Is it the original Operating System that came with the notebook?

PI 7.11 sp6 system copy Exchange Profile error code: 399

Experts,
We have a PI 7.1 (EHP1, sp6) PI system based on AIX 6.1 OS and Oracle 11g.
I recently did the standard PI system copy from a prod source (PIP) to a training target (PIT).
I used the most recenty PI system copy guide that is specific for PI 7.1 EHP1
I did not run into any major problems doing the steps of the copy itself.
I did the usual "post" steps, documented in the guide that really are done on any NW system.
Then I got into the specific "PI" post steps and that's where I now have a problem.
I followed all the steps, fixing my RFCs, JCos, Destinations, cleaning up SLD, SLDAPICUST, creating new business systems...etc.
My big problem is with the exchange profile. Yes, it's easy to change all the SIDs and hostnames using the search tool for all the parameters in the exchange profile, but the one I COULD NOT CHANGE was the "ABAP Connection". In there right after the copy was the hostname of the prod system, the client, and the user PILDUSER. I attempted to put the hostname of my target (PIT) system, but I would get the error:
com.sap.rprof.dbprofiles.DBException: RFC call returned an error code: 399
I'm certain the user is NOT locked and the password is correct for PILDUSER. It'll give me a different error if I put the wrong password in, so I know it's hitting my system.
Worse yet, If I left the hostname in there that was set to "prod", then when I changed all the other values in the "parameters" section of the XI profile, then it actually changed my PROD system!!
If I keep the ABAP connection to PIT, then the entire exchange profile disappears for PIT.
I see these errors in the default trace and application log:

SLDCHECK shows this:

Access to the XI Profile is currently disrupted.
I can't be the first person to run into this.
SO strange that I can actually plug in either my dev/QA or PROD hostname in the "ABAP connection" box and it WILL ACCEPT IT...but then, it registered my training system as a "non central adapter engine". I don't want that.
Any ideas?
Another issue is that the SLD PI information from the PIT system is missing the "Integration Directory". It has the other 5 entries...Adapter Engine, Domain, Integration Repository, Integration Server, RWB.

ODBC Administrator (32-bit ..\SysWOW64\odbc32ad.exe) fails on System DSN add, with error code 126

Logging into W2008R2 server with ID which is a member of "Administrators" group. Installed 32-bit PostgreSQL driver via msi package. When using 32-bit ODBC Administrator to create "System DSN", receive error as follows:
"The setup routines for the PostgreSQL ANSI ODBC driver could not be loaded due to system error code 126: The specified module could not be found. (C:\psqlODBC\0903\bin\psqlodbc30a.dll).
I have verified the file does exist, by that name, in that location and the registry entries look good (I am not allowed to insert images until my account is "verified").
The ODBC Administrator lists the 32-bit driver (along with all the others) in the Drivers tab. I am successful creating a System DSN if I choose a different 32-bit driver (e.g. the IBM DB2 driver). Thank you for any direction you can provide.

Based on your description, it seems that you have checked the registry entries. On current situation, I suggest
that you should check again. Just to confirm.
Please open Registry Editor and navigate to the path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ODBC\ODBCINST.INI
Since installation information for ODBC drivers is stored in this key. Please make sure that the required ODBC
driver file (psqlodbc30a.dll) is in the correct folder as described by the registry keys.

All-on-One printer ink system failure with unusual error code

Woe is me (and my kids)! Got the 'printhead problem' message while using my C6380 printer. Followed all instructions - cleaned the printhead, replaced the cartridges with new HP products, reset the printer - but persistently getting the 'ink system failure' message. The error code is Oxc19a0007 which is NOT one of the many listed error codes - ...0006 and ...0008 are on the list but not ...0007.
Any ideas, anyone?

