Syncing troubles with the new iTunes software.
Why won't CD's I put in iTunes not sync to my iDevices? I'll burn a CD to my itunes library to problem. But if I want to put that CD to my iPod/iPad, it won't do it. HELP!

Try getting a dif. kind of converter. It didnt work for me either. I tried quite a few, until I came across Xilsoft Video Converter. Absolutely free.

If you transfer any iTunes content to the iPhone from an iTunes library on another computer, all iTunes content on the iPhone will be erased first with a warning message provided indicating this beforehand.
Authorize the different computer with your Apple ID with iTunes. With your iPhone connected and without syncing, right click on the iPhone under Devices in the iTunes source list and at the menu window that appears, select Transfer Purchases. This will transfer all apps on your iPhone to the iTunes library. -

I just downloaded the new iTunes (11.0.1.12) and am facing some sunc issues.
In my previous itunes, when i would download an app to my iPod over wifi and then connect it to my PC, iTunes would automatically sync and maintain a copy of the app in my PC. My iPod and the PC would be in sync.
But now after I've downloaded this latest iTunes, I downloaded an app to my iPod and when I tried to sync with the PC, the app no longer got copied to my PC. I've tried syncing many times. Its there on my iPod but never gets copied to the PC during sync. Why is is this happening?

With the new upgraded itunes software, I can purchase new music but can't figure out how to sync it to my Ipod. I've looked everywhere to find how to do it. Before it was so easy to drag and drop. Can anyone help me?
You can enable the left-hand sidebar that you used to show on previous versions of iTunes via control-S on a PC - it should then look, and be able to be used, similar to how it used to be

I downloaded the new iTunes tonight (11/30/12) and it is significantly different but there is a problem with the icon for finding the iPhone in order to sync. They have either made this significantly harder or there is a bug. The video tutorial was no help on this point. Thanks.
try holding ctrl + S. that should pop the side bar up, so you can see your devices.

The new ITunes software for Windows, ITunes vers. 11.0.1.12, is extemely clumsy for managing my IPhone 4. The help material is designed for the older version so is of no use. The interface is extremely difficult to use except for buying music or video. I'm trying to managing updating applications and syncing with my IPhone but there I can't find a drop-down menu or anything on help that tells me how to get to the IPhone window so I can initiate a re-sync on my IPhone. This is very frustrating because Apple is supposed to make things "intuitive" and have "good" help. Well, it's NOT intuitive and there is NO HELP. You need to fix this. I mean a terrible map application and now this terrible interface. Nothing but downhill since Jobs left us. Just remember, we all bolted from Microsoft because of this sort of crap and we can all bolt to Android if you keep up this trend.

View > Show Sidebar
View > Show Staus Bar
Deactivate Search Entire Library to speed things up.
This should make managing your iPhone the same as it was before. -
with the new itunes i'm having trouble transfering music from my computer to my older ipod.
If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. This makes 1 look and act more like previous versions. Also go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Sync your iPod>Sync your device>Set up syncing>Sync device manually.

I uploded the new itunes software and now my ipod touch is not getting reconized in my itunes. I went through all the trouble shooting support from apple. But I do have a avast antivirus on my computer i wonder if that is what is holding it up

I have recently updated my computer since my old one broke and therefore had to download a new iTunes. When I came to add my iPod to this new iTunes, I was given no option to transfer the contents of my iPod library to this new iTunes and was forced to try 'sync'; when my old computer was repaired once we lost all of our data so I had to download a new iTunes then,all of my iPod downloads were transferred and I could easily reburn my CDs so I didn't think the wiping of my iPod would be a problem. When I clicked 'sync' it warned me that it would replace the contents of my iPod with the new iTunes library, as I said I didn't think this would be a problembut then it asked if it should transfer my recent iTunes downloads so I said 'yes'. The sync was completed but now I only have 4 downloaded songs and 5 albums which I burned to my new iTunes! I have lost all the music I bought, all the videos I bought and all the audiobooks I bought! (Luckily I still have my apps.) I tried to restore backup but realised that only covers calendars, contacts E.T.C and I checked my iTunes account and that shows all my downloads but I can't see a way to restore them or anything like that!
Please help! I am in despair as you can imagine how much moneys worth I have lost and am losing faith in AppleCorrect. When you update via iTunes all synced media that is not in your iTunes library will be lost.

There is no Info tab in Mavericks

You might consider itunes match for moving CDs you've copied into your itunes library if you dont have a way to use home sharing.
iTunes match is an optional service offered by apple that costs about $25 a year. It scans your music library and if it finds music that is already in apple's itunes catalog it'll automatically "unlock"/"store" these in the cloud for you. I just upgraded to Lightroom 5 from Lightroom 3, and the import dialog won't open. I can select File -> Import Photos and Video..., and the menu option blinks like it was selected, but nothing else happens. Any ideas? I'm on OS X Mavericks.
