  • What is the SYNTAX for the user and group filters??? Is the HTML Ampersand token Amper A m p semicolon required in the filter

There seems to be quite a bit of confusion over the actual syntax for the user and group filters on the Forms Based Authentication  Ldap Role and membership providers.. MSFT isn't really clear and there is a universal confusion in the blogsphere.
I the filters should the prefix be the ACTUAL Ampersand or the HTML token for an AMPERSAND.. I realize the in many cases the blogger might have inadvertently specified the html token when the bare naked ampersand was intended..   The question
therefore is : can a filter be taken directly from and ADSIEdit query and used as a filter or must the filter be made HTML safe by swapping out the AMERSAND with the HTML Token for AMERSAND before putting it into the configuration
    for the LDAPRole/membership provider...

    Hi GUYO,
I am not quite sure how we implement this on sharepoint side, as I did research and sharepoint may not have this feature to do this.
most of the LDAP for sharepoint may need to follow these steps in this article:

  • What is the syntax for the mdx offset in universe designer?

    Hi everybody!!!
I wish someone could help me with my mdx syntax. I made an universe with Universe designer (BOEdge 3.1) from a BW query and I'm trying to create in this universe an object with an offset.
My new object has to be the result of the [0CALYEAR].[LEVEL01] with "- 1" offset, is it possible???
I tried to put the code in the select or in the where fields of the object but without results. When I try to make a query in webi rich client this "new object" doesn't work...
    Please help me...
    Dario

    Hi Ingo,
    thank you for the reply.
I tried to use that document...the problem is when I put the code in the object (inside univ des) and I analyse the code using the button, the syntax is every time without errors. When I try to make the query in webi rich client , if I use that object the software shows a window with error.
I used these code in the "where" field:
    1. <EXPRESSION>@SELECT([0CALYEAR].[LEVEL01])-1</EXPRESSION>
    2. <EXPRESSION>@SELECT(Anno calendario\L01 Anno calendario)-1</EXPRESSION>
the problem is to find the right syntax for what I want...the -1 offset for the new object from the OCALYEAR. I need that if in webi I select from the object filter [0CALYEAR].[LEVEL01] the value 2010 - in the new object will be 2009 etc...

  • Is it possible to have the synthesizer interfaces for the included LOGIC PRO synths in MainsStage as a standalone?

I recently purchased MainStage as they included the instruments from Logic Pro and In the help files it shows the LOGIC synths with the nice GUIs for each included synth; but it seems you have to recreate all of the parameter controls for each synth if using only MainStage as I can not find how to view the synthesizer interfaces.  Does anyone know if this is the case or is there a way to tweak the synths using the nice already layed-out interfaces that are in Logic?

  • Syntax for the macro - request suggestions...

    Dear All, Good morning..
I request your help in craking the below issue..
    <i><b>Description:</b></i>
Calculation of a KF based on the following formula:
    <b>Dlr Inv(M01/2007)= Max( ( sp.plan(m01/2007)+Dlr Inv(M12/2006) ) ; Threshold Dlr Inv(M01/2007) )- Un constrained sales( M01/2007)</b>
If you observe in the above calculation, for calculating current month Dlr Inv, we are using previous months Dlr Inv..OK.
<i><b>Requiremet:</b></i> Calculation of the above , plus, the above calculation may produce a negative number...So, when there is negative number generated in the curent month calculation, i should make it to zero, display zero and carry  that zero for next months calculation...
I wrote a macro, which is doing above calculation perfectly(as it is simple )...except carrying zero to next month's calculation...As long as the above calculation is generating positive value, there is no issue at all..
<i><b>Issue:</b></i> In some cases , the above formula results a negative number, in that case, i am able to make it zero,  and able to carry that zero for next calculation, if the negative is generated for the first column..problem is , if there is any negative generated in between, let us say, for  June/2006,  then its making it zero, but that zero is displayed for the subsequent months from there onwards, irrespective of  the result is positive or negative..If i chage any number at that period for any KF, and execute macro, then it is working..Here i used auxiliary row...
I have written 3  macros with diff logic...If you want i can post them again ....
I would like to know the following things regarding macro syntax..
<b>1)Can we go for a condition after a result in the same step...?
    </b>
    <b>Example:
    Step:(M01/2007-M12/2007)(12 iterations)
    Row 1= Row2 -Row 3
    IF
    Row 1 < 0
    Row 1 = 0
    ENDIF</b>
If i execute IF condition in another step,It won't serve my purpose because, it comes to second step after completing all iterations in first step...I want , <b>IF</b> condtion to be checked after the first iteration..
In my case, macro successfully activated  but no result for that condition..It is executed only up to result for the first time when i tested in Utilities--->test Macros..in the macro builder..if i execute it for the second time, then it gives result..Surprised..!!!
    2) <b>Is it possible to write syntax in the following way..</b>
    IF
    (condition)
    ( Row  1 + Row 2) < 0
    ResulT : Row 3=0
    In my case,
    It is not accepting +, - .....
    Kindly suggest...
I am confident that i crack this with your mighty help..
    Thanks for reading..

