac.
I click iPhone.
I click photos.
I waited and the "my kids" folder shows only 201 photos. (that was same as a month ago when I was still in iPhoto)
How do I make the 8 new photos I added to show up in iTunes?
How do I make iTunes aware that I have added new photos to "Photos" and the new ones are in the album "my kids"
Does iTunes know that iPhoto has been killed by Apple and replaced with Photos?
Please help.

Are you syncing those iPhoto albums thru iTunes? Give this a try:
1 - open the iPhoto library package as shown in this screenshot:
2 - locate and move the folder titled "iPod Cache Folder" to the Trash.
3 - close the package, launch iPhoto, launch iTunes and try syncing again.