Error code 0xc000014c

Had the hard drive wiped. Got inline for approx 3 hrs. Then started crashing. Nothing was responding shut it down error code came up no boot disk had been detected or it failed. Did the hard drive extensive test:
Smart check - warning
Short dst- software error
Optimized dst- not available
Long dst- passed
I did it again this time everything passed. I cannot connect online cause windows is not responding therefore I can not do anything. I need help. I am ready to scream. Do I have a virus? Is it in the windows itself or could there be a problem with my hard drive? What does the code mean? It is still under warranty and I need it fixed ASAP. PLEASE HELP

It looks like you are not able to Boot into the Operating System on your Notebook.
We will surely assist you with this.
Originally the Notebook will have the Recovery Partition and that would give you an option to create a set of Recovery Disk. If you have not created those Recovery Disks when the Notebook was in working condition we cannot do that right now
As of now if you need to recover your Notebook with the new Operating System you can check if the Recovery Partition
is in a working condition or not, If yes you can easily recover/restore your Notebook
If Recovery Partition is corrupted
You need to call HP Technical Support and request for a set of Recovery Disks , So you can recover/resotre your Notebook at the earliest
OR
You need call up Microsoft and purchase an Operating System with the License Key, So you can recover/resotre your Notebook at the earliest

System Level Exception. Error code -17502

Hi,
I have an initialize test step which is written in LabWindows/CVI and I call
that step from TestStand.
In that test step I initialize one dll, first I load DLL (the handle goes to
the global variable) and finally I get the function pointers. When this step
ends, I go back to the TestStand and I got this error. Do you know what is
wrong and how should I do this dll loading because I need this handle later?

I think something must be happening in either the DLL_PROCESS_ATTACH: of DLL main in the loaded dll. It might be trying to do something which can be causing the system level exception.
System level exception can also be caused because you are calling a dll function incorrectly ie passing a I16 instead of a I32 in the parameters.
I might also be trying to call/release a function reference which is not valid.
I would suggest you to step into your code and make sure that all your reference are valid if and when you call/release them.
You might want to try to trap the 17502 error by following the Knowledge Base link given below

See if any body may help here... I get this blue screen:

You'll need to use the recovery tools on your installation media. If you don't have any installation media (like a a disc or USB device), contact your system administrator or PC manufacturer.
Press Esc for UEFI Firmware Settings
First I was able to get into the option 11 and run the whole factory reset, i was so happy because I tought it will be easy.. but then after I did the factory reset.. I keep getting this blue screen. if I press ESC I get into this next screen:
F1 System Information
F2 System Diagnostics
F9 Boot Device Options
F10 BIOS Setup
F11 System Recovery
ENTER - Continue Startup.
this is what happen when I click any of this options:
F1 I get into the System Information with no problems, then I click <ESC> to continue and get back to the last screen... then I press F2 and super, I am able to run Memory Test and Hard Drive Check 100% with no problems in any of those, after I am done with my teste I press exit and I am back to the F1,F2, ETC menu... now I want to try F9, F10 or F11. bummer.. in this 3 options I get back to the blue screen described at the beggining of this post. (I already connect a USB with an boot loader, which works perfectly)
so I can't do anything, nothing at all!! crazzines.
So what I did to check why I can't get into the BIOS or at least to boot from my USB... I removed the botton cover of my laptop and removed the hard drive and that's how then I was or I am able to Log into the BIOS, - I did the changes to boot first from the USB and then from the HD and this is how I was able to boot from the USB - BUT If I connect back the Hard drive, I am not able to get into the BIOS or boot from the USB - so basically I am stuck in this blue screen and I can't boot from a USB if I have the HD connected.. I can't use any option.. no BIOS, nothing.. only if again, i disconnect the HD.

**** I though that by updating the BIOS I may be able to get help, nothing. What I did is, I removed the HD and then and boot from the USB and with a DOS command propmt I excecuted the Bios Update from F.21 to f.25... but again, when I installed the hard drive back, BUMMER, nothing I can't do nothing but this silly blue screen.
Any idea of what should I do?

If you can't access BIOS with the hard disk connected, you certainly won't be able to boot to the usb recovery flashdrive. That is indicative of a failed hard disk.
Install a new hard disk and then boot to the recovery flashdrive.

