Sysfail status in SMQ1

Hi
I have sysfail error in tRFC and qRFC (SM58 and SMQ1) Error message with function module not found and exception raised .Scenario is from ECC-XI-Third party system.
Checked for dumps in SAP XI where in I could get the following message " Error in ABAP Program "SAPMSSY1"and the program is terminated Probably due to an error in program .this is a standard Program and moreover this interface has run successful till april end
Please let me know your suggestions to clear off the sysfail status

R3AD_MATERIA00000 SYSFAIL STATUS

Hi,
While monitoring SMQ2 in CRM System we found,one queue R3AD_MAT* is in SYSFAIL status. I tried to Reprocess the queue,but the queue remains in sysfail status with error " Error in Mapping (Details: transaction SMW01".
And I checked SMW01,found one bdoc was in E04 state with error " Value YDU is not permitted for attribute CRMT_PRC_GROUP4". Bdoc type Product_Mat.
Kindly let me know how to clear the sysfail status queue.

Hi PV,
According to the error seen in SMW01 it appears that a product was replicated which had product group 4 YDU assigned to it, which does not exist in the system. Do an initial download using the adapter object which gets product group details. And than try to reprocess this Bdoc or remove the product group assignement from the product master and reprocess the Bdoc again.
Product groups are seen in the Sales and distribution Tab of product master

SYSFAIL status in SMQ2

Greetings
Ive started customer_main intial load and its still in running status.
SMQ2 shows R3AI_CUSTOMER_MAIN in SYSFAIL status.
When I double click on it it throws out error in Mapping( Details: Transaction SMW01)
No queues in R3
Pleaze advice im still fairly new to this middleware issue. How to fix this problem i am having

In CRM table CRMM_BUT_CUSTTNO shows 2 different customer no's for the same partner guid
in R3 under table CRMKUNNR it shows one customer no for one partner guid which looks correct
Any idea how this happend and what the cause might be

Hi all,
In Moni .all the messages are waiting in queue and queue status is SYSFAIl ..when ever i release the key message went through ,..what type of problem is this..is this because of communication between the two systems failed or some other problem..

Often in asynchronous scenarios where inbound queues are used, the queues are set to SYSFAIL status and all the messages in the inbound queue are stuck (not processed). Depending on the status of XI processing queues, we can reset a queues status and trigger processing of messages.
Manual Resend of messages: Use transaction SMQR or SMQ2 to reset the status of queues. As you can see in the following figure, the queue has been marked with a status sysfail.
To be able to initiate processing of messages stuck in the queue, make sure to set following IS configuration parameter
MONITOR QRFC_RESTART_ALLOWED to value 1
For automatic qRfc failure recovery, schedule the report RSQIWKEX to run periodically. This report enables automatically resets the queues

BP Creation in CRM- Queues stuck in SMQ1 - SYSFAIL Status

Hi ,
When we create a BP in CRM , The BP Queues R3AUBUPA* has are stuck in SMQ1 in CRM with status SYSFAIL . The detailed Error description is " Function module "CRM_BUPA_BDOC_MAP_NUMRANGE" not found"
We have already maintained the following entry in table CRMC_BUT_CALL_FU in CRM with call indicator set.
Event Object Item FM
CRMIN BUPA 50000 CRM_BUPA_BDOC_MAP_NUMRANGE
Do we need to maintain this FM somewhere else?
Help us to solve this issue.

Middleware SYSFAIL error in SMQ1/2

Dear Experts,
We are implementing CRM 7.0, with the view of creating BP's in CRM and replicating (vendor/sold-to-party) to ECC 6.
I have run trnx R3AS but whenever i check transaction SWM01 the BDOC is wating(yellow) then I check transaction SMQ1 and there is an error in the outbound queue.
The status is assigned as SYSFAIL and when I check the details there is an error in FM CRM_UPLOAD_TRIGGER - Field symbol has not yet been assigned.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Any assistance will be highly appreciated.

    come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
Error analysis
    You attempted to access an unassigned field symbol
    (data segment 32771).
    This error may occur if
    - You address a typed field symbol before it has been set with
      ASSIGN
    - You address a field symbol that pointed to the line of an
      internal table that was deleted
    - You address a field symbol that was previously reset using
      UNASSIGN or that pointed to a local field that no
      longer exists
    - You address a global function interface, although the
      respective function module is not active - that is, is
      not in the list of active calls. The list of active calls
      can be taken from this short dump.
I am not sure where the call stack is on the short dump analysis. Hope the above helps, if not please let me know.

