    i have some scenarios runnnig in my system, some scenarios are failing due to queue STOP,
    when i click the queue name from the MONI, it shows that three queues namely XBTI007, XBTI003, XBTI004 are in SYSFAIL status,
    when i cllick those queues, i find some 1000 entries in each of the queue,
    the topmost entry shows that qRFC SXMS_ASYNC_EXEC failed due to
    reason: COMMIT/ROLLBACK error on "DEFAULT" database connection...
    there are many scenarios getiing stuck but i could find that the a particular scenarios qRFC execution lead to the error,
    but since all the scenarios are getting stuck ....
    wat action can i take....
    if i select the entry with sysfail status and activate the queue, will it hamper something...
    will data loss happen??
    pls help...its in production system

    Dhar,
    SMQ2 is for outbound queue and SMQ1 is inbound queue. If you are getting the messages into XI then check in SMQ1 for any errors in XI and if you are sending out from XI then see SMQ2. Check this help for some more information on this:

  • SYSFAIL - Queue problem

    Hello,
    I have an integration scenario wherein I am sending a xml message to XI and in XI the message is mapped to 2 idocs and sent to 2 different R/3 systems.
    When I run the test in the Runtime Workbench and give the payload with the Quality of Service as Exactly Once(EO) it runs perfectly and creates the idocs in the backend systems. --- Scenario 1
    But when I send the xml message from the sender system the Quality of Service I get is Exactly Once In Order (EOIO) and eventually after the mapping and branching the message gets stuck in the outbound queue with status SYSFAIL. --- Scenario 2
    The difference I see in the SXMB_MONI is that the queue id after branching for the scenario 1 is that the is changed to XBTOC and XBTOD but in scenario 2 the queue ids after branching have the prefix as SAP_ALE_ which in my opinion is not a valid queue id prefix.
    Could you please tell me how to rectify this? This is very crucial and urgent.

       Unfortunately the xml message is created by a framework and I cannot change the QOS. Is there any way that I can make XI believe that the QOS is EO rather than EOIO.

  • SYSFAIL queues "User is locked. Please notify the person responsible"

    Hi Experts,
    We have noticed a recurrent scenario in all of our CRM 5.0 environments, where sales/service documents (and other queues, for instance WFM Update queues) remain in SYSFAIL either in SMQ1 Outbound or in SMQ2 Inbound queues.
    These queues show the error "User is locked. Please notify the person responsible." or "User does not exist".
    We have identified that the reason why they remain with SYSFAIL, is that they were recently editted by a Login that was either LOCKED or REMOVED from CRM. So, as a workaround, we have either unlocked or restored the ID temporarily and reprocessed the queues.
    However, is there any permanent solution to prevent this from happening? We do not have a proactive way to identify this before it actually happens. Why would the queues be processed by the older login (the one removed/locked) while that IC Agent is not displayed anymore in the "Partners" tab from the affected document?
    Any suggestion / comment will be appreciated.

    Hi Florencia,
    I guess the RFC connection used for the replication (either in tx SMOEAC in CRM or in table CRMRFCPAR in ECC) is not correctly configured in SM59. Normally you would use a RFC connection with a replication user assigned (SAP proposes user ALEREMOTE for this). If you setup your RFC this way, the replication will always be carried out using that user.

  • Queue Stopped, messages not getting processed

    Hello Experts,
    From the pst three days, my XI server is running slowly. All the messages are having the status green. When we check the queues, all the messages are stuck there and the error displayed is SYSFAIL (Queue stopped). If I try to execute the LUW manually it doesn't allow me giving the message "The queus is registered and therefore cannot be activated".
    I have also tried deleting the entry and restarting the message again and then it goes to the same queue and gets stuck again. What should I do further?