    HI Vinayak,
    Thanks very much for responding..
I appreciate your reply and time spent on this...
Your solution goes to indefinate internal loop..
In your solution, Vi-2 is the previuos years cell ref: which again needs calculation...
Your solution works good if i have to use current motns calculation of one  KF in another...
    say
    A= B+C;(current month)
D=AE( current momth)...then instead of AE, better we use, D=(BC) E...Actually i am not facing any problem in taking the previous months updated value...i am facing problem with IF loop in case of negative...
I will try your option and come back to you...

  • Exact syntax for the LDAP Username Edit Function

    Hi,
I have followed the How-To on setting up LDAP as an authentication method but I am having trouble specifying the "Username Edit Function".
I have a database table which contains a list of user email addresses and associated distinguished name (dn) as stored in an external LDAP...I populated this table using DBMS_LDAP. I want to allow the user to enter his/her email address and email password and execute a small lookup function (GET_DISTINGUISHED_NAME) to fetch the corresponding DN and pass it along to the built-in LDAP authentication.
I have tried several things to get this to work such as:
    "get_distinguished_name(p_username)" - Returns ERR-10412 and then ORA-06550: line 2, column 1: PLS-00801: internal error [22503] ORA-06550: line 2, column 1: PL/SQL: Statement ignored.
    "get_distinguished_name(p_username);" - same as above.
and so on. Rather than list each and every attempt here, could someone tell me what the syntax should be for specifying this function call?
    Thanks in advance,
    Ted

    Hi, Sergio
Thanks for this. I had read the "Using LDAP for Login Authentication" document but I guess I did not correctly understand the "Enter 'return your_function;'" instruction properly...I thought I had to pass p_username as a parameter to my function. After ensuring that "p_username" was the name of the parameter in my function definition, I hit another error but another post in this forum showed me how to fix that issue (Re: Error ERR-10416 Error executing wwv_flow_custom_auth_ldap.authenticate Nov 20, 2003 5:24 PM ) and I am now able to get the LDAP Tool to authenticate okay.
Do you think I can dynamically set the value for the "LDAP Host" field? We actually have two different email systems (results of a recent merger) and I'll need to find a way to have my LDAP authentication go against one or the other, depending upon what organization they were originally from. I can get this LDAP Host IP Address from my database tables but I am not sure how I could set it within the Authentication Scheme. Could I do something in the "Pre-Authentication Process"?

  • How to find the tcode for the include's in user exit

    Hi
I wanted to find the tcode for the given include name in the user exit.
Can you pls help in this regard
    Regards
    Madhan Doraikannan

    Hello Madhan,
Usually the include in the user exit is part of a function group which directly may not fetch u tcode. So the best option is..
    1. Get the FM name and check the table modsap. This will give u the enhancement name and related information which can help u with the tcode.
    2. to use the where used option which will lead you though multiple program till u reach the main program where u can search for transaction.
e.g say u r trying to search include ZXM06U41  which exists in the FM EXIT_SAPMM06E_016. Now if u do a where used for this FM it will show program name MM06EF0C_CUSTSCR1_ITEM_SET_D03 if u again go for where used it will show u MM06EF0C. now if u click of the Display object list in the toolbar u will get the list of tcodes also.

