System Configurator Shortcuts Missing

Just went through installing the Essbase 32bit Client and the EAS 32bit Client on Win 7 64bit OS using Excel 2007. However now when I navigate to Oracle EPM System configurator it says it's missing the 'configtool.bat' file. Where could it have gone? I just re-installed it successfully. Wouldn't it recreate this path and files once I reinstall?

This all may be down to use you using windows 7 64bit.

  • Foreign System Configuration Tab Missing in ConsoleOne

We installed the GroupWise 7 Gateway for Microsoft Exchange SP2 and are trying to configure the gateway. However, we are missing the Foreign System Configuration Tab in ConsoleOne.
We've rerun the install and selected to just install the ConsoleOne snapins, but are still not seeing the Foreign System Configuration tab. I can see the file gwex.jar in the ConsoleOne\1.2\snapins\groupwise folder on the computer I ran the gateway installation from so I think the snapin is installed.
    Any help would be appreciated.

  • Managed system Configuration : The JMX metrics of this Host / Byte Code Adapter are missing

    Hi Friends
While Configuring EP system with SOLMAN 7.1 SP12 it is giving below message in self Diagnosis Phase.
    1. Solman system is already having ISAGENT version 8 and 9 installed (but Managed system is having 8)
    2. I have followed the automatic Process as below
    ==========================================
Automated Installation of the Introscope Agent via SMD
The Solution Manager provides an application that performs the setup of the Introscope
byte code agent for Java automatically. This section explains the steps to run the setup.
Before you can run the Introscope agent setup, the setup wizard for the managed system
    must have been executed.
    1.
    2.
    3.
    4. Launch the Introscope Setup application: SAP Solution Manager Configuration 
Managed Systems Configuration  Step 7 Configure Automatically  Automatic
Activity “Byte Code Adapter Installation”  “Open Java URL” (only available in edit
mode). Your screen will look similar to the image below:
    5. Check the Enterprise Manager Settings at the top of the screen. These are the
connection parameters that will be used by the agent to connect to the Enterprise
    Manager.
    6. In the pane Introscope Agent Setttings, select the system that you want to instrument
with the agent. Check “select all” and click “Retrieve Current Settings”. This will display
the current status of the agent setup.
    7. To initially setup or update the agents, click Setup Introscope Agent …. This will open
the setup dialog as shown below. Select the desired agent version (by default only one
available) and choose the profile. Next, check the desired instrumentation areas, and,
in the case of AIX, review the AIX settings to match your environment (J9 or classic
    mode).
    8. Finally, hit Apply to perform the necessary changes in the agent configuration. Agent
config files will be adapted and the Java VM parameters will be set as required for the
    managed system.
    ================================================================
    3. Restarted SAP but error still present.
Please help to resolve the issue.
    Thanks

  • Missing the qttask in system configuration utilities

missing the qttask in system configuration utilities

Do you have a copy of the QuickTime Player installed at the moment? (It's not included in iTunes 10.5.x installers.)

  • Problems With System Configuration

System Configuration is altered and not repairable. Selective startup is persistent. Normal startup is selected, but the Apply button is greyed out, inaccessible, and system always remains in Selective startup. As a result, Current User profile is probably
corrupted. Windows Store will not install (services are corrupt, SFC and DISM did not work). Outlook profile was deleted, needed to be reinstalled, and can not receive mail. Excel math engine totals values higher than actual amounts. IE automatically signs
into all Microsoft accounts (reset to default settings worked for a log on, but automatic sign in resumed afterwards).

Office diagnostics produced the following report.
    Diagnostic Results
None of the Microsoft Office Diagnostics found any problems.

Setup Diagnostic — File corruption or altered file
The Setup Diagnostic repaired problems with your installation of Microsoft Office. Your Microsoft Office programs should now function correctly.
If your Microsoft Office programs continue to crash, the source of the problem may be a hardware failure or hardware configuration problem. Review the results of the Disk and Memory Diagnostics to determine if a hardware failure is affecting your installation
    of the 2007 Office release.

    Setup Diagnostic — Missing media
The Setup Diagnostic was not completed because a valid source was not found. Either the local installation source is missing, or the original source that was used to install Microsoft Office is not available to the repair process. You may need to provide
the original source to allow this diagnostic to run successfully. Valid sources for the 2007 Office release include the following:
Your 2007 Office release installation CD
An installation disk or repair CD provided by the vendor of your computer
A connection to a network installation of the 2007 Office release
After you obtain access to a valid source, run Office Diagnostics again.

