System 9.3.1 to 9.3.3 upgrade

We are planning to upgrade our System 9.3.1 on multiple nodes to 9.3.3 patch level. When we installed 9.3.1 initially we used manual deployment and have Oracle Application Server 10.1.3.1.
I have gone through the guide hsys9_install_start_here_933.pdf (Updated: November 2010) Chapters: System Requirements and Upgrading Sequence.
And also went over each and every Product's individual READMe files.
Question:

1) Have anyone out there also use Oracle Application Server 10.1.3.1 as webserver?
2) The readme's for other modules (except Planning) do not have clear instructions on whether we need to redeploy existing war/ear files afte upgrade to 9.3.3. I havent started applying the 9.3.3 patchset yet but was wondering if there is any need to do redeploy or make any adjustments when we have OAS 10.1.3.1 in use.
3) I know there are known issues sections in each of the individual product readme's. Have anyone had any issues other than those mentioned in README.txt. I will share my own experience after the upgrade is performed in this post if we come across any on our environment.

9.3.3 is a major update and upgrade from 9.3.1 simply replaces all existing web applications, hence a full re-deployment is required for all modules.
I don't know which document you are referring to but here is a useful one:

As you are on re-deployment, can you not switch to Weblogic? Even Oracle themselves admit that it's a better application server, that's probably why they acquired it.

You can purchase and download Mountain Lion in the App Store (in your 'Applications' folder), then just run the installer: however you should first check that Mountain Lion can indeed run on your Mac. Please see this page:

In particular note that PPC applications such as AppleWorks will not run on Mountain Lion since Rosetta is not included and can't be added.

Yes, but unless you have a very slow Internet connection, it's easier and cheaper to go through Mac OS X 10.6.

Sounds like you have an iPad 1 or first generation iPad. If it doesn't have a front-facing camera this is a sure way to tell. And if that is the case then iOS 5.1.1 is the last supported version of iOS that Apple did for this particular device unfortunately.

MS System Center Operations Manager 2010 Download required for Upgrade from SCOM 2007 R2 (Select)

We need the download of SCOM 2012 without Service Pack1.
Upgrade from SCOM 2007 R2 (select license) fails while upgrade check with error: Logs shows "At least one of the following applications is installed on this computer. Due
to incompatibility with System Center 2012 - Operations Manager, these applications must be uninstalled."
Upgrade was started from dos elevated prompt with modified parameters like this:
setup.exe /silent /upgrade
/AcceptEndUserLicenseAgreement:1
/UseLocalSystemDASAccount
/DataReaderUser:<domain\user>
/DataReaderPassword:<password>
Research in internet and we found another person with same issue, which reports that direct upgrade from SCOM 2007 R2 to SCOM 2012 SP1 is not possible but if upgrade is done over
SCOM 2012 to SCOM 2012 SP1 it succeeds.
Unfortunately, we don't find any downloads for the first release of System Center 2012 e.g. Operations Manager.
Everything shows Service Pack 1 or the newer R2.
Who can help?

Our “Recommended” rolling upgrade path looks like the following:
SCOM 2007R2 CU4+ > SCOM 2012 RTM UR2+ >
SCOM 2012 SP1 UR4+ > SCOM 2012 R2

Can't use system ringtone in 3rd party apps since OS upgrade

Yesterday I upgraded the OS on my BB9900 to 7.1 Bundle 2061 (v7.1.0.714 Platform 5.1.0.532). I then had to completely reconfigure BeBuzz LED customiser (v 5.0.40 for OS 7.1) for specific contacts and apps. Before upgrading I had used 3Bells as a contact-specific alert for emails and text messages in BeBuzz. But since the upgrade it won’t let me us 3Bells. If I try, the following message appears:
“The selected ringtone 3Bells is a system protected file and cannot be accessed by 3rd party apps. Please move a copy of the file to a different folder on your phone. This applies to all ringtones that came preinstalled on this phone”.
This is very strange, as this restriction wasn’t there before upgrading the OS. My question is, how do I locate the folder where this ringtone file is?

System preferences works differently after 10.5.8 upgrade

After upgrading to 10.5.8 I cannot select "Display Audio" in either the "Input" or "Output" sections of the "Sound" System Preferences when an external Apple headset is plugged into the headphone jack of the MacBook.
If the Headset is not plugged in all audio devices are available to be selected in the system preferences panel but when the headset is plugged in all audio devices (I have three) except "Display Audio" are available for selection. when I select "Display Audio" it immediately hops back to the headset.

I have the same with my NAS. In the beginning of Leopard the same thing happened, with the connect to the server a Finder window of the disk would open. But in the last 4-5 version everything went as it was supposed to. And now I end up with all these open windows ;-(. Annoying.
Detail, I connect using a SMB server.
Would appreciate it very much if this is solved in the near future.

HiI upgraded my OS from win 8.1 to win 10.After the upgrades the system shutdown and sleep are not working properly.It's like when I shutdown/sleep the system ,the screen shuts down but the power key keeps glowing and also the battery keeps draining.So eachtime I have to foercefully press the power button to shutdown the system. It sounds like you might be having an issue with one of the features of Windows called Hybrid Shutdown that is used for the Fast Startup feature. System Update icon in Start menu deleted after upgrade to latest version

I had a "System Update" icon in Start > Programs > Lenovo.
After I installed the update through System Update the icon is not there anymore.

I uninstalled System Update and reinstalled it.
This Start menu icon is now in the "Lenovo ThinkVantage" folder while all other ThinkVantage icons are in "ThinkVantage". This is a bug!

I do sympathize with your situation: you are among many for whom upgrading is impracticable, but who are dependent on MobileMe facilities which will be withdrawn next June.
As you say, you will need 10.7.2 to access iCloud on a Mac, and iOS5 for mobile devices.
I can't offer you any easy solutions, but this list may at least clarify the exact situation for you:
Your email, calendars, contacts and bookmarks, and 'Find my iPhone' will be migrated to iCloud.
Your iDisk, together with website hosting and Gallery. will continue to work as before until next June.
You will be able to access email, calendar and contacts on the iCloud website at http://icloud.com provided your browser is reasonably up-to-date.
You will not be able to sync contacts or bookmarks from a pre-Lion Mac.
You will be able to enter the server settings for email manually in the Mail application and access your email.
You will not be able to sync your calendars directly.
Some people have been able to set up calendar syncing by using the method detailed here - this is an unsupported hack and may not be reliable, and may stop working at some future point. BusyCal is an iCal-like calendar application with extra facilities: it can sync with the iCloud Calendar while running on Leopard, Snow Leopard or Lion.
There appears to be no method of syncing contacts (though Address Book on a Mac can be synced with Google or Yahoo address books - I don't know how reliable this is).
