My system administrayor wont let me install the latest version of itunes.How do i fix this?

is there some sort of panel that i can go into to disable the admin?
You should not be running on an admin account on a regular basis. Use it only if you are installing or doing something which requires admin privileges.
You should have two account. One admin account (for installs and maintenance) and one regular account for all your day-to-day surfing and "normal" work.
Log out and log back in using your admin account and password to install iTunes.

When trying to install I-tunes I get an error, something to the effect of installation of quicktime cannot complete, and the installation errors out. I have tried to download quicktime individially and install it but still produces the same error. I doubt that corrupt files are the problem. It is more likely a space or permissions issue. Is the hard-drive on which iTunes is stored close to capacity? Do you (or the particular user profile you have logged on with) have the requisite permissions to save to that drive?
Otherwise, do you get an error code? This might point us in the right direction.

I had the same problem.I tried every solutions on the net but nothing worked.Luckily on that very day my free avast antivirus date expired(I dont currently have a paid antivirus) and I uninstalled it.Then I tried to install itunes and did it on the first go.But I am using a windows 7 32 bit so it might not work for you as you are on the 64 bit.Actually the antivrus was the culprit.Hope it helps.Thanks

You need the orignal system discs or an upgrade DVD that has Snow Leopard 10.6.3 on it and you must erase, or better Re-Partition, the drive to get rid of any Newer version of OS X first.

You say "It won't let me download iTunes ...". I cannot imagine what you mean. What does "It" mean?
iTunes is a part of iOS on your iPhone. If your iPhone can turn on, iTunes is already there. You cannot separately download iTunes to iPhone; you would have to update iOS to get a fresh copy.

Yes, simply reinstall from your Snow Leopard installer disc. The reinstall will not erase the hard drive. After reinstalling you can upgrade to 10.6.6 with your updater.

Wont let me install the new version says i havent restarted the computer which i have about 4 times..

My iPad wont let me install apps even after typing in my password

Yester day i got my ipad mini 2 and signed into my apple account. I go search for an app like youtube and click the "get" button after clicking install they asked my sign in, i click "use existing account" then type in the email and password. then the button just turns back to "get" ! it wont let me get any apps and it doesnt tell me if my password or username is wrong. i type in the worng password to check and it tells me it is wrong. so i type in the correct password and it does nothing. PLease help!

It sounds like you are entering your Apple ID email and password but the Get button just reverts to Get with no error message at all. I would start by quitting the iTunes Store, Settings, and App Store apps on the device:
iOS: Force an app to close
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that restart the device:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
Then sign into your Apple ID in Settings > iTunes and App Stores and try downloading some apps again. That should get you going.

Windows 7 64 bit won't let me install itunes 64bit!

I have problems with 2 computers.
They are both by Gateway, one of them is a SX series Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, 1 TB, 4GB of RAM, intel i3 Dual Processor, and was just out of the box. The other one is a DX series Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit, 1.5TB, 6GB of RAM, Intel i5 Dual processor, and also, out of the box.
The first thing I do is install itunes.
However, in the middle of installing, it said this error:
an error occurred during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft.VC80.CRT,type="win32".version="8.0.50727.6195",publicKeyToken="1fc8b 9a1e18e3b",processorArchitecture="x86".Please refer to Help and Support for more information. HRESULT: 0x80070005.
I clicked okay, and it continuted on.
Just when it finished quicktime, it asked to verify the location of Mozilla Plugins for ntunes.dll or something like that. It won't let me through after that. I tried using other computers what have access through this, but it says that I need administrator permission to do so. However, I AM the Administrator. It is on the 2 computers.

I have no idea what check box you are talking about or how you are trying to open a PDF. This is not the Reader forum where you should be asking this question. However, to set Reader as the default, you should be able to right click on the PDF and select open with, select Reader, and then check the box to always use this application to open a PDF.

Keeps saying. Service "Apple Mobile Device" (Apple Mobile Device) failed to start.
