Synonyms on call? and Dates (iWork 06)

is there an easy way go get Synonyms or a Thesaurus in pages?
I like editing in pages but in Mac word all you have to do is right click and there are a list of Synonyms and when clicked on insert instead of the current word.
Is this option available in pages instead of trawling through dictionaries of key commands then command v & command c ETC?
Also how do you get the little th to appear after a date is entered?
like 19th <~~ how do i get the "th" to go small like in word

If you go to System Preferences > Keyboard & Mouse > Keyboard shortcuts, you can add a shortcut for an application. You must select Pages as the application, then type in the exact name of the menu command (Look Up in Dictionary and Thesaurus). Then you can type in a shortcut of choice. I used shift+F7, which is the shortcut in Word.

The limitation of voice and data at the same time is that of the CDMA network, not the iphone. A new iphone will not change this.

ColdFusion Remote Service Calls and Dates

Hi all, I'm hoping someone can help me out with my confusion. I’m sending an object including datetime data from ColdFusion to a Flash application. The datetime in the ColdFusion object include milliseconds, however, if I use the getTime() function on the Date object in the Flex application, the milliseconds have been zeroed out. Is there any way to retain the milliseconds when the data is passed through the flexgateway?

I have attached a demo of my proxy webservice called pxTest.cfc. pxTest.cfc contains two functions, testDate and pushBackTestDate. I also attached a simple Flex App called testDate.mxml. And a Test file called test.cfm.
Save pxTest.cfc to your CFC folder. Create a new project called TestDate. Go to the data/services tab, click "Connect to Data/Service" and select Data Service ColdFusion. Browse to PxTest.cfc and select it for the CFC location. Click Next, then click Finish. Configure ReturnType as Date for both pushBackTestDate and testDate. Paste the code from TestDate.mxml into the blank TestDate.mxml file that was created when you created the project TestDate. Run the TestDate.mxml application.
On load of the application a date was requested and received from pxTest.cfc. Click Confirm Test Date and note the date returned, and the milliseconds value for that date. Next click Push User Data back, this will call the method pushBackTestDate sending the date from the Flex app back into CF. All pushBackTestDate does is set the value returned into session and return it back to the Flex app again.
Click the button Show Pushed Data Result to see the date that was returned. In my tests this date no longer has a value for milliseconds. As long as pxTest.cfc and test.cfm run in the same session you will be able to see the dates sent and returned by running test.cfm. The dump of that session variable and time formatted versions of that variables are displayed below:

TimeFormat Returned 12:57:50 0
Note the date sent contains milliseconds, the date returned does not have milliseconds. Hopefully this demo will work for you and demonstrate the issue. Please let me know if you need more information.

Is it possible to setup for 2G calls and 3G data?

Is it possible to setup my iPhone 3G for the following:
- 2G primary mode for calls as 2G coverage is usually better for calls.
- 3G on a adhoc basis for data on a need to basis.
Looking through the settings page, there is only one selection for 2G or 3G. If 3G is selected, calls and data will be 3G only.

You can manually turn 3G off so that the phone is in Edge mode all the time and then turn 3G on when you surf. There is no automated way to accomplish this, although many have requested this would be a great feature. Personally, I get great battery life leaving my phone on 3G, so I no longer manually toggle between the 2. 2.0.1 and 2.0.2 have been good for me.

Iphone 5s cannot call out any calls, but still can receive incoming calls and sms

anyone experiencing this problem? After buying iphone 5s less than 2 months which I never did in the past, I could no longer make any phone calls out, yet i still can receive incoming calls and data.
Could someone kindly assist in this?

Contact your carrier. Phone functions are a carrier responsibility. Have them check your account. Are you seeing any error messages?

BPEL and data translation

Does the bpel layer do auto data translation, e.g. via xslt? That is, the output from one WS call is typically fed as input to another call and data may need formatting/translation/unit scaling/etc.

Difference between cellular/voice network and data network?

