Syndicating pdf/jpeg from MDM to ECC

Hi All,
Its not possible to syndicate PDF's/JPEG files from MDM. Is there any work aroung to achieve this? Please reply if anyone has work on such a scenario.
Thanks in advance.
Manish

Hello Manish
I don't know why you need to  syndicate pdf/ jpeg files from MDM to ECC (I think that isn't make sense).
That ability doesn't supported in mdm.
You can connect to pdf/ jpeg files stored in MDM from Web Services.

  • Syndicating Location master from MDM to ECC

    Dear All
We want to syndicate Locations from MDM to ECC using BETMAS but there is no std process code for its processing in ECC.
What is the best way to sydicate a Location from MDM to ECC? Has anyone implemented this scenario, please provide the steps and approach for doing the same.
    Thanks a lot-
    Ravi

    Hi Ravi,
I have a very little but important information regarding this.
BETMAS messages are handled using the Function module IDOC_INPUT_BETMAS.
It updates some of the system tables after successful processing. Following are the tables updated with this FM.
    T001W
    T001K
    Too1L
    WRF1
    WRF3
    WRF4
    WRF6
    T023W
    T023X
    WRF12
Hope this is useful information for you.

  • Possibility to execute Acrobat Pro's "Combine files into PDF" function from within SAP?

    Good day.
Presently, a company uses Acrobat Pro to manually combine files such as *.pdf, *.jpg, *.doc, which have been downloaded from SAP's Document Management System, into one pdf file. I would like to know if it is possible to automatically execute Acrobat Pro's "Combine files into PDF" function from within SAP (ECC 6.0) application system. I'm wondering if this could be achieved from a program via OLE (Object Linking and Embedding) or RFC (remote function call).
Thanks in advance for your thoughts and inputs.

Yes, you can combine PDF files via IAC/COM methods.

  • Posting Vendor data from MDM to R3

    Hi,
We are trying to post vendor data from MDM to ECC via XI using CREMDM -> CREMAS + ADRMAS and using the standard mapping SAP has provided. I have serialized CREMAS + ADRMAS such that ADRMAS posts before CREMAS. ADRMAS works fine but CREMAS fails with error "Fill all required fields SAPMF02K 0111 ADDR1_DATA-NAME1". Standard mapping is mapping the no-data value "/" in CREMAS NAME1 field too as recommended.Still it throws this error.
If anyone has worked on similar scenario...Please help.
    Thanks,

    Hi Swapna,
we had faced the same error.
You will need to enter a value in the name1 field if you want your idoc to post successfully.
even though in the vendor creation transaction name1 is not a mandatory field but for the idoc posting, the name1 field is required.
We solved the error by entering a value in the name 1 field.
    Hope this helps.

  • Bank details not visible in R3 after syndicating from MDM

I have used standard map debmdm06 to syndicate  Customer  records from MDM(SP5) to R3.The IDoc seems to get posted, but the bank details were not appearing in R3.
Can anybody help me out in this issue.

    Hi,
This could happen due to multiple reasons. Would suggest to check folllowing:
    1. Check the xml file that is getting generated after syndication. You can take it from Outbound/Archive folder. Check if the bank details are appearing in the xml file.
    2. If yes, that means MDM is syndicating data properly. If no check syndication map.
    3. If yes for pt 2, Check in coming Idoc from we02. Does it have the bank details? If not, then if you have used XI, the field mapping would be inncorrect.
I guess, the issue would be in xml getting generated.

  • Hello.  May I ask:  I am using Acrobat 6.0.2, and having trouble formatting a PDF created from multiple (jpeg) files.  Each page is formatted to A4 size, portrait.  But when I create the PDF, each sheet appears as tiny, in the middle of a huge white page.

Hello.  May I ask:  I am using Acrobat 6.0.2, and having trouble formatting a PDF created from multiple (jpeg) files.  Each page is formatted to A4 size, portrait.  But when I create the PDF, each sheet appears as tiny, in the middle of a huge white page.  I cannot seem to find any controls to adjust this.  Any advice appreciated.

