Syncing shuffle to PC w XP error messge

Im getting a "required disc space not found" error message.
Anyone have any idea what this is about..Im trying to sync a playlist to my new shuffle.

One thing that might help.
1. open itunes preferences from the edit menu and click on the devices tab.
2. check the box to disable syncing for iphones connected to itunes and click ok.
3. Then click the button to reset sync history.
4. Now click ok to close the preferences window.
5. connect the iphone to itunes and go to the info tab.
6. scroll to the bottom of the info page and check the box to replace the ical data on the iphone.
7. then click apply on the bottom right of itunes.
This will overwrite any events on the iphone, including any events that has become corrupted.

This is getting frustrating. Every example of my problem has the same reply:
Try deleting the iPod Photo Cache folder. This is normally located in your pictures folder. Once this is done, try syncing again.

I have NO photos on my Ipod Nano. I select "Photos" and the Ipod goes to a blank screen with the msg "No Photos" at the bottom. There must be some other file missing. Itunes won't connect to the Ipod, I keep getting the same error over and over. It would be nice if it told me what file is missing.

You can try a reset.
- Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Otherwise yo will have to update via iTunes on a computer. Other uses have had to do that.
- fyou update on other than your syncing computer/iTunes library following these instructions. When you restore the iPod it will also be updated.

Some things to try in this order:
1) Make sure you designated the correct folders for music, etc.
2) Press and Hold the Home and Power buttons on the iPad until the Apple Logo appears, about 10 seconds.
3) Make sure all antivirus and firewalls are off.
4) Delete and reinstall itunes. (Back up the itunes folder first.)

Hello all. I recently replaced the HD in my MacBook Pro. Just after, I retrieved my old files from the Time Machine backup, which I made just before the replacement. During the first sync of my iPhone via iTunes and while I was trying to sync my contacts I saw the message "iTunes could not sync contacts to iPhone because an error occurred while committing data". After that, I lost my iPhone contacts (I have them only from iCloud). The only problem is contacts, all the others (Calendars, Apps) are normally syncing. Does anybody has a solution? Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
If it does not resolve the issue, the device is permanently damaged and will require replacement.

Thanks for your reply, but you might have misunderstood it a bit. I'm NOT trying to buy a movie. ****, I'm not even in the actual Apple Store, when this happens I'm in the library not the Store part of iTunes.
To clarify - I have purchased a physical copy of a movie which came with another physical copy which contains the digital copy. The digital copy is on the DVD, all I need is just to transfer this file to my iPod Touch, for example, I'm not trying to download it from the store or repurchase it and it's not any gift code that I've received, the digital copy is on the disc. This is the first time ever that I've purchased something on a disc and I'm not allowed to access it because the disc hasn't been purchased within my country.
So again - I'm not attempting any purchase or download any purchased digital copy - it's on a DVD I own physically so... why is even the region of my Store relevant, the code I enter is (as I assume) just supposed to check if it's a legal genuine copy (which it is, as I've said - there are 6 discs in the pack: 3 movies on 3 Blu-rays and 3 DVD containing these digital copies of them). If I own it, I think that's proof enough that I have the right to use it. I just don't get it. I fully agree with you and understand your point if there was any purchase going on here, but it's not, it's just - I put a disc into my computer and I can't access it
