System defined infoobject 0MATERIAL is edited

One of the system defined infoobject 0Material has been edited , after which it's not responding at all to any other info providers or Datasources .
For e.g. when this 0MATERIAL is being "inserted as a infoprovider" , after creating a datasource its corresponding transformation or DTP is not getting created in the infoprovider space.
Can I install the 0material info object from any other instances as installing from business content is throwing error.
Could someone please guide , how can I get back the info object with original settings and configuration without affecting its master data
It's bit urgent, quick reply would be much appreciated.

Hi Deblina,
Is 0MATERIAL not in active form in your system?
If not then, try repairing it with RSRV. If there is a problem with data available in it then try adjust all 0MATERIAL master tables with SE14. Better delete data and reload.
If this is about transformation and DTP not getting crerated then...it's not becasue of reason that you have inserted this as infoprovider.
Make sure that both your target (IO) and Source (Datasource) are active in system and then try create transformation and DTP. It should work.

How to prove it is system defined

In Mi03 transaction, if you go and edit the transaction displays material, material description followed by Stock Type, where should I define stock type in IMG settings so that the list will display in the scroll bar. Will anyone guide me. if it is system defined how to prove will anyone guide me.

VC Error: There are no BI systems defined in portal/ no authorization

Hi,
when trying to launch the BI integration wizard on an iview in Visual Composer in the ESA Discovery system I get the follwing error message:
"WARNING 2005: There are no BI systems defined in portal. In order to use BI integration wizard, you must first define at least one BI system based on the BI XMLA, BI ODBO, BI JDBC, or BI SAP Query Connector."
When I click on the "Find data" button in VC I am able to see the names of BI systems in the System drop down box and can search queries and execute them. So the BI must be connected.
I did not change the original configuration of portal or VC.
When trying to launch the MDX editor or SQL editor I get the error message that I am not authorized to do this, but I am logged on as user admin or user j2ee_admin.
Can somebody help me please

We recently built a new system which is Copy of another system.We decomission our old system.Now when ABAPer is trying to edit Z/Y programs in se38 they are getting message "SAP System is not the original system of the object being edited".We already completed all post process after system copy.Client is open and status in Golbal modifiable in se06.
How we can resolve this situation.

We rebuild new development system from the exsisting devlopment system and scrap old one.And yes thats true that new system is not the original system where object was created,its a replica of old dev to nev dev with SID change.

As i said earlier,post intallation is already completed.
Its a problem for developer who's getting some different format of screen when they editing development object ,like, when we perform manaul corretion in abap code through snote.They can see buttons to insert code line,delete line.

Hi Experts.
I have the following problem. We were set up the XI in our company and now we are trying to configure and run it propertly. We had some problems so far and now there is the next one: I configured the simple scenario FILE-XI-FILE but it doesn't work :(. Every step from the scenario was completed successfully (after some problems) but when I have started runtime Workbench (RWB) in order to monitor the functionality of XI and I choosed Component Monitoring | Components | Integration Server | Integration Engine GPI I see that I have an error in Self-Test Status | Are roles in SXML_CONF_ITEMS and SLD consistent? In detail it's No role for business system defined in SXMS_CONF_ITEMS. My business and technical systems look to be well configured but now I'm hopeless because I can't find nothing more specific about SXMS_CONF_ITEMS table. I tried some notes and threads from the forum but nothing helped me after all. So please help if someone has an experience with something similar. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Check in transaction SXMB_ADM -> integration engine configuration a parameter (Corresponding Integ. Server) if all parameters are correct n not lost.

go to Scenario tab, Object -> New , Select the configuration scenario enter the configuration scenario name then save.
Expand Service without party ->Select the business system and right click click on next, next select your business systemd.
IF business system not appeared in ID..go to Environment -> Clear SLD data cache.
again try to assign the business system.

Cisco Prime 2.0 - System-Defined Jobs keep running

Hi PI Experts,
The following two jobs keep running for two weeks. Is it normal?
They are under Job Dashboard -> System-Defined.
Not sure what are they for. Cannot find them with google.
Is there any way to stop them from running if it's not normal?

The names of mine indicate Memory, Envmonitoring, CPU and Availability-
By the looks of the names on your two processes that aren't finishing it appears they have something to do with VPN.
This raises the question: are you monitoring any devices that are VPN capable? If no, perhaps you could disable that functionality on the monitored device...

A system definition or system object is created in the portal under: System Administration, System Configuration, Landscape (right click, create system) The system object can point to a backend SAP system , a webserver etc etc. You essentially configure the connection information in the system object to prevent 'hard-coding' any connection information in individual iViews.
Here are some examples of the type of system you can configure (in EP6 SP18):

Meter Validation Steps:
1.     The Validation Process begins with Meter Reading Order Creation when the expected consumption is determined for the meter reading to be recorded for each register. The meter reading status is u201C0u201D or un-entered at this time.
2.     The meter reading is entered via an upload program as part of the batch processing or entered manually.
This result is validated or evaluated against the permitted range of allowable meter reads/consumption for that register. The expected consumption is the basis for determining the range of the minimum and maximum values for the meter reading.
If the result is plausible, or valid, for all registers of the meter, the billing order becomes billable and the contract/installation is passed to billing for further processing. The meter reading status is updated to u201C1u201D or billable.
If the meter reading is validated as implausible, the meter reading result is transferred to the List of Implausibles for further processing (EL70). The status of the meter reading is u201C2u201D or automatically blocked. One or more independent validations can be failed in this validation process.
3.     During processing, the agent can release the meter reading for billing; the status is updated to u201C4u201D, released by clerk. The reading is accepted as measured. The agent can also process the implausible meter reading result using transaction code: EL27 Execute Correct Implausible Meter Reading Results. EL27 is recommended for individual processing.

EL70 is recommended for processing of implausibles for mass processing. It is not on the menu, however, one way to open the screen is:

Once the screen opens, click on the List button on the application toolbar
4.     The agent may also correct the meter reading. If this corrected read is validated as within range, the status is updated to u201C1u201D, billable.
5.     Alternatively, the reading can be determined to require follow up action and a service order is executed from the IC for re-read. A read status has been configured to support this flagging of the account for follow-up service order processing.
6.     When the service order is returned from the field, the CSR releases corrects, resets or possibly estimates the meter reading depending on the outcome of the service order processing.
7.     The meter reading is then passed to the billing engine for billing execution when the reading is validated as plausible.

You cannot provide default values for any attributes defined in the FormMetaData.xml file. You can only provide default values for fields defined in the User Defined Fields and supply a default value.
You can using entity adapters to populate some of the values, but you must supply an Organization because there is an entity adapter that you cannot modify that verifies the organization name.
