Syncing Zen (8gb) with other Mp3 Pla

We recently switched out computers and now my music including playlists etc. is on my dell dj mp3 player. Is there anyway to sync the Zen with the Dell? I tried the sync manager, but it will not recognize my dell.Message Edited by misfit_soul on 2-26-200705:34 PM

i don't think so, they are 2 compeltely different brands just move all files from Dell onto your computer's disk and then from disk onto the ZEN.

  • SHARING SONGS WITH OTHER MP3 PLAYERS

Does anyone know if there is a way to share songs with other MP3 players, such as the Dell DJ?
That is wat I used to have before i got my iPod and i would like to get the 2500 songs off of that and onto my new iPod.
    Thanks for the help.

Does the Dell come with any software to move songs to a PC? If you can do that, you can add any MP3s from it into the iTunes Library. Google for software for the Dell or try the Dell forums to see if anyone there has an answer.

  • Is this earpods match with other mp3 players?

Is this earpod match with other mp3 players and produce its effects?

It uses the industry standard 3.5 mm plug, so it should work with all other MP3 players or electronics that make use of the 3.5 mm headphone jack.
However, the remote and Mic probably wont' work with them though.

  • How to sync Oracle Database with other DB

Trying to find out if there is a way to keep my data set in oracle database in sync with other DB tyring to access the same data to make sure the data being grab is the most updated data.
They mention about Oracle Pipe...whats that?
    thanks

What is the "other database" being used for? Are you using it for disaster recovery? To offload reporting? Something else?
Are you trying to replicate the entire database? Or some subset (a schema, a handful of tables, something else)?
What version of Oracle are you using on the source? What database are you using on the destination?
Are changes allowed on both databases? Or do you just need a master/ slave architecture?
What is the acceptable delay between a change being made on the primary and that change becoming visible on the destination?

  • Trouble with my zen extra 40 gig mp3 pla

    What did I do wrong?
I updated the firmware, the computer sees the player, now it sees it as a 20 mb hd plus, the firmware tells me that the device is not pluged in even though the computer sees it. it's in a recovery mode and seems impossible to access. Hope this is not a los cause. Any help on this will be greately appreciated.

You are victim number 224 of creatives bug ridden firmware update. Have a look through the recent threads and you will find that this has been happening for a while now. A few people have managed to get their Zen working again but not many. You could email creative support but you won't get any useful help, just an ?85 bill to replace it.

  • Apartment Bookshelf Stereo Solution with Creative mp3 Pla

I'm looking for a recommendation for an at-home speaker setup for the Creative mp3 players.
We li've in a small apartment with a small living room, so we do not need that much power. We just want to have a convenient way to play our mp3s and listen to the radio.
The ideal setup would be a small unit of speakers (or separate speakers) with a drop-in dock for the mp3 player. A remote could be used to adjust volume, go to the next track, or turn power on and off. FM radio reception would also be nice. It MUST provide power to the mp3 player so the mp3 player is not running on batteries. I've seen all kinds of products that do this with iPods, but we already have (and enjoy) our Creative products.
Of course I can just connect one of our mp3 players to a bookshelf stereo. This is not a terrible solution as long as I have the A/C power cord close by. No remote and no easy dock, but it works... I already do this in our bedroom using the little bookshelf stereo we have.
The big downside to this is that I have read in the manual for some Creative mp3 players that you shouldn't leave them plugged in an charging all the time. That's a bit of a problem if we want to leave it connected to the stereo most of the time, and don't want to worry about having to recharge it.
We have older mp3 players like the Jukebox 3 and the Zen Xtra. I've seen the portable docking device for the Zen Micro, but no way do we want an mp3 player with such a tiny hard dri've. We need at least 20GB.
How about connecting a Zen Vision M, or an older Zen/Jukebox to something like the I-Trigue L3800, or to one of those iPod devices like the Klipsch iGroove? The I-Trigue with the Creative Wireless Remote I200 is one option, but is it safe to leave the mp3 player plugged into AC power all the time?
I've also considered a WiFi stereo component that can pull songs off the computer, but with that the computer always has to stay on. When we have a house maybe I'll build a media computer/server that stays running all the time, but for now we just want a very basic setup for our apartment.
I wouldn't mind upgrading my mp3 player, so I'm pretty close to just purchasing a 30GB iPod and one of the many drop-in solutions for playing your iPod tunes in the living room. Too bad Creative doesn't offer such an accessory for the large-capacity Zen mp3 players.
    Sean

