Syncing Stopped Working... Suddenly my iPhone is not synced to my computer.
All of a sudden, syncing has stopped working between my iPhone and Macbook. I now get the following message: The iPhone "..." is synced with another iTunes Library. Do you want to erase this iPhone and sync with this iTunes library?
I only have one computer and one iPhone so how could this be? How can I get the iPhone to recognize that this is the same computer and the same library I have been since I bought the iPhone two weeks ago?
Since my last successful sync I added a number of contacts and calendar information to my iPhone so I would prefer not to erase it...
Same thing is happening to me. I am using the same computer and same itunes library I have had since I purchased the phone but still get the message that my iphone is synced with another library. I am using my work laptop which connects to a docking station at the office. This problem usually occurs after I have worked on itunes at home and then set the computer back on the docking station at work. It's like the sync process for my computer at work makes the itunes library unrecognizable. Sorry if this is confusing, but it is highly irritating to have to erase and sync so frequently.

Just got my iPad and when syncing photos will only sync recent photos taken on iPhone - will not sync any photos from my albums or events despite selecting all events or even when i select specific events or albums.
What is the file name of the video(s) you want to sync?
Another way. You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

I have an iPhone 5 running iOS 7.1.2. I am using iTunes version 11.2.2.3 on Windows 7. After updating to the new version of iTunes I am currently using, the snyc between my Outlook calendar and phone stopped working. I get the error "iTunes could not sync the calendars to the phone xxxxx because the sync server failed to sync the iphone" I followed the instructions here - Troubleshooting Sync Services on Windows with Microsoft Outlook 2003, Outlook 2007, or Outlook 2010 - to no avail, with the exception of not re-installing Outlook. Not an option on my corporate computer. When I run the Sync test, it says it passes -

Mail stopped working on iPad & iPhone, but not G5, after installing iOS 7.
Here we have a G5, an iPhone-4 and an iPad all linked to the same POP account. Mail fetching on all three devices had been working fine.
Earlier this week (10/23 or 10/24), however, Mail on both the iPhone and the iPad quit working shortly after our having installed iOS 7 on each of them. This could be a coincidence, but Mail on a G5 running 10.5.8 linked to the same account is still fetching and sending mail just fine.
Every time we swipe down on the message list (the gesture to fetch new mail) in Mail on the iPad, an error message appears,
Cannot Get Mail
The user name or password for
"Primary Mail Account" is incorrect
Settings | OK
An analogous gesture on the iPhone produces the same message.
But Mail on the G5 (running 10.5.8) still works fine to fetch mail from the same POP account.
Here are some details:
About two weeks ago, we installed iOS 7 on the iPad and the iPhone. Mail continued to work after the installation.
About a week later, last Wednesday, 10/23, the iPad went through a spontaneous installation event, in which the multilingual series of "Hello!" images familiar to those who install Mac operating systems floated across the screen. Apparently, this event installed iOS 7.0.3. There followed a short series of initialization dialogs, then everything seemed to work OK.
Except that Mail wasn't working. This could be a coincidence, but Mail on this iPad has not worked since last Wednesday. The last message received is dated last Wednesday.
We don't know whether the iPhone went through a similar event, but Mail quit working on it, as well. Mail on this iPhone now gets the same message, above, as on the iPad. The last message received by the iPhone was last Thursday, 10/24. The iPhone's iOS is now 7.0.2. The iPhone says that iOS 7.0.3 is downloaded, but not yet installed.
We compared the settings for Mail on the G5, on which Mail is still working, against the settings on the iPad and the iPhone. They all seem pretty much the same.
Have you heard of anyone else with this problem, or might you have an idea how to research it?