    Hi,
    To be able to initiate processing of messages stuck in the queue, make sure to set following IS configuration parameter
    MONITOR QRFC_RESTART_ALLOWED to value 1 in SXMB_ADM
    Check this

    Please follow recommendation as per note 705650, update the CRM table SMOFPARSFA, if no change then proceed with the following:
    You can also lock/unlock using a report/batch job by calling function module TRFC_QOUT_STOP or TRFC_QOUT_RESTART. You can also enter wildcards here. Alternatively, when Several queues may have an incorrect status and may no longer be processed. Start the programs RSQIWKEX and RSQOWKEX for all queues to correct statuses that may be
    incorrect and to enable the qRFC scheduler to further process these queues.
    In addition review the following:
    Note 624921 - Activities after a system start (R/3 [ERP] or CRM)
    Note 158346 - Periodic restart of work processes

    This is a very generic dump which could have occured due to multiple reasons.
    Can you check if you face the same issues while replicating other queues too (PROD0/PROD1 etc)

    While checking SMQ2 in CRM , we found R3AD_SALESDO0004700962 is sysfail status .
    We checked SMW01 transaction,found few bdocs are in E08(mapping error) state with error "A business transaction already exists with the number xxxxxxxxxx".
    Bdoc type : BUS_TRANS_MSG
    state : E08(Mapping error)

    Hi,
    I think there is a clash with the internal and external Number ranges used by the transaciton type.
    Please check if both number ranges are overlapping?

  • BP Creation in CRM- Queues stuck in SMQ1 - SYSFAIL Status

    When we create  a BP in CRM , The BP Queues R3AUBUPA* has are stuck in SMQ1 in CRM with status  SYSFAIL . The detailed Error description is " Function module "CRM_BUPA_BDOC_MAP_NUMRANGE" not found"
    We have already maintained the following entry in table CRMC_BUT_CALL_FU in CRM with call indicator set.

    Do we need to maintain this FM somewhere else?

    Error coming is 'Function module does not exist or EXCEPTION raised'

    Hi Mayank,
    i think if there is an error occured in the BPE processing then you might have to restart that work item from SXMB_MONI_BPE.
    so in SXMB_MONI_BPE-continue process following error, check if the integration process is having error in any of the steps and restart it if possible. Afterwards we would be able to restart the BPM queue from SMQ2.

  • Queue SYSFAIL after message split "Whole number overflow on addition"

    Hi,
    I'm using a message mapping in PI 7.1 to split a message in several messages for each line of an invoice. It's a mapping 1 to 0..n. Everything went well since I had maximum 100 invoice lines to split (then 100 messages at the output of the mapping).
    But since I have now messages with 200 invoice lines, everytime the queue is stopped in SYSFAIL status with a message "Whole number overflow on addition". But all messages are processed even if the queue is stopped.
    ST22 gives me a COMPUTE_INT_PLUS_OVERFLOW in the method determin_message_size. It seams that PI doen't support a large message at output of a mapping. How can I split the message into multple messages at the outplut of a message mapping ?
    Does anyone have a solution ?

  • XBTM* queue with sysfail as the FM: SXMS_ASYNC_EXEC failing.

    Hi All,
    We have a landscape that includes two PI systems between the SAP system and the legacy systems. We received a large message of around 85MB from the legacy system through HTTP adapter. This message was transformed and processed successfully from the 1st PI system in about 1 and half hour time and sent to the 2nd PI system using XI adapter. This PI system contains no Mapping for this interface and just needs to deliver the numerous IDOCs in the payload to the SAP System.
    The message size in the second PI system is still 84 MB but the message is stuck in SMQ2  queue XBTM0000 as sysfail with the status text :" Time limit exceeded." as the FM:  SXMS_ASYNC_EXEC failing.
    We have tried to De register, Register and activating the queue and also executing LUW, but the problem exists.
    Any valuable inputs in this regards will be highly appreciated.

    As you have already tried de-registering and registering the queue, I can't think of anything else apart from sizing. Try applying the sizing guide to see if that helps.

    Hi Ram,
       You can do one simple thing...jus goto SMQ2-> click on the queue-> select the queue name with sysfail error--> unlock it and refresh.
      if it not works for you thn do the following....
    1. To be able to initiate processing of messages stuck in the queue, make sure to set following IS configuration parameter
    MONITOR QRFC_RESTART_ALLOWED to value 1
    2. For automatic  failure recovery, schedule the report RSQIWKEX to run periodically. This report enables automatically resets the queues.