SAP Error code- How to find possible errors

Please advise is there any way to identify the possible errors in data or in config using error codes displayed by the sap system. Any such procedure to trace the possible mistakes. please guide me.

dear friend,
one of the approaches as follows ( technical , not functional): on your error screen goto System-Status, double click on Program (screen)
and in this ABAP editor you could try to find out the place with that particular error code/number.
then to analyse the code (why this message is called).
to use this method you need to be able understand abap.
just in case, all messages exist in standard table T100, so you can search there by text error or message number.
from functional point of view you could try to find out the place in config (spro) where you can customize that particular message , say , error, or warning, or just skip. But this doesn't work always! Some of system messages are not configurable.
depends on module and etc..

According to the logs and the base error code it's failed to locate directories
_1. /u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/OPatch/etc/config/actions_
_2. /u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/OPatch/etc/config/inventory_
Not sure about these destinations highlighted by the patching Utility ...*

You need to invoke OPatch from the directory where the patch has been unzipped, after making sure that the path to OPatch is included in the PATH variable. Pl re-read the patch install instructions in the README and follow them exactly

Apparently, it is looking for "/trash/em10gr3unzip/etc/config/actions" or "/trash/em10gr3unzip/etc/config/inventory. May be you can try again unzipping/uncompressing the patch and then applying the patch.

Satellite C850-1NU does not boot Win 8.1 - Error Code 0xc0000098

Windows 8.1 will not boot
Laptop is *Toshiba Satellite C850 1NU*, as from Saturday it will not boot up!
*Error states "The boot configuration Data File doesn't contain valid information for an operating system.*
*File:\ BCD*
*Error Code 0xc0000098*
I have transferred recovery tools from another laptop to a USB stick and then enter bios of the Toshiba Laptop to make the USB drive to boot first.
It then comes up with the recovery tools.
I clicked on "Refresh your pc" it then reports "The drive where Windows is installed is locked. Unlock the drive and try again".
I clicked on "Reset your pc" it then reports "Unable to reset your pc. A required drive partition is missing".
I have also tried "Automatic Repair" and it reports "Repair couldn't repair your PC".
I am at a loss as to get my sons laptop up and running again. Advice would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Snow Leopard 'error code 50', 'Low Application memory'. Help.

I've been facing **** lot of problems with my MBP of late, and all that I could try have turned unfruitful. I'd appreciate some help.
Problems started when I downloaded and tried to install SL update 10.6.7 on 10.6.6. It was working fine on 10.6.6. The update failed, and I received 'error code 50' very often while deleting files from Trash. Also, 'beach-balling' became more frequent, and I had to force quit applications very often because of 'low application memory' box being displayed.I also encountered the grey screen prompting me to 'press power button till shut down and restart'.
Finally, I tried a clean reinstall but the same problems persisted, and lots of applications stopped working. I could not download files from browser (Low disk space, despite a 100 GB space available on he HD) or save textedit, Office or iWork files. I did a clean reinstall again, with zero-erase option and again downloaded the 10.6.7 combo update. The 'Software Update' application failed. I downloaded the update from my browser and it was installed successfully finally after 4 system restarts, but the 'error code 50' problem still persists.
What am I doing wrong? I've been dealing with this abnormal performance for more than a month. I haven't backed up files because there is no use making a backup of corrupt system. Specs : MBP'09, 13.3". 2.26 GHz, 160 GM, SL 10.6.7.

I tried to run the hardware test by inserting the Applications Install dvd and pressing 'D' just after the chime. It did not run. Nevertheless, the App DVD is ejected every time I insert it in to install some apps, like iLife etc. Running Disk Utility dies not work, as it says the 'disk cannot be mounted'.
I tried another clean reinstall of SL 10.6, and some of the funny stuff are :
1. error code 50 yet again
2. It won't allow me take snapshots, saying 'You do not have permission to save snapshots etc.."
3. Safari cannot download files
4. 'Low Application Memory' message box appeared a few times, prompting me to Force Quit Safari.
Could there be something wrong with the Install DVD? Though Disk Utility First Aid shows error free HD verification.