Hmmm... I am now finding some intriguing accessories... like the Cambridge Pladock that can play and charge Zen players. A little pricey for what probably isn't the best-sound, but all those iPod solutions from Klipsch and Bose are pricey as well.
Looks like the Zen Vision M docking station might be a good solution. Does anyone have one of these that they just leave connected to the stereo and/or tv and AC power? How do you like it's I guess this might be more versatile than the Playdock.
Not quite as slick as the many iPod solutions out there, but I like the Creative mp3 players we already have, and the Vision M looks like an awfully nice updgrade from my Jukebox 3 (which has been a little buggy since a recent drop to the pavement). In addition to using it to listen to our mp3s over external speakers, it would be nice to use it for watching video on the tv as well.Message Edited by sean000 on 08-2-2006 02:55 PMMessage Edited by sean000 on 08-2-2006 03:3 PM

  • How do i Sync the outlines with other databases

    Hi,
I have got two databases and there is a transparent partition between both these databases with MYACT being the source database and MY06W being the target databse. whenever there is any addition of members to my source database how do i sync my target database using maxl script. Can anyone of you help me out in this regard....
    Regards,
    Krishna

You could also look into the partitioning synchronisation seeing as you have already developed the partitions.
You can set outline changes to pass the same way as the data or vice versa and it keeps track of changes in .chg files.
Have a review of this functionality, it may be the simpler way to complete.
    Hope this helps

  • Sync iTunes Playlist with other Mac

Hey everybody!! I have an iMac with a 20.000+ Song Music Library which I do most of my work on. I also have a 128GB macbook air which I use for DJing.
Is there any way that I could wirelessly sync the playlists I make on my iMac with my Macbook Air?
I would be using iTunes Match but the problem is that matched songs are only available in 256k and I need them in 320k.
    Thanks in advance!

  • ITunes with other MP3 Players

I am SICK and tired of my iPod not working correctly... I want to buy another MP3 player... can I use the iTunes songs (that I already paid a ridiculous amount of money on) with systems other than apple?

Purchases from the store are in protected AAC format which will not be compatible with anything but an iPod. If you change your purchase to mp3 format, you will have to burn to an audio CD, use the audio CD to re-import as mp3.
I nearly forgot this link from Scott P. & Hudgie which will explain iTunes compatibility with non-iPod devices. Unfortunately, the short answer is that they won't work.

  • Old iPhone sync at odds with other cloud devices?

    Hello
My wife's "old" iphone 3g has iOS 4 that does not support iCloud, and I guess Apple won't update the iOS for that model anymore?
All my other relevant devices and my main computer have been moved to iCloud and so my contacts etc are in the cloud.
BUT since I did not want all my cloud contacts duplicated "on my mac" and cause confusion about which one is the most updated, I deleted all the "on my Mac" contacts so when I search my entire address book it only should find one of any given person.
But now the old iPhone has no hardware-based contacts to sync with, so it is empty.
How do I have only ONE set of contacts, but also have cloud-enabled and non-cloud-enabled systems work???
This worked just fine in the old days of DotMac where there was local AND cloud versions that worked in harmony most of the time.

Hi sberman, while I realize that this 2009 phone will not support over the air effortless iCloud syncing, my main questions was how do I use it like it normally was synced during physical usb updating?
I plan on updating it at some point, but all I want is for my wife to have contacts that update when I plug in the phone every once and a while. At the moment it has NO contacts since it seemed I needed to delete my Mac-based contacts for me to enjoy the use of my Cloud based contacts without duplicates.
I wish that my adress book did not have "on the cloud" and "on my mac", but I don't know an alternative. I though iCloud was supposed to make life effortless?
Any setting or workaround that anybody knows of?