  • In Air iOS, what is the path for the included folder which is above .fla file folder?

I have "assets" folder above "src" folder where .fla file is. The assets folder is included via Air iOS publish setting in Adobe Flash CS6 Professional but I'm having trouble accessing it.
the directory structure looks like this. Main.as is the document class for my project.
    c:
      /project
        /assets
        /bin
        /lib
        /src
          /Main.as
          /Main.fla
Now if the project was an action script project, I can normally access the assets folder by using a path like "../assets". But in Air for iOS project, it says the folder isn't there.
In the Air iOS publish setting window, it says the included folder path is "c:\project\assets" whereas when I move the assets folder under src folder it just says "assets" and then it can be accessed simply by using a path like "\assets".
Does anyone have an idea where the included folder is placed?

Thanks for the reply. I've tried these with nativePath property but it doesn't seem to work. I've also tried passing different path like "project/assets", "../project/assets", etc.
Normally, I'd just move "assets" folder to "src" folder but the problem is the assets folder contains like 10k files and it would slow down the Flash compiler. as it seems like Flash is scanning every file under its directory.

  • USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT for the include MV50AFZ1

    Hello Experts,
I have query in which i have maintained one ztable , Now i have to select the fields vbeln, werks, matnr , lfimg from lips and lifnr, parvw, kunnr from vbpa table such that which ever partner function is found in VBPA from the below entries LIFNR = VBPA-LIFNR , for partner function u201CVBPA-PARVWu201D as u201CFAu201D or u201CVNu201D or KUNNR= VBPA-KUNNR for partner function u201CVBPA-PARVWu201D as u201CSP.
Based on it we have to Pass in the Z-Table and compare the table data for

    u2022 WERKS with LIPS-WERKS
    u2022 MATNR with LIPS- MATNR
u2022 LIFNR or KUNNR with VBPA-LIFNR or VBPA-KUNNR
u2022 LFIMG should not be greater than ZQUNTY u2013 ZCUQNTY, if this is the case then system give error u201CQuantity exceeds u2013Dispatch Planu201D
On saving or at the time of PGI, ZCUQNTY should be updated with the delivered quantity (LEIMG).
If an entry does not match with the Z-Table key parameter, then system should allow saving the delivery.
I am a fresher abaper and dotn know much about enhancements, i have made tmg also for this ztable in which events has been declared.

  • Syntax for adding the file type

    Hi,
I am trying to add the file type source in the SES server. The SES server is running on a remote machine and I try to add the file directory on the local machine as a source. Could someone give me the syntax please. Also is there a link which helps me with the syntaxes for the different sources in SES.
    Thanks

Is this on Windows? Handling remote file crawls on Windiows can be a bit tricky.
    If so, then:
1/ You should to use a UNC-style path to the file, eg \\servername\share\folder\. It will automatically get converted to a FILE url. (Or you can directly specify the file URL). You can't use a "drive letter shortcut".
2/ You need to make sure that the owner of the Oracle database service (normally called "OracleServiceSES") has access to the shared file system. The service is started by the "Local System" user by default, which does NOT have access to remote file systems. See the NTFS crawler section in the admin guide for more info.
3/ The connection to the share must be automatic (eg via Active Directory) for the user running the Oracle database service. If, when you access a UNC file path on the server it prompts for a username and password, this isn't going to work.
If you want to directly enter the URL, the syntax is (non-obviously)
    file://localhost///servername/share/folder
Note "localhost" is not a placeholder. You need to ALWAYS put "localhost" in there, regardless of the server you are accessing. And note that there are three slashes after it.

