I've found how it is supposed to work - using CalDAV:

Unfortunately, this does not work - my password, which I'm quite sure I'm entering correctly, is repeatedly rejected.
I've found other online threads reporting the same problem, but no resolution.

You may need to remove the old account from the list of calendar servers in Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendars.

  • How to push calendar events from iPhone to Google Calendar

I have successfully setup google calendars to sync with my phone and created a test event on google calendar website and it correctly pushed to my phone.
Now, my question is will the events that I already created natively on the iphone while under the Microsoft Outlook calendar push back to google calendars to where I can see them on the website? Will I have to go in and recreate while in specifically the Exchange google calendar or will they push back if I'm in the "All Calendars" view and create an event?
One last thing, I have not synced the phone with itunes yet since activating google calendar sync. Is that required?
Sorry if this is all confusing. I'm just learning the calendar thing for the phone.
    Thanks in advance!

I had all sorts of headaches trying to get this to work. But yes, you can do a 1-way sync from Outlook to Google Calendars to make sure Google has ALL your events. You then turn on sync on the iPhone, so the three are in sync.
What I did (do not try this at home ) is I deleted my Google Calendar and turned off sync on the iPhone (deleting the calendar data from my iPhone). I started with ONE source of appoinments. I then removed/reinstalled the Google sync app on my PC and initiated a 1-way sync from Outlook to Google. Now Google had a brand new calendar with all my appointments. I then turned on 2-way sync between my PC and Google. Next step, turn on calendar sync on the iPhone. That way all the appointments from Google (which are all the appointments from Outlook) downloaded onto my iPhone. Voila!

  • Why can't I sync my calender from iPhone to Gmail ?

It had worked a long time but this week. I don't change any setting in my iPhone. I tried to enable/disable the canlender of Exchange/iCloud/Gmail, it steal doesn't work. Please help me ! Thanks !

I'm having the same issue and the books I'm wanting to sync are checked. It worked on previous audiobooks that I had. In fact, I just finished the two that I had loaded and want to load two more. I only keep two books (4 files) on the device to conserve space. I'm using an iPhone 4 with iOS 4.3.3. there is 3GB free on the iPhone and I don't get any errors when syncing. My music is syncing fine and the books that unchecked were removed from my phone.
I just tried to resync with one of the books that had previously been on my phone. It will not reload on there either. Here's a screen shot of iTunes and below that is the screen shot from my phone after syncing. Thanks for any help.

  • No record of mail sent from iPhone on Gmail server

When I send mail from my Gmail account on my iPhone, I can't find record of it in my Gmail account when I log on from my computer. This results in me sometimes sending emails twice, because I can't see that I've already responded. Can anyone help please?
    Tech specs:
    iPhone 3GS
I have my Gmail pushed to my iPhone inbox instead of logging on
    Thank you!

You decide how to set gmail up as "pop" or "imap" on the gmail site:
    https://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLogin?service=mail&passive=true&rm=false& continue=https%3A%2F%2Fmail.google.com%2Fmail%2F%3Fnsr%3D1%26ui%3Dhtml%26zy%3Dl& ltmpl=default&ltmplcache=2&hl=en
    Then go to "settings", "forwardingandPOP/IMAP"
    Gmail works best as imap.
These are the best instructions I've seen to set gmail up & have it work properly:
    http://complexdiagrams.com/2009/01/19/imap-for-gmail-mailapp-iphone/
Follow the instructions mentioned in comment no.1 regarding drafts. If you set gmail up this way, it will work.

  • Move calendar info FROM iphone TO windows calendar

Apologies if this has been answered. I've spent ages googling and searching here, but I can't seem to find an exact answer.
Although I may be the exception to the rule:
    1. I do not want all of my windows mail contacts in my iphone (2nd gen). Therefore those have been input manually.
I did take the time to set up my 2009 calendar ON MY IPHONE. My windows calendar (vista home premium) has not been used.
It is possible to moe my calendar info TO WINDOWS CALENDAR from the IPHONE? I can see syncing info, but it seems to override the phone, and on music etc...not the calendar.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

If she can't, it's a pretty sad statement about interoperability of Google's products.
Take a look at the help pages at http://www.google.com/calendar.
This really doesn't have anything to do with the iPhone.

  • ICal puts duplicate entries to iPhone to Gmail calendar...new events..etc

I am sure everyone has done this before. Create a new event on iCal and then decided to remove it, right?
Well, until recently, I start seeing new event on my iPhone4 after each sync even though I deleted them completely on iCal.
I gather apple has introduce this nasty bug in their latest update. This is so frustrating as I have to manually delete all those new events on the iPhone4.

I'm assuming you are meaning via the iphone? Yes, to enable the feature you must set up the gmail account via Miscrosoft Exchange instead of selecting "Google Mail" on the set up screen. Use m.google.com as the server and everything else should be self explanatory.

  • Sync Contacts from iPhone to Gmail

I am trying to get it so that the contacts on my phone sync with the contacts in my Gmail. I tried configuring from iTunes and it does not work. I also tried creating a new exchange account and that did not work either.

  • SMS and/or email notifications from iPhone/iPod Touch calendar(s)

My wife and I have iPod Touch's that we use to sync 2 calendars. Is there ANY way to get SMS or email notifications of an event?
By syncing google calendar it will work ONLY if the event is created via google calendar - it won't work if it's created on the iPod.
I bought GoCal which says it has this feature, but I couldn't get it to work.
If i could get email notification i could just setup a filter to forward only those emails to my verizon dumb phones email address.
The point of this is to have a calendar that stays in sync, but we don't have our iPods with us every minute of the day. . . so we need the sms alert of the event.

    Thank you very much

  • How do I turn off notifications for shared GMail calendars?

I use GMail and have several shared calendars for work. I have added these calendars to iCal on my iPhone 5 running iOS8. Through iCal, I have the settings so that only 2 calendars from my shared GMail calendars show up on my phone, however, there is one un-checked calendar (that has a daily event) that notifies me every single day of the event the next day! There are no alerts set for these events on the Google Calendar settings and the calendar isn't even supposed to show up on my phone's calendar, yet I'm still notified. Any ideas how to fix this or is it just a bug?
    Thanks,
    Jessie

settings > notifications and then turn off all Apps' notification you have in your Newsstand

  • Forward events to my iCalendar on mac from subscribed Gmail calendar

On my iPhone, I subscribe to my husband's gmail calendar. I see the events he invites me to. However, I do not see them on my macbook's iCalendar (I use iCloud). How do I forward those events on my iPhone to my iCalendar? (There is no edit button in the top right corner)

What version of Mac OS X are you running? If it's 10.7 or later, it's because your Calendars (and Contacts for that matter) are stored in "the cloud" (Apple's iCloud). In order to have the Calendars actually stored on your local hard drive, you need to head to System Preferences -> iCloud and turn off Calendars.
Then resync your iPod after verifying that it is configured to sync your Calendars from under its Info configuration tab in iTunes.