I thought I'd be clever and create a new account before deleting the old one. That didn't work, as "Settings" kept insisting that the account had already been created. I had actually to delete the old account and create a new one from nada.
I was careful to write down all the settings parameters first. Even so, it took a few tries to get everything spelled right. Fortunately, "Settings" checked everything carefully and its messages pointed to the right places.
I still got the same error message the first time i relaunched Mail. However, this time I chose the "OK" option. Since then and thereafter it seems to be working.

what can i do?1- Do you have it set as "Manually manage music and video"? If so, it will not sync to iTunes in manual mode.
2- If you have it set to auto-sync (opposite of #1), do you have it set to automatically launch iTunes when you connect it? If not, the auto-sync will not automatically start if iTunes is already running, you'd have to click the Sync button to get the auto-sync to commence.
3- Do you have iTunes set to not auto-sync devices? Go to Edit/ Preferences and click on the Devices tab to see if this option has been set. If so, then you must manually initiate the auto-sync (which is not the same as manually managing the device). Or, simply de-select this iTunes option. -
Reminders syncs well with my iPad mini, MacAir, and Mac mini. However my iPhone 5 Reminders does not. Items I enter on one of the devices show-up on iCloud and the other devices except for my iPhone 5. Vice versa if I enter a new item on my iPhone it does not show up on the other devices or iCloud. Essentially the same things happens when I complete an item. When I review how iCloud and Reminders is setup on the iPad and iPhone it appears to be the same.
CharlesFirst check that all your settings are correct, that reminders syncing (calendars on a computer) is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the reminders you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by checking in accounts on an iOS device by tapping the icon with three lines in the top left corner of the screen, or the right side panel by clicking on the small triangle to the right of the word 'Reminders' in iCal on a computer), non iCloud reminders will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your reminders are in the iCloud group, you might try unchecking reminders syncing (calendars syncing on a computer) in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling reminders syncing. -
Bluetooth device stopped working suddenly.

My bluetooth controller was working till yesterday and stopped working suddenly today i am not sure what caused the problem, I use a bluetooth headset and when i tried to connect it today i saw that it was failing and when i tried to reboot the system then everything is gone, the logs seems to throw some strange errors. Please see my system configuration below.

Resetting the bluetooth device works sometimes but not always. There is always a chance that the device will just become unresponsive to any kinds of commands:
# hciconfig hci0 reset

I've tried various methods (block/unblock them with rfkill, `rmmod btusb` & `modprobe btusb`, etc) but none works after the device is "dead". The only way to recover seems to be powering off the laptop (simply rebooting doesn't fix the problem).

At the London Regent Street Store yesterday (after an hour's wait beyond appointment time) the Genius test said it was a hardware fault and the airport card must be faulty/dead. However, when I got home I turned the mbp on and, as if by magic, wifi was working normally. About 3 hours later it failed. I switched off overnight. It's been dead most of the day so I did a complete clean up using Onyx, restarted and, yes, you guessed it, wifi was back.
I guess it could be a faulty airport card but it seemsthere are an awful lot of airport cards failing all at the same time! Coincidence or a software glitch post 10.7.2? Various forums now seem to have plenty of entries from mac owners with this same problem.
How do we get an official response from Apple on this? In my experience Apple are fantastic at addressing this kind of issue once they know. How can we ensure they are aware?

My Kindle app suddenly stopped working on my iPhone 4s. All my software is up to date and I have restarted the phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it still opens and shuts down instantly. Any ideas?
We need clarification here.
Please don't just state version numbers, also state which software. iTunes 10.7 requires OSX 10.6.8 or higher. Leopard is OSX 10.5.8. You have two alternatives right now. One is to stay with Leopard for a while (ultimately you should upgrade) and install iTunes 10.6.3 which is the last version to work with Leopard. This should work with iOS6 on an iPhone4. The other is to call Apple and order OSX 10.6 (Snow Leopard) and upgrade the computer to 10.6.8 which will allow you to run iTunes 10.7. The caveat is we know nothing about which computer you run and if it even can run any system higher than Leopard.

If you want to try upgrading:
Get more information about your computer. Go to the Apple in the upper left corner of any window, then "About this Mac" and "More Info..." Copy and paste the information here, but omit the serial number and Hardware UUID (if present). If it says something about Intel or Core Duo or Core 2 Duo in the processor you can upgrade to Snow Leopard (assuming you have sufficient RAM/"memory"). If it says PPC or PowerMac, you cannot.

Copy the entire /Music/iTunes/ folder from old computer or backup to /Music/ on new computer.
If you cannot use the old computer or don't have a backup...