  • System Configurator is not working for R&A repository upgrade

    Hello All,
Can someone give us some direction on this ?
We are attempting to configure R&A database using upgrade from 9.3.3 option and providing the database connection details. On the next screen, the path of the RM directory provided is a unc path: \\server\RM1
UNC path provided as this is a clustered environment.
\\hyp11webt1/RM1 points to apps\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\epmsystem1\RM1 which the user has read/write access.

    Try the following:
1.-Set your test motor to encoder feedback instead of analog feedback.
2.-Load a velocity move on the axis for the test motor.
3.-Set the following error limit on you axis to 0 (disable following error).
4.-Use the load torque limit function to limit the amount of torque the 73xx PID loop will generate, this value is in volts, so you will need to do a correlation between the voltage output from the controller and the torque reported by your torque cell.
    5.- Start the load motor.
    6.-Engage the cluch.
7.-Start the velocity move on the test motor, you will see the torque ramp up to the torque limit.
8.-Call the load torque limit function on the fly to vary the torque setpoint to where you want it.

  • Technical Systems in Managed System Configuration greyed .

    Hi,
I upgraded ST-SER to 701_2010_1 SP0 and in the process of upgrading
this tool I had to also patch other components like ABAP,BASIS etc as
    pre-requisites for this.
As this involved all the components to be patched, I
executed the initial,Basic configuration in solman_setup and everything
    is fine.
In Initial I executed only the read SLD and skipped the other steps as
the other steps have been already executed after install of solution
    manager .
In Basic Configuration I have executed all steps and everything has
    executed successfully.
The problem is in Managed system configuration.
I have the Wily Introscope Manager Console showing all the statistics
of Agents and all Agents are attached.
The problem I see is first thing is the technical setting in the
Managed system diagnostics are greyed why is it ?
Second is when I execute the Managed system Diagnostics configuration , the first step Wily host agent fails all other steps are okay.
The error in this step is "No connection to any Wily Enterprise Manager"
    Appreciate any advise.
    Thanks,
    Misba

    Hello Diego,
I started getting this error only after I upgraded the tools, even now the Wily is up and running and I can see the dashboard with all the live diagnostics graphs and statistics for ABAP & JAVA. All the steps have executed successfully except this one step. Even trusted RFC's are okay. This was an established system with all configurations.
So I am surprised what I am missing.  Can you please explain to me more about how I can see " http://<ip>:<port>/SMD under "managed systems" ->Introscope Agent ".
All Agents are attached and in Agent adminstration I can see all the Agents online.
    Thanks,
    Misba

  • Providing system configuration info in an automated installer manifest.

In Solaris 11 Express it was possible to embed a system configuration xml file within the automated installer file. The documentation for this is here: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E19963-01/html/820-6566/customsc.html
However this functionality seems to be missing from 11.1 at the moment. I get xml validation errors if I try to use embedded system configuration xml. Does anyone know of a way to do this? We would like to automate Solaris 11.1 installs without having to run an auto install server.

    Please see the 11.1 documentation:

System configuration profiles are no longer embedded in the AI manifest but are provided in one or more separate files.

  • Adobe reader cannot open in protected mode due to an incompatibility with your system configuration.

I keep getting the error message: Adobe reader cannot open in protected mode due to an incompatibility with your system configuration.
I have Windows 7 Home basic Service pack 1 and have already uninstalled and re-downloaded Adobe reader XI twice. I have also read other threads on this forum, and
tried the suggestions, including running Kaspersky anti-rootkit, no threats were found.
My Adobe reader shortcut icon shows a small blue and yellow shield in the bottom right (I uninstalled Windows essential protection), but the problem prevails.
I would rather get to the root of the error and fix it and not just disable protection mode!
    Please help.

    Hi,
Please refer to the solution in:- Error: “Acrobat Failed to Load core DLL”.
Also, may want to try disabling all Non-Microsoft Startup Services.

  • SIU "Apply system configuration settings" and Connect computers to directory servers

    Good morning/Afternoon/Evening everyone.
I've currently been studying/researching imaging with OSX 10.9 server, using the SIU.  As I'm going through it, one option that is appealing to me, is the "COnnect computers to directory servers:" option under the Apply System configuration settings workflow action.
The issue is that when click on the + to add a server, it only comes up with Localhost (127.0.0.1) and won't give me the option to point to my OD server for binding.  Is there a way to change this, or some other option I am missing?
Also, I'm at a loss to find any setting in Profile manager that will enable/turn on "Remote management" for ARD and SSH.