Thanks CtDave, for the further info.  Unfortunately, those suggestions are not working, which is strange.
....Until last week, I used to make multi-page PDFs straight from Photoshop: File > Automate > Make PDF.  One simply choses the files, orders them, and creates a PDF.  (Resolution doesn't matter; 300 DPI is no problem.)  However, my new Photoshop CS5 does not have the option in Automate.
What I've done, seeing as Acrobat is letting me down, is use Bridge (new to me) to create the PDF.  It worked without a problem, but seems like more work than the old PS method.  I will download a newer version of Acrobat to see if that makes any difference.
.....Also, thanks Test Screen Name:  I agree with you that jpeg is irrelevant, and that one can make a PDF from Photoshop (Print > Save As - pdf).  But that only works for SINGLE PAGE pdf, not multiple pages as far as I can tell.
    Kind regards,
    Prince Nuada

  • Facing challenges during creation of replica of .IDF file/Pdf output from 4.7 system into of Adobe forms in ECC 6.0 system

Facing challenges during creation of replica of .IDF file/Pdf output from 4.7 system into of Adobe forms in ECC 6.0 system.
If anybody has easy way to make those forms...
    Please suggest...

    Hi Shabeer,
the first thing is that you are running on a very very low RAM.
For ECC 6.0 with dual stack SAP System to run you should have atleast 4 GB of RAM.
For your Dispatcher issue kindly check the status of your Oracle database and the connection from SAP To Database.
You can check the oracle status using brtools utility.

  • How to create jpegs from pdfs without pixellated results

I have been creating jpegs from high quality pdfs (typically 20-30 MB files) of maps (paper dimensions roughly 2 ft by 3 ft) with no problems until this week.  I use the export function in Adobe X Standard and select jpeg.  Did I recently get an update which changed my settings?  Now I notice that sometimes the process generates a progress bar which says it is optimizing the content for the web.  I don't remember seeing this either.  Previous conversions worked great and the jpegs could be blown up on the screen with crisp detail.  Yesterday I did the same process with a new map (I checked it for good resolution and the pdf can be zoomed way in with no loss of resolution). But the resulting jpeg pixellates very quickly when zooming in.  What gives?  It may be possible that this new map (pdf) is in layers.  I think the others were scans of the paper maps.  Does this affect the conversion?  Also noticed that the jpegs now have little lock symbols on them.  Is that related?  I don't think it is, because a map I recently converted has the lock symbol on it and is OK (as a jpeg).  I am converting the pdfs into jpegs so I can import them into Autocad.

As the helpcenter(2005 helpcenter) has missed this bit of documentation (on UserQueries) could someone please provide an example of using this object
    thanks

  • Make pdf files from jpeg and zip files?

how do I make a pdf file from a jpeg or zip file?

You will need Adobe Acrobat or use https://createpdf.acrobat.com/ to make a PDF from JPEG.
ZIP files need to be unzipped before converting the content to PDF.

  • Sending files from MDM

    Hi All,
Is it possible to send files from MDM using syndication/API's. When i say files i mean that if we have arecord in MDM which has a image/pdf stored with it and we want to send this record along with the jpg/pdf to external system-ECC. Can we handle this in MDM

    Hi Manish,
As per my understanding this is not possible to Syndicate images. You can do it only through MDM Data Manager.