  • Compare and sync iPhoto library with other folders

I have several folders of photos from a defunct Windows pc, some of which are in the iPhoto library, others not. Is there any way of comparing the contents given that is is impossible to view the iPhoto library in Finder?
I have SyncFolder and would ideally like to sync the folders and library.

I have several folders of photos from a defunct Windows pc, some of which are in the iPhoto library, others not.
Import them to iPhoto with the doe no import duplicates checked?
is is impossible to view the iPhoto library in Finder?
No it is not impossible - it is not advised and is not supported but is certainly not impossible - however It is not at all clear how viewing the photos in the finder helps you in this
The key is that you must NEVER make any changes to the structure or content of the iPhoto library using the finder - it is not impossible to view things with the finder
However this means that you can not use programs like SyncFolder to make change to the content of the iPhoto library - if yo do that you will corrupt yrou library
In the end you probable nee dto import them and then purchase iPhoto Library Manager - http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/ -  and use it's duplicate finding capability

  • SYNC new mbp with other devices?

New (refurbished, purchased from Apple) MacBook Pro, migrated from MacBook Air, but now not synced with phone & iPad.
    How to SYNC MY:
    MacBook Pro ( OS X.10.1 )   ?
    iPhone 6    ?
    iPad 8.1.2   ?
    Thanks!

    Hello ApostrapheS,
It sounds like you aren't able to see your iOS devices in iTunes to sync to them. If that is the case use the troubleshooting in the following article, named:
iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for OS X
Follow these steps to resolve your issue:
If you haven't connected your iOS device to this computer before, unlock the device and tap Trust. Learn more about the Trust This Computer alert.
    Restart your iOS device.
    Restart your Mac.
Make sure that your Mac meets the minimum system requirements for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
Install software updates on your Mac.
If an iTunes update is available, apply the update.
Check USB connections. iOS devices need USB 2.0 to work properly. If you're not sure your Mac has USB 2.0 ports, check the computer's specifications.
Disconnect other USB devices and connect your device directly to a USB port on your Mac.
    Try another USB cable.
If that is not what is happening, would you mind elaborating on what is happening when you try to sync your devices? Is there an error message of any sort?
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    Regards,
    Sterling

  • Trouble with MuVo mp3 pla

I downloaded music to my new MuVo mp3 player but the player says there's no music on it. When I plug the mp3 player into the computer, I can see all the songs I downloaded but when I turn on the player - the message is no music. Please help. I can't wait to start enjoying listening to music everywhere I go. Thanks

Are the songs in the right format? I assume the muvo is compatable with mp3/.wma/.wav Are your songs in those formats? I have a muvo tx fm 256mb and those are pretty much the files that I think it supports. Are your songs in those forms?

  • Problems with my mp3 pla

    Hello there,
About two years ago I bought a Creative Zen Micro (5ghz) and i'd never registered it because i'd didn't want to.
But now I have several problems with my Creative Zen
    - I'm not able to switch it on (and no the battery is not empty). Only when I connect it to the computer the backlight lit up.
    - My computer doesn't reconize the player although it does lit (only the backlight)
    - When I keep it connected to my computer after it starts up I do get the sound of using the menu (i hear the clicks) but idon't see anything.
I've tried to contact creative with the help of the support part of the website? for 2 times. With both times i'd never got an answer back not even a confirm mail.
Can anybody help me because I don't know what to do anymore
    greetings from Holland

The correct instructions for putting your Zen Micro 5GB are at the top of this page under the post of "How Do I Access Rescue/Recovery Mode on my player " It has instructions for all the players. I used these instructions last night and it worked fine. You don't plug the Zen Micro into the computer when trying to go to recovery mode. You will be plugging in your computer later to add firmware and drivers.
