Syncing to Samsung Tocco Lite; Plugin creator?

Hey guys
My Samsung Tocco Lite (S5230) uses the SyncML profile. Using my VM, I tried syncing via Bluetooth on Windows, and it works fine using Samsungs application.
So, I'm trying to make my own profile with the Developer Tools' "iSync Plug-in Maker". It seems straightforward enough. It will connect to the phone, and the bluetooth logo on the phone kicks in and flashes. But, it stops at that. It just seems to timeout.
Any ideas on things I may need to change? It's using Bluetooth OBEX, RFCOMM Serial and LibWBXML.

There are 1001 things you could change in the iSync Plug-in Maker! Have you consulted its documentation?

You'll need to get some detailed developer documentation on the exact data that the phone uses, the fields, lengths, custom bits, communication protocol, any manufacturer specific data, etc. etc. Every manufacturer and often, phone from the same manufacturer is different.
Once you have all that and have adjusted the plugin to suit, there is a very long laborious process of running the hundreds of automated tests, and then tweaking the settings based on the results, so that it passes all tests.
Then you'll have a working plugin (maybe!). Unless someone else has the phone, and the detailed developer info on that phone, no-one can tell you what needs changing to make it work.

I have iMac. But too I have Samsung X700 mobile phone. This summer I will bought Samsung i750. But I have one problem. I cannot connect my phone with my Mac. I respect all Apple Inc. I know that you are very happy because you will have your iPhone. But you must to undersantd that we have not iPhone and we want to connect our phones with Mac. Please help me. If somebody have some ideas write me please.

Most Samsung phones are not compatible with iSync, not because of Apple, but because Samsung have not bothered to implement the industry standard SyncML protocol in most of their phones.
Currently there are two Samsung phones which are compatible with iSync natively, plus a few more via plugins.
Before buying a phone you should always check out Apple iSync Supported Devices page, or a third-party plugin provider such as Feisar or Novamedia, if syncing is important to you.

Technically, from the phones specifications, it looks as though an iSync Plugin may be feasible, but as yet there is none available.
I'm afraid it's just a case of waiting until either Samsung or a third-party releases a plugin. There's no timescale for this though - it could be days, weeks, months or never...

10.4.9 update prevented syncing with SE K510i (via plugin)

Under 10.4.8 and previous version of iSync my phone, Sony Ericsson K510i was syncing with my iMac with the help of a plugin taken from http://www.mactomster.de/category/sonyericsson/. However the last update of the system made it impossible. Is there any solution?
Why doesn't Apple provide K510i support when it is a quite popular and common model?..

Can I sync my Samsung calendar to ical calendar?

I have a Samsung Galaxy phone. I'd like to use the calendar on that but sync it to ical. Anyone else do this. It worked on my old Android device.

Leopard bluetooth sync with Samsung Sway phone?

I'm about to purchase a Samsung Sway cell phone and was wondering if it will sync with bluetooth?

It's a great phone and I got it too. So far neither of these companies have support yet.
I've been in email contact with Novamedia in Germany and they are keen to help but they need info on the phone. They sent me a PhoneInspector application that would generate a report (which would then be sent the the company) but I couldn't make it pair with the phone.
Anybody want the app to give it a shot?

Core Sync trying to download corrupted plugin

Hello all,
I have horrible problem with Core Sync process. After each and every Creative Cloud application start the Core Sync process is trying to download ~250MB of Photoshop plugin called FlyPaper Select. But after downloading this plugin I get notification error "Cannot install Flypaper Select plugin (error -603)". Below one of many log entries about this error from Core Sync logs:

As I said Creative Cloud tries to download this plugin after each application start. It is not a big deal in my home, I've got 40Mb/s Internet connection, but in my work I've got only 4Mb/s so download takes some time and bandwidth. As for now the only way I know to stop downloading is to kill Core Sync process each time. I wish I could somehow force Core Sync to not download FlyPaper Select plugin, but really don't know how…

Samsung Tocco Ultra

Can anyone help. I've just purchased the new samsung tocca ultra and it will not show up on my mac. Every other phone i have connects to iphoto straight away but this does not want to. I have tried everything. I've also just found out about isync, i had the iphone before and really missed the syncing part.

I'm having the same issue with mine.
I am very disappointed to find its forgotten the most important element! Apple compatibly should be a must with new technology. Im going have to use my 14 days to get rid of this phone. What a shame. Don't buy this phone, unless you have the time and day to fiddle around.