Hey guys, so I'm trying to learn this, any help would be greatly appreciated.
What is the difference between cellular networks (I assume voice calls) and data networks (sending and recieving data, like using apps, etc.) for each of the different carriers?
I tried researching this up, but with absolutely no luck. Any help towards understanding cellular networks and the difference if any between it and data networks would be helpful! If you can point me in the right direction, it would help too!
Also, in the presence of a voice network but no data network, can data still be transmitted? Any values for speed for the major carriers?

When iPhone is on Cellular data and WiFi, i cannot make calls and phone goes out of service.

So I have this iPhone 5S unlocked version from the US which I am using in India. When I am connected to my office wireless and also the cellular & 3G data are switched on, my phone goes out of service and I cannot make calls. I can also use internet.
However this works great when I get onto my home WiFi along with cellular & 3G data switched on, I can make calls and also surf the net with the WiFi.
Is anyone having similar issue? I am sure there is something with the office WiFi but what could it be to get my phone out of service.
Any thoughts anybody ?

Yes I shutdown WiFi and I can connect to 3G on Cellular. I can make calls.
If I shutdown Cellular and connect WiFi. I can make calls.
Its just that when both are ON, then no calls can be made.
All combinations work good with Home WiFi.

Sounds like a hardware failure.
Make an appointment at the genius bar and take it in for them to look at. It will probably need to be replaced.

I made the change online since I had been waiting on the phone for over 10 minutes for a customer service rep to come available. Well when I made the change online since that seems to be the thing that Verizon wants it's customers to do and I didn't see all the different plans available and just did the upgrade to 8g. Next bill had over $900 in roaming charges on her phone line. I called the 1-800 number and waiting for a service rep and after 20 minutes of waiting and being put on hold was told it was the customers mistake and there was nothing they could do.Thanks for nothing. I called back after thinking about it and wondered why changing a data plan for the phones in the US would change a international call plan. Waiting over 10 minutes again between waiting for a service rep and hold for one to answer the call. Gave her all the information about it and she said she would call back. Well, 4 days later over the weekend she had nevered called back. So on the phone again for the third time and after 20 plus minutes again was told that when I did it online I click the plan that didn't include international call only the data plan. Explained that I never saw the difference in the plan packages so put on hold again and was told that they could credit $100 to my bill. Wow, thanks alot !!! We have been Verizon customers for probably atleast 12 years and this is how you treat your long term customers?

I still can't be on a phone call and use data without wifi on my Droid Turbo. I thought this was going to be fixed by late November.

I am so disappointed. I am a long time Droid user and research the Droid Turbo for several months before purchasing. I even read the reviews that indicated that there was a issue when attempting to use the phone calling feature and data at the same time. I called Verizon and talked with a rep. who indicated that he had the new phone and assured me that this issue had been fixed. Unfortunately, when I received the phone this was not the case. Even an update shortly after purchase still did not fix this issue. All of my Droids before this did not have this issue...how can a newer more improved phone? I even called Motorola and the English of the representative was so bad that I could not overcome the language barrier therefore no solution was reached. Wish I had my Razr HD back :{

I can understand the concern CCONLEY. Go to Settings>Advanced Calling> and select Activate Advanced Calling or contact Customer Service to get the features added. Once added Reboot device and go back to Setting>Advanced Calling>and ensure the Advanced Calling switch is set to On. Ensure you are in a 4G LTE service area and test again. E90 Missing (fax) modem and data calls

Hi all
I read in a couple of other threads that there is no (fax) modem in the E90. Is this why I cannot get datacalls to work? I can quite happily get data calls to work on a 9110, 9110i, 9300i, but not on an E90, all with the same sim and details.
This seems a little strange, because there is a section for setting up datacalls to enter all the deatils for the call. I asked a question earlier if anyone has got data calls to work, but got no responses.

I just called Best data and they said the problem is that the software does not work with osx 10.4.9, they do not have any updated scripts for it and do not know if they ever will.. duhh.....