  • How to use ADS on SolMan instance and SAP standard PDF forms from ERP

    Hi there
We have installed and configurated the ADS service on our Solution Manager (SolMan) Instance called SD1.
SolMan Info: SAP Solution Manager 7.0; Stack 17; Java-Stack installed; SAP Netweaver 7.0
All ADS test reports can be executed successfully:
    FP_TEST_00
    FP_PDF_TEST_00
We have linked our ERP landscape (e.g. system ED1) to ADS service running on SolMan.
ERP Info: ECC 6.0; Stack 13; no Java-Stack installed
All ADS test reports can be executed successfully:
    FP_TEST_00
    FP_PDF_TEST_00
We want to print PDF documents from SAP standard applications on our ERP landscape. Therefore we want to use standard PDF forms provided by SAP and also available in transaction SFP (e.g. form ISSR_NW670_RX_PDF).
Problem: When we try to create a PDF document from the application we get an error message:
Processing exception during a "Render" operation.#Request start time: Mon Feb 02 13:42:08 CET 2009#com.adobe.ProcessingException: Problem accessing data from Destination: dest:FP_ICF_DATA_ED1//sap/bc/fp/form/layout/ISSR_NW605_PDF.XDP?fp-language=DE&fp-cac
I have also checked the trace (see below) and it seems that the system tries to get the form from the SolMan system and not from the ERP system. But the form is only installed on ERP system.
Are there any ideas how to solve this problem?
    Thanks.

  • Transfer the data from MDM to SAP R/3

    Hi,
I have to transfer the material master data from MDM to R/3.I have syndicated the data and put the file in the .xsd format in the ready folder of the repository. Now I have to transfer this file to R/3 , one way is through XI(XI will pick the file from the current location and an IDOC from there will pass this data to R/3. The other way I was thinking a UNIX script can do it. The UNIX script will run and pick the data from ready folder and pass it to R/3.If somebody of you has done similar thing kindly reply.
    Regards,
    Ashutosh

The best method of integrating MDM with R/3 is to use XI (PI).  There are a couple of reasons for this, but most importantly you can use the IDoc adapter to turn your XML message into an IDoc and send it to R/3.  This has a lot of advantages because IDocs are very easy to monitor, troubleshoot, and reprocess in the event of an error.  IDocs are definitely the preferred method of integration with R/3, therefore using PI is a very good idea.  A few years back I wrote a blog about how to configure XI for an interface between MDM and R/3, perhaps it will help you:
    /people/harrison.holland5/blog/2006/12/20/xi-configuration-for-mdm-integration--sample-scenario
While it is possible to use a batch script, it's not recommended.  You would still have to write a load program (LSMW or some other type of load program) on the R/3 side.  Monitoring and troubleshooting is going to be more cumbersome, because you also have to monitor the message flow on the UNIX system.  If PI is serving as the middleware it does the end-to-end monitoring for you.

  • Cross reference data from 2 different ecc system.

    Hi Sdners,
Iam working on a scenario where i have to get data from two different Ecc system, consolidate them and send it back to their respective system.
But some refernce data in both the systems are different and when iam merging data from 2 system i have to maintain either of the reference data. But problem comes when i syndicate it back to ECC ,it cannot accept a new reference data.
Please suggest me some answere how to proceed in such case.
    Its urgent.
Points will be rewarded for Genuine answeres.
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,
    Neethu.

    Hi,
First enable keymapping property to YES  for the table which you want to do
    importing and syndicatig.
Create two remote systems type inbound/outbound .
Import the data from first remote system and map the corresponding fields.
Don't forget to map the remotekey field which is on the destination side.Make clone
of one of the dispaly field and map to the remote key field.
After importing you can see the records from which remote system are imported
using Edit Key Mappings option in DataManager. It shows that remotesystem
    name and corresponding remote key.
Do the same for second remote system too.
After merging data in data manager , you can see the merged record and see the
two remote systems names and two remote keys by using Edit Key Mappings
option so the merged record goes back to both remote systems when you syndicate
    the records.
Syndicate the data from first remote system by selecting destination properties and
output remote system property under map properties tab as your first remote
    system.
Do the mapping for corresponding fields and don't forget to map the value field under
remote key .Then MDM generates remote keys for only records belongs to your
first remote system. You can see this in destination preview. It does n't genarate
remote keys for second remote system. Then check the option Suppress records
without key under map properties tab and execute the syndication. Finally we can
    see the accurate records.
Do the same for second remote system too.
    Hope it helps
    Cheers
    Narendra