  • Question on syntax for role portion (LH side) of the credential

I am concerned about syntax for the role portion (the stuff to the left of the "@" sign). Specifically, what are the illegal characters? Can I use dashes and periods? And I presume I can intermix alpha and numeric characters, and I need to know if that's not the case.
    Thanks,
    Rob

That's a little complicated ... there are multiple layers to consider.
Firstly, recall where credentials go ... they go in iTunes U URL (URI) query component. WIthin the query component of any URI, certain characters are reserved. Those characters are:
    From RFC 2396:
The query component is a string of information to be interpreted by
    the resource.
    query = *uric
    Within a query component, the characters ";", "/", "?", ":", "@",
    "&", "=", "+", ",", and "$" are reserved.
So you'll want to avoid those characters outright. In addition, there are characters that are not allowed (or have special meanings within) any URI (again I refer you to RFC 2396).
My suggestion would be to apply the same rules as would apply to a variable within most programming languages ... you're safest if you stick to alphanumerics and the underscore, start with an alphabetic character.
Recall, too, that while you use roles in whatever way makes most sense for your site, the intention is to use that slot as, well, a "role" ... you should be able to define that simply, in most cases, without the need for special characters. A "role" would be something like "Student" or "Instructor" or "Visitor" or "Guest" or "Actor" or "Producer" or "Editor" or "Dean" or "VideoProductionAssistant" or "Administrator" ... think of a role not so much as who somebody "is" within iTunes U, rather think of it as the place to describe what a person "does" within iTunes U. I suspect ... and I could be wrong ... but I suspect that the reason you're asking about special characters is because you want to create a role-per-user at your site ... and you want to make sure your rules for usernames will map to what's allowed in the role slot.

  • Syntax for a Formula in VC 7.0

    Hi
Could you please help me with the Syntax for the formula for a
    Field Default value.
In VC 7.0 for my model i created a Global List for Products.
In the Variables form i had a Combo Box
Now my requirment is to include a Formula for Default Value from the entry list
Could you please update me with the syntax i can use
The Default Value i need is (Product1 and Product 2 ) from the created Global product list
I am trying from Entry list
    'Product1' ; 'Product2'
    It is showing syntax error
    Thanks in advance

    Hi
You have to use the following expression "Product1;Product2" (Expression which you said is wrong). You have to enter 'Technical Name' for product 1 & 2 in that expression. Also make sure the variable which you are using for this combo box, accepts multiple values. The variable should be of 'Interval' or 'Multiple single options' type.
If still you are getting error, then tell the exact error message you are getting.