Please follow recommendation as per note 705650, update the CRM table SMOFPARSFA, if no change then proceed with the following:
You can also lock/unlock using a report/batch job by calling function module TRFC_QOUT_STOP or TRFC_QOUT_RESTART. You can also enter wildcards here. Alternatively, when Several queues may have an incorrect status and may no longer be processed. Start the programs RSQIWKEX and RSQOWKEX for all queues to correct statuses that may be
incorrect and to enable the qRFC scheduler to further process these queues.
In addition review the following:
Note 624921 - Activities after a system start (R/3 [ERP] or CRM)
Note 158346 - Periodic restart of work processes

SYSFAIL Error in SMQ1 (Outbound)

Hi Experts,
We came across the dumped queues in SMQ1 (Outbound) with SYSFAIL error which were specifically described as: Die laufende Anwendung hat bewußt einen Abbruch mit Kurzdump ausgelöst which means, The current application has deliberately triggered a termination with short dump.
One example is: CRM_BT_LRP4910739398ZDE1.
We tried RSQOWKEX to restart the queues but the attempt was unsuccessful.

We already tried to look for these queues in SMW01 but all of those queues are not found in middleware.

[Urgent] Queues are blocked in status SYSFAIL

Hi experts,
I have the following problem that arose unexpectedly in an XI 3.0 installation:
Queues are blocked in SYSFAIL status and when I click on one entry, I get message: XI Error CLIENT_RECEIVE_FAILED.INTERNAL: Queue stopped
It seems to me that J2EE stack cannot connect to ABAP stack.
When I test INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI connection in sm59, I get no reply..
I cannot logon to Visual Administrator. It stops at 99%.
Hardly can I connect to Integration Builder.
Any ideas.
I need your help ASAP.

Is your XI installation over?
We had a similar problem in one of my earlier projects. We restarted the server and everything started working fine.
If it is possible you can try the same.

Sysfail queue: queue stopped

i have some scenarios runnnig in my system, some scenarios are failing due to queue STOP,
when i click the queue name from the MONI, it shows that three queues namely XBTI007, XBTI003, XBTI004 are in SYSFAIL status,
when i cllick those queues, i find some 1000 entries in each of the queue,
the topmost entry shows that qRFC SXMS_ASYNC_EXEC failed due to
reason: COMMIT/ROLLBACK error on "DEFAULT" database connection...
there are many scenarios getiing stuck but i could find that the a particular scenarios qRFC execution lead to the error,
but since all the scenarios are getting stuck ....
wat action can i take....
if i select the entry with sysfail status and activate the queue, will it hamper something...
will data loss happen??
pls help...its in production system

Dhar,
SMQ2 is for outbound queue and SMQ1 is inbound queue. If you are getting the messages into XI then check in SMQ1 for any errors in XI and if you are sending out from XI then see SMQ2. Check this help for some more information on this:

Deleting Outbound Queues in SMQ1

Dear Experts,
System landscape: ECC 6.0, SRM 5.0
I started intial load using DNL_CUST_PROD1 in R3AS and my outbound queue in SMQ1 (ECC) contained an SYSFAIL status. So I would like restart the initial load again from SRM.
Can you please let me know if I need to delete this outbound queue or resetting the status to READY is enough.
If I need to delete the queue, can you please let me know how to delete this outbound queue.

Hi Bob,
I'm not sure if I completely understand your question.
You can delete the outbound queue and start the initial load again. In order to do so, just select the queue (click on it once) and then select the trash can icon on the top left side. Or else you can just right click on the queue and select the "Delete" option.

SMQ1 and SMQ2 queues stuck

Hi All,
We are using ISU and CRM system for Retail business, Always work flows and lot of business transactions will perform in those systems and replications will happen in both systems.
Due to this reason lot of entries are present in SMQ1, SMQ2 and SM58 will present. We are continuously monitoring though some times some entries are are found in sysfail status. due to this lot of entries are piled up and queues becomes very high amount.
As a work around, If we unlock the queue ( sysfail entry ) two to three times the entry will go and the remaining entries will start move.
Currently our requirement is can we do this kind of this as automated ? I mean as per conditions it will unlock the queues automatically ?
Please suggest me in this case.

Thanks for your reply. I had gone through the mentioned notes and say about it is not recommended to use regular basis. Here our requirement is need to check the sysfail entries in the queue. Need to unlock the queue twice or thrice to re-process the entry. If any data issue our CRM middle ware team can handle.
The major purpose is to unlock the queue entries which can re-process automatically without manual correction.
I like to proceed with Deepanshu suggestion to check with ABAPer. before that I need to check with our CRM middle ware team to get the list of error which can process through unlocking the queue.

