System copy in EP does not ask for Traget Database

Hi,We want to migrate our Enterprise Portal Oracle Database to DB2.
While taking a system copy ,it does not prompt for Traget system atall.
We have successfully migrated ECC and BI Databases where it asked target DB but here it does not prompt,what could be the issue?
Several versions of SWPM are tried but not able to identify the issue.
Has anyone faced such error?
Please advice..

For Java system copy, an export of the system has to be created. Are you able to create the export via the Installation Master or SWPM? Please also mention the Netweaver version of the Enterprise Portal.

Erased all saved passwords, rebooted, now TB does not ask for new password!

I erased all saved passwords as I've had to change the passwords on my accounts. I then rebooted and now TB does not ask for new password. I have rebooted entire computer and still no change.

I presume you removed the passwords via Tools > Options > Security > Passwords tab.
Do you have these settings in Account Settings:
Tools > Account Settings > Server Settings for the mail account.
* select: 'Check for new messages at start up'
* select: 'check for new messages every eg: 15 minutes'
* select : 'Automatically download new messages'
make other prefered settings and click on OK to save changes.

Normally, we can change the receipient address, if we send. We can not change the receipient address of another user.
Check Note 685164 - Resending with recipient change.
As per this note Go to SM30 and add parameter "SOST_REC_CHANGE" value "X" in view "SXPARAMS".
Now, if you click "repeat send" icon, it will ask below two option in dialog box:
The message is sent again. You can change the recipient before
sending. The sent message then appears as a
as a new send request in the list
Send to same recipients again
Change recipients before sending
It is working to me ....

My iphone does not ask for password for itunes

Ever since I installed ios 6 to my 2 iphone 4's. It does not ask for a password to download games or make purchases. I have a 5 year old son who can now purchase at will, how do I reset or fix that? Where is my security?

Thanks for letting me know. I never even checked to see if it was configurable.
Edit: I don't see where you can turn enable or disable the requirement for a passcode for udates? Can you tell me where to find it? The path you referred to only seems to relate to purchases.

Application Server Control does not ask for password

Hi all-
I just installed App Server (as part of Collaboration Suite) and am working on security. For some reason, the App Server Control for the apps tier does not ask for a username/password. Anyone know how to fix that glaring hole? Infrastructure does ask for user/pass, just not apps.

I had to clear authenticated sessions AND cookies (in Firefox). Clearing only one or the other isn't enough.

Creative cloud does not ask for sign in

I renamed the opm file to old and reran creative cloud. It just created a new file and did not ask for a login????

If it does not resolve the issue then try to rename the OPM.DB file from the following location.
Win: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
Note: Please make sure your login ID does not contain any special character in it.

My mail opens up and does not ask for password

My mail will not aske fpr password it just opens on it own when safari opens help npt asking for password

I just hooked up my Apple TV - it is all connected correctly- when my wifi comes up on my tv screen i click and select it. It will not ask after it is already connected. Is ATV working? Can you connect to the iTunes store, Netflix, etc?

After upgrade firefox does not ask for restart

On Linux Mint when Firefox is opened and meanwhile operating system package manager upgrades Firefox, then FF does not notify me that it needs restart.
I notice it since some extension stops working. Later I have checked package manager logs and see, that FF had been updated. Wasn't in older versions so that FF notified me that restart is needed for firefox?
Is it a bug or I have some setting missing. I need notification window be visible as long as user closes it or firefox is restarted...

Looks like that yea. I found out that for Ubuntu there is xul-ext-ubufox package which should do almost needed thing. I will install it into mint.

New Mac Book Pro does not ask for password when waking from sleep

I've noticed that several others are having this problem. I have tried all of the suggestions on the other posts and have had no luck getting it to work.
I have it set to "require password to wake this computer from sleep or screensaver".
When I wake the computer in the morning it requires a password but if I wake it after and hour or two it does not. I have my screensaver set to turn on after 4 minutes but it never asks for a password when when I come back to my computer.
I think this is a bug and Apple should deal with it in a security update.
I'm open to any more suggestion though.

FYI, you can also lock your screen manually if you like. Launch Applications > Utilities > Keychain Access, select Keychain Access menu > Preferences > General tab, and check the box to "Show Status in Menu Bar." That places a padlock icon in your menu bar, and clicking on that will give you the option to Lock Screen.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

My apple tv does not ask for a password after connecting to wifi

I'm not tech savey at all!! I've just hooked up my apple tv. it connects to wifi but doesn't prompt me for a password. The wifi is password protected. Any ideas?

Unfortunately as AppleTV does not have a web browser it can't show that webpage to connect.
Just to be sure I assume this is a webpage with a company name of the wifi supplier for thata area/group of residences asking you to login using some credentials and accept terms and conditions, not a configuration page for a router or similar?
You might be able to share an internet connection from a computer over ethernet but sometimes the terms of these connections prohibit that.

Resume from standby does NOT ask for password--how to fix?

On my X240, when I resume from standby, I am NOT being asked for my password. But I want to.
In Power Manager, in Events, I keep setting Require password on standby resume to yes, but the computer comes out of standby when I touch the keyboard, without asking for my password.
NB I work with the laptop closed, and docked in a Targus dock. Under AC settings, for the lid closed event, I have set it to Do Nothing

Pardon a silly question, but is it actually resuming from standby or just re-activating the display? By that I mean that the screen is blank but the laptop isn't yet in standby mode.
How do you have the screen blank and standby timers set and how do they compare to the times that you observe the problem?

"Run Workflow" action in Automator does not "Ask for Finder Items"

So I have a workflow called step_1 that does a bunch of stuff . . . in essence, it "Asks for a Finder Item" and then runs some Python shells and then outputs an Applescript format list {'item_1','item_2','item_3'}
I'm trying to use this workflow in another workflow so I selected "Run Workflow" in Automator and located my original workflow step_1 but when I run it, the process goes straight through the workflow and doesn't "Ask for Finder Items" so i'm sure it doesn't do anything else in the workflow either. It doesn't give me an error, it just pretty much bypasses everything within the workflow and it's pretty annoying.
Any idea on how to get my workflow to work using "Run Workflow" ?

Never tired Run Workflow before so as as a test I rn these two
and the Ask for Finder items in the called workflow ran OK.
Note this was run from Automator. One thing I did see was that the Ask for finder items window did not come to the front and I had to look under my open windows to see it.