Thank you for that link, it is insightful.  So let me throw this into the mix:
When it comes to ARD, we have to have a local user on the local machine, in order to login, correct? It won't allow us to have OD authenticated admins/users login to the client machine. Is that correct?
If that is the scenario, then how are we to lock down a situation where we are imaging multiple macs and have the potential to have admins changing or leaving, and a need to reset local machine admin credentials. Obviously we aren't going to do this individually per machine. This would also need to be done via scripting (or ARD CLI to our enterprise), but then each image needs to be updated or all new machines need to be touched after image/install.
Am I thinking of this the correct way?
Also, is it possible to create an image that has no local user at all, or is that just nonsense?

So far We only see the Configs ..but never bothered to check this !!

    Read the "Rules of Engagement"
    Specially under
    - Provide Enough Information.
Firstly i am glad that you understand the term 'SYSTEM Configuration" -->like majority of the members !!
I didn't get it... and believe me i read LOTS of threads... it should not be my task to interpret your thoughts
System configuration could mean anything passing through parameter changes (that is the information missing on your post)
    Regards
    Juan

  • NI System Configuration APIs - Init session - Error nierinterface.dll

    Hi,
i tried to use the VIs from the system configuration api:
    http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/373107E-01/nisyscfg/initialize_session/
When i start my VI or if i try to open the VIs "init session" i got the message
    System Error
    nierInterface.dll is missing.
    Reinstall the software.
    Google Search "nierinterface.dll" -> 0 resulst
    NI Forum Search "nierinterface.dll" -> 0 results
Can someone tell what DLL that is? How should I find it, when google doesn't know that :-) Very funny :-)

    Hi sjunge,
it seems that something went wrong during the installation process.
Which version of LabVIEW and which drivers are you using?
First I would try to reinstall the NI System Configuration you can finde it here:
    Downloads
Just search for "NI System Configuration". When choosing the version be sure to select a download which is compatible with the rest of your Software.
If reinstalling the NI System Configuration Tools don't work, I would recomment to do a reinstall / update of LabVIEW and the Drivers you need.
Ensure that you have admin rights and that you deactivated virus scanners or firewalls so they can't interfere during the installation process.
    Best Regards,
    Lam

  • Partner application configuration is missing error on SSO login page

We have APEX 3.1.2 setup as a partner application and an application within APEX setup to use SSO for authentication. Following a link to the APEX application redirects to the Single Sign-On page, as it should, but it also shows "Error: The partner application configuration is missing or expired." I type in my password and username, click the Login button, and (if I entered my username and password correctly, of course!) then the APEX application is shown. So, I cannot figure out why we're getting the no_papp_err error and I have not found any solutions to that issue on Metalink or anywhere else on the Internet. Any ideas? I'm concerned that we have a misconfiguration somewhere that is causing this error and will affect any other partner application we setup in the future.
We're on Oracle Portal 10.1.4, SSO 10.1.2, and SSL is setup on both infra and mid tiers.

Did you try checking the partner application entries on the SSO-login server page?
please login as orcladmin or some other user with membership in, i beleive, iasadmins group. verify that for this partner application, what you see here corresponds to the application URL. it looks like your login page call may have issues. so check for login url too.
also check the ORASSO.WWSSO_LS_CONFIGURATION_INFO$ for entries corresponding to Apex application.

  • Wwc- 41653 The partner application configuration is missing or expired.

    We have the following scenerio.
Application server 9iR1, apache server, login server, portal3.0.9.8.4 on 9iR2 database on host A. There is another database in 9iR2 where portal3.0.9.8.4 installed on host B. I want to use this database for another website configuring apache on host A as virtual host. I want to use same login server on host A.
The website on host A is working fine while the website on host B does not allow me to log into the login server.
I have run ssodatan script for associating portal schema on host B. I have created partner application on host A portal for accessing portal on host B and run ssodatax script for associating partner application.
when I try to log into the another web site created for host B, I get portal welcome page. when I click on login, I get sso page but i am unable to log into it, getting error The partner application configuration is missing or expired. Please contact the administrator. (WWC-41653)
    How to resolve this?

Were you able to resolve the issue???
Can you pls try Rerunning ssodatan/x with the correct data. The ssodatan script is located in the directory ORACLE_HOME/portal30/admin/plsql/ssodatan.
Refer following link for more info on SSODATAN , SSODATAX and DIAGNOSTICS scripts in Portal 3.0.x:
