Try the following.
Right click the Start Menu icon, select Command Prompt (Admin), click ‘Yes’ to the uac prompt and enter the following commands - hit enter after each one.
diskpart
list volume ( make a note of the number assigned to the usb flash drive )
select volume X ( replace X with the number assigned to the usb flash drive )
attributes disk clear readonly
After you get the prompt that the write protect has been removed, type exit and hit enter, then type exit and hit enter again.

"IWD Bus Enumerator disabled" error message in LSC after Windows 8.1 upgrade

Hi there,
I just upgraded my T430 from Windows 8 64-bit to Windows 8.1 64-bit.
After restart, LSC shows an "IWD Bus Enumerator disabled" error message. I went to the device manager, right clicked on IWD Bus Enumerator and selected the "update driver software" option. Message came back that the latest driver is already installed. By the way, in the device manager there are two lines "IWD Bus Enumerator", where the first line is normal (i.e., enabled), and the second line shows that error message (yellow triangle).
What next? Any ideas? My laptop seems to work fine, otherwise.

I resolved my issue by going to device manager and selecting View Hidden Devices - then expand System Devices
In my case there were 2 listings for IWD BUS ENUMERATOR - one had the yellow triangle - I uninstalled that one and restarted my laptop and the message was gone. If that does not work make sure you get the latest drivers from Lenovo and also visit Intel.com and search for WiDi - they have some programs to check drivers.

Server error log and system event log may provide more detail. This is a severe system-level error condition that threatens database integrity and must be corrected immediately
Write error during log flush.
Error: 9001, Severity: 21, State: 4.
The log for database 'DBNAME' is not available
We have checked the Anti Virus but all data files are excluded. We have also disabled the anti virus for some time but still issue persist.
This is a Virtual Machine and no VM snapshot backup is running during the time window.
Please help!

I sense a disk issue here( I am not sure).Log for database is not available seems when data needs to be written on log file it was not avaialble.Can you check with storage team that disk on which SQL server files reside is OK
Secondly did you run DBCC CHECKDB for your database in picture can you paste result of it.

We run Windows 7 Ent 64 bit OS in our company and recently we have started getting the following error "Installation is forbidden by system policy - Error: 1625" when installing Adobe Products even though i am logged in as an Administrator.
We do not have any policies configured in our enviroment to restrict installations.

Possible Causes
You're not logged in as an administrator.
Your Windows Installer system policy prevents you from installing digitally-signed software updates.
Solutions

If that doesn't work, you will need to enable installation of digitally-signed software updates:
Windows 7, 8 or Vista

Having trouble updating apps due to "Your Apple ID Has Been Disabled" error on IPhone 3GS and Windows 7 ITunes. How can I reset?

Welcome to the Apple community.
When your account becomes disabled, Apple provides the following recommendation:
"This message means that someone tried and failed to sign in to your account multiple times. The Apple ID system disables the account to prevent unauthorized people from gaining access to your information. You need to reset your password, following the instructions at the Apple ID website".
Visit iForgot.com and follow the instructions there
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > store, scroll down and tap your ID)

System fan error on g62-352ca on startup. are there two fans ie a cpu fan and a system fan?

I get a system fan error on power up? Are there two fans in the G52-352CA? Ie a general system fan and a CPU cooling fan or just the one CPU/heatsink fan?
If it is the CPU/heatsink fan then there are 4 part numbers for different options. Is there some way to tell from the model number or features as to which is needed. I would prefer to have the part in hand before opening everything up. Are there better fans to buy and if so how do I find them? This unit was always running a little on the warm/hot side,