SYSFAIL Error in SMQ2 - Transfer of material from R/3 to CRM

Hi,
We are using standard BDOC to transfer material from R/3 to CRM. BDOC Type is PRODUCT_MAT, Queue name is R3AD_MATERIA<Material No>.
There are some queues which are struck in SMQ2. There are no struck queues in R/3. The struck queue has the status SYSFAIL and when I double click, it shows Message - Error in Mapping (Details: transaction SMW01)
I checked transaction - SMW01. The queue name which is in SYSFAIL status is not coming up in SMW01.
I do not understand whereelse I can see the detailed error message.
This error does not occur for all articles.
As I don't have sufficient knowledge in CRM and BDOCs, any pointers regarding the issue will be very much helpful.

Please follow as below:
SMWP-Middleware Monitoring Cockpit- This transaction gathers a wide set of information about the status of the Middleware & Downloads in both the CRM system, the R/3. All statuses should normally be green but there may be some circumstances which stop this occurring. Expand the section Generation Information which refers to the generation of BDoc Types. Where ever you see error you can right click and Select Analysis Tool then right click and check the error.The log shows the error.
SMQ2- Select a Queue and select Display. Queues connected to R/3 start with a queue name of R3A/D.
Double click on the Status field i.e SYSFAIL. Reason will be shown.In your case it is u201CError in Mapping (Details: transaction SMW01)u201D. Then Continue and select a queue and select Display.You can see the Individual BDocs are beoing displayed.
SMW01- give Bdoc Type as " Product_mat". If it is not displaying then I request you to check if all the objects are generated properly.This may also happen if the objects are not properly generated.Use tx-Genstatus. That will give you a list of error objects to be generated.

ABAP program to Cancel messages in Scheduled/Recorded status?

Can anyone tell me whether there is an ABAP program available (or a variant) that will Cancel messages that are in Scheduled (or Recorded) status?
Messages to be sent from ECC to PI were not sent and are left in Recorded status in ECC. I cannot find the documentation to explain what this status is, but I'm presuming that it's similar to the Scheduled status in PI (though there's not much documentation about that either - for example, what's the difference between the 'green flag' Scheduled and the 'green flag' Released for Processing (WS)? ). {Note to SAP: Could we have a state transition diagram please? Simple, concise and effective.}
Anyway, the 'tick-pencil' button in SXMB_MONI (aka. CTRL-F8) can be used to cancel the messages in Scheduled/Recorded status. But I'm looking for an ABAP program to do this. The documentation seems to 'suggest' that this button might do the same thing as the ABAP program RSXMB_CANCEL_MESSAGES. However, this ABAP program does not cancel messages in Scheduled status (only the messages in Error), whereas the SXMB_MONI CTRL-F8 'tick-pencil' will cancel messages in Scheduled status if they are selected.
Is there another ABAP program available to cancel messages in Scheduled status - or is it possible to create a variant of RSXMB_CANCEL_MESSAGES that will do this? (I'm not an ABAP programmer and I've never created a variant, but looking at the code, it seemed it might be possible to get the program to read messages in Scheduled status rather than Error status.)

Messages are in scheduled status because they still in the queue in either 'READY' status or 'EXECUTING' status (see SMQ1/SMQ2). You don't want to automatically cancel messages that are in scheduled status because that means you are also going to cancel good messages. However, in some cases, you may want to cancel such messages especially when the message in the queue has been in 'Executing' status for long time (happens in case of long running mapping program or dropped connection etc). Such cases warrant manual intervention and hence the behavior as noted by you.
If you can tell me why exactly you want to cancel messages that are in scheduled status, I can help you more.

Queue SYSFAIL after message split "Whole number overflow on addition"

Hi,
I'm using a message mapping in PI 7.1 to split a message in several messages for each line of an invoice. It's a mapping 1 to 0..n. Everything went well since I had maximum 100 invoice lines to split (then 100 messages at the output of the mapping).
But since I have now messages with 200 invoice lines, everytime the queue is stopped in SYSFAIL status with a message "Whole number overflow on addition". But all messages are processed even if the queue is stopped.
ST22 gives me a COMPUTE_INT_PLUS_OVERFLOW in the method determin_message_size. It seams that PI doen't support a large message at output of a mapping. How can I split the message into multple messages at the outplut of a message mapping ?
Does anyone have a solution ?
