System Center Cloud Process pack for 2012R2 Service Manger

Hi Team,
I am setting infra for System center 2012R2. I am trying to install cloud service pack on Service Manger server build on 2012R2 Components.Server is already running Service Manger 2012R2.
during installation od Cloud Proccess pack error appear under prereq stage that Service Manger 2012 Is not installed.
Please let me know if Cloud Process pack for Service Manager 2012R2 is differ from Service Manger 2012Sp1.

You download apps from the App Store on your iPhone or iTunes from your computer. If from the computer, you then sync them to your 3GS via iTunes.

System processes needed for web service call

Hi experts,
one theoretical question: how about the system processes needed for a web service call? If have created a test service that does nothing except to wait for 10 seconds. When I call it from outside, no extra process is busy (as seen in trx SM50). Is it possible that one web service call (from outside -> SAP machine) does not need a DIA or BTC process on SAP machine?

Of course a web service needs a dialog workprocess to run.
But if you used the "wait" abap instruction, it may be that this instruction frees the work process ?

From my point of view, without internet they cannot communicate with System Center advisor.
Because Microsoft Azure Operational Insights relies on data that is moved to and from the cloud, if there is no internet connection, we will encounter below error:

How effective is System Center 2012 Endpoint Protection for Windows?

Is there any thing out there that compares how effective System Center 2012 Endpoint Protection is compared to other AV / Malware solutions? I have read where MS Security Essentials comes up short of the level of protection compared to

Didn't mean to propose that MS love (yes we all know that you love MS Jason) post as an answer to your question.
Truth is SCEP may be good at how it works, it doesn't whine to users and it integrates to ConfigMgr. That's where it's good at. And I get Jason's point there, I'd just like to know what are those "other products" that haven't found the malware
when SCEP did? MS may gather telemetry, but so do all the other players.
There are several companies that do ONLY and ONLY AV products so they put their 100% effort in them, I don't think that AV is the business priority number 1 for MS.

      I have a wriiten custom routine (routine no 901) for Pricing in VOFM.Now the thing is the code is written in such a way that, the routine will be called only for transaction VA01 and VA02.But If i want the routine(901) to be executed also through BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 and BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE ,then what system parameter i should check in my routine.
Currently the code is like this.

System Center 2012 Endpoint Protection for Mac

Has anyone had any experience instlling and using Microsoft's Endpoint for Mac?
I have tried it and am having some difficulty wihen using ARD to control systems that have Endpoint installed. Communications failures seem to occur and client systems quit responding to the ARD admin. Eventually the systems do seem to come back but it might take 15 or 20 minutes. When they have quite responding, the only way to get them back if you do not want to wait thm out is to force a "Power button 10 sec. reset"
The problem does not seem to be completely repeatable in that earlier in the day, I used this same manner of control on another room full of very similar systems and no problems took place. The problem first surfaced Friday afternoon shortly after Endpoint was installed. At that time 13 of 26 systems indicated "Communications Failure". But today, tin he morning things worked as expected but the afternoon resulted in 11 of 23 systems showing the "communications failure".
These clients are all iMac systems running 10.8.4 and have have permissions repairs done to them using ARD if they did not quit responding as mentioned above.
I have found almost no information on Endpoint with the Mac version. This version, for Mt. Lion seemed to have been released just this past May. Prior to that there was not a Mt. Lion version available.
Anyone have any experience with this Endpoint version for Mac Mt. Lion version?

Truth is SCEP may be good at how it works, it doesn't whine to users and it integrates to ConfigMgr. That's where it's good at. And I get Jason's point there, I'd just like to know what are those "other products" that haven't found the malware
when SCEP did? MS may gather telemetry, but so do all the other players.
There are several companies that do ONLY and ONLY AV products so they put their 100% effort in them, I don't think that AV is the business priority number 1 for MS.

I'd go with F-Secure, it's not that expensive and you get some neat features like USB (or any other device for that matter) blocker. And yes, it can be configured to use individual USB sticks and so on..

System Center Essentials on Windows Server 2012R2 Essentials

is it possible to install SCE 2010 on Server 2012R2 Essentials?
I already have WSUS up and running on this sever and know that SCE will try to install an older version WSUS. don't really need full SCCM so would like to use SCE instead.

The Windows Server 2012 R2 is not in the supported list of SCE 2010 and considering SCE is discontinued. You may have a try. It will still try to install older version WSUS.

Cloud Process template unable to auto syncing in runbook dependancy offering

Hi,
We are using Service Manager 2012 R2 with Rollup4 and Orchestrator 2012 R2 with same rollup. We have integrated cloud process pack for VM provisioning. Some days ago, we have successfully created VM by this setup, but now we
are unable to create VM.
VM creation going to fail (Pre create virtual machine),
and we are unable to find cloud template in dependency offering in runbook property.
please help me to resolve this issue, because this is live in production.

SQL Cluster - Unable to obtain IP Address from System Center IP Pool

Hi everyone,
we are trying to deploy a SQL cluster into a windows azure pack tenant cloud.
Our azure pack environment contains:
- 4X Hyper-V server in a failover cluster
- 1X SCVMM server
- multiple WAP server
Steps we have done:
-   Windows failover cluster is installed and configured successfully
-   Quorum disk was configured successfully
-   SQL server 2014 installation (via static IP) is successfully. But routing between the VMs is not possible.
-   SQL server 2014 installation (via DHCP) fails at the end of the installation with following error:
       -> We used DHCP to obtain an IP from the scvmm IP pool.

thanks for your supply.
We don't have an DHCP in the Cloud. System Center DHCP is used for assigning IP addresses and routing inforamtion to the vms.
This works fine for assigning IP addresses to the vms.
At my current point of understanding network virtualisation with system Center, we do not have an alternative to this way of assigning IP addresses.

When we enter Material Document Number XXXXXXXXXX of 101 Movt. type, and execute ... this error is showing...but for 103 movt, type documents working fine...
What should be the problem..

What is the issue you are facing? I dont see any issue there. Do you mean quantity details had not posted to excise through your Mvt.101 or when you did your MIGO/J1IEX? You run this txn only in that case. I think you are confusing yourself here. Or if you feel there is an issue, let me know what you are trying to achieve with this transaction which is not happening.
Run Register Extracts for RG23A/C in J2I5 and check if it has updated all receipts and issues for quantities and that your closing balance matches. If it does, you dont have to run this transaction. This transaction will run only if you have pending quantities to be updated in the Excise Registers, the update which did not happen when you did your MIGO / J1IEX.

Import System Center Monitoring Pack for System Center 2012 - Service Manager into SCOM 2007 R2

I would like to know if there is SCSM 2012 SP1 MP available for SCOM 2007 R2 ?
I downloaded the "System Center Monitoring Pack for System Center 2012 - Service Manager" MP from
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=29980 and then import into SCOM 2007 R2, however, I found that there are some MP dependencies issue.
For example, the "Microsoft System Center Service Manager Library" MP requires "Microsoft SystemCenter Library" and "System.Health.Library" MPs of version 7.0.8427.0. Howerver, the "Microsoft SystemCenter Library"
and "System.Health.Library" MP in SCOM 2007 R2 is of version 6.1.7221.0