  • Nano syntax highlighting: catch-all syntax for configuration files

After years of using nano, I only recently learned that it supports syntax coloring... (Why would they turn that off by default? ) Well, I thought I'll make up for it by making extra good use of it from now on...
Unfortunately it didn't ship a highlighting syntax for the the kind of files that I use nano the most for: system configuration files.
So I wrote my own, and after tweaking a bit here and there whenever I encountered a config file for which the highlighting wasn't satisfactory at first, I think the result is now good enough (screenshots below) that it's worth sharing with my fellow Arch users:
    Code & Instructions:
    Here is the syntax definition:
    # config file highlighting
    syntax "conf" "(\.(conf|config|cfg|cnf|rc|lst|list|defs|ini|desktop|mime|types|preset|cache|seat|service|htaccess)$|(^|/)(\w*crontab|mirrorlist|group|hosts|passwd|rpc|netconfig|shadow|fstab|inittab|inputrc|protocols|sudoers)$|conf.d/|.config/)"
    # default text
    color magenta "^.*$"
    # special values
    icolor brightblue "(^|\s|=)(default|true|false|on|off|yes|no)(\s|$)"
    # keys
    icolor cyan "^\s*(set\s+)?[A-Z0-9_\/\.\%\@+-]+\s*([:]|\>)"
    # commands
    color blue "^\s*set\s+\<"
    # punctuation
    color blue "[.]"
    # numbers
    color red "(^|\s|[[/:|<>(){}=,]|\])[-+]?[0-9](\.?[0-9])*%?($|\>)"
    # keys
    icolor cyan "^\s*(\$if )?([A-Z0-9_\/\.\%\@+-]|\s)+="
    # punctuation
    color blue "/"
    color brightwhite "(\]|[()<>[{},;:=])"
    color brightwhite "(^|\[|\{|\:)\s*-(\s|$)"
    # section headings
    icolor brightyellow "^\s*(\[([A-Z0-9_\.-]|\s)+\])+\s*$"
    color brightcyan "^\s*((Sub)?Section\s*(=|\>)|End(Sub)?Section\s*$)"
    color brightcyan "^\s*\$(end)?if(\s|$)"
    # URLs
    icolor green "\b(([A-Z]+://|www[.])[A-Z0-9/:#?&$=_\.\-]+)(\b|$| )"
    # XML-like tags
    icolor brightcyan "</?\w+((\s*\w+\s*=)?\s*("[^"]*"|'[^']*'|!?[A-Z0-9_:/]))*(\s*/)?>"
    # strings
    color yellow "\"(\\.|[^"])*\"" "'(\\.|[^'])*'"
    # comments
    color white "#.*$"
    color blue "^\s*##.*$"
    color white "^;.*$"
    color white start="<!--" end="-->"
To install, save the above above code snippet as a file called conf.nanorc in the folder /usr/share/nano/ (or /usr/local/share/nano/ or similar if you feel strongly about the /usr <--> /usr/local separation), and then add the following to the end of the file /etc/nanorc:
    ## Configuration files (catch-all syntax)
    include "/usr/share/nano/conf.nanorc"
    Hints:
The colors I chose look good (imo) with the terminal background and color settings that I use, but might not look good, or even readable, with yours, so simply change the color names in the code snippet to whatever you prefer - valid color names are:
If you use a console with white background, you'll have to change at least the white color I chose for comments and punctuation.
The first code line in the snippet includes a regular expression that defines for which file names this syntax highlighting should be used. Whenever you encounter a config file that is not matched by this, but you would still like to open it with syntax highlighting, you can manually select this syntax with nano's -Y switch, like so:
    nano -Y conf myConfigFile
    Technical Note:
It's implemented as a single catch-all syntax, since nano chooses which syntax to apply based on the filename, and in the case of config files usually not much can be learned about the content format from the file name extension (.conf can by anything from flat key/value tuples to XML, .ini can be the official INI format or something else, etc...).
This means that some compromises have been made, so with this highlighting syntax probably no config file looks 100% as good as a highlighting syntax that would be specifically optimized for one kind of config format, but all in all the vast majority of config files should look pretty good.
    Screenshots:
    /etc/rc.conf,  /etc/hosts:
    /etc/pacman.conf,  /etc/group:
    xorg.conf,  some .desktop file:

    You mean GNU makefiles?
I'm afraid they might be out of scope for this generic config-file syntax.
Logically they're not system config files, and technically they're a pretty specialized and complex format (different "types" of rules, rules spanning multiple lines, rules containing arbitrary Bash code, etc.).
This is how an .mk file currently looks with this highlighting syntax:
    $ nano -Y conf /usr/lib/httpd/build/rules.mk
And apart from highlighting variables of the form $$abc or $(abc), I'm not sure how much can be improved here without breaking the highlighting for more conventional config files.
It would probably be better to create a specialized highlighting syntax just for .mk files.
EDIT: I sat down and did just that, here's the result: nano syntax highlighting: GNU makefiles, and here is how the above makefile snipped looks with it:

      INCLUDE ZXF08U10.
Here is the code for the include program.
      INCLUDE ZXF08U10
    MOVE febvw_in TO febvw_out.

Sometimes you will get this error message when checking include code in exits even though there is really no error - it happens because the include does not realise it is in the function due to the navigation index being out of date.
Try activating the code - it may work even though the check said there were errors.
You can also get this issue when trying to drill down on the field in the include to view its structure.

  • How do I find out the base dir for the current workspace ? Change?

Assume I took over a colleagues JDeveloper installation.
How can I find out the base dir for his JDevelopers workspace?
Can I change this workspace base dir afterwards/later (without
problems for the included sources and projects) ?
Where can I change it ?
I did not found an option in the settings?

If you hover your mouse over the workspace you'll see the directory where the jws file is stored.
For each project in the workspace you can go to the project properties and look up information in the content node of the preference - there you can also change the location preferences for where code is created.
