System error: bus error : address error !!!!! What can be done? (OS 9.1)
These have been coming up sporadically, but with increasing frequency.
Can anybody point me in the right direction to resolve this?

it can also be a cause from a extension conflict or hardware not liking the OS installed. i have a ATI Radeon 7000 and i have a Os 9.2.1 install , after i install the Os 9.2.1 and try to reboot when it tryes to load it will bomb out when its loading the extensions. but if i stay in the installer and run the OS 9.2.2 update i can reboot just fine. if i boot without updating to O S9.2.2 i have to putt the video card out to boot into Os 9.2.1 and then update to OS 9.2.2. only then can i reinstall the video card.
but that goes to show you it can be hardware not liking somthing or a extension conflict. or a combination of both.
like what was said above about the Personality card is correct cause they tend to creep out there socket and reak havok on the system. the only way to fix it is to remove it and put it back into the slot firmly. not to hard cause you can hurt the card

Number of System Log Errors Increasing During Nightly Backup - What Can Be Done?
Right now, I'm getting quite a number of warnings and errors with my nightly (wbadmin) backups to external USB drive using Windows 8.1 and the Spring Update. Fortunately, the VSS-integrated system image backups are still sound, but it seems as though
Windows 8.1 is becoming less and less aware and tolerant of them. That's not right!
With Windows 8.1 before the Spring Update I was seeing the warnings, but not the FilterManager errors. The update brought the errors.
Perhaps not too many Windows 8 users use wbadmin start backup -vssFull commands to do their backups, but I'm sure a lot of folks running Server 2012 do.
What can be done to make the backup process smoother and eliminate these warnings and errors?
Here's the specific list of warnings / errors I got from last night, which started at 2:00am and ran to 4:26am:
As usual, clicking the Event Log Online Help button yields: "We're sorry, but the page you requested could not be found. You can search on TechNet for more information." Microsoft, you know that needs to be fixed too, right?
The specific command I'm using, via the Task Scheduler, is:
wbadmin start backup -allCritial -vssFull -quiet -backupTarget:G:\
For those who might suggest 3rd party backup, bear in mind I very much want the VSS integration that Windows Backup provides, and while wbadmin is producing backups that can actually be restored I can ignore these warnings and errors. But it would
be nice to not have them.
And yes, I've considered 3rd party backup solutions, but while wbadmin is producing VSS-integrated system image backups that can be restored from the Windows startup recovery environment I'd prefer those.

what can be done to avoid getting the following error when trying to delete unused clips in Imovie 09 "the operation could not be completed. *** -[__NSArrayM insertObject:atIndex:]: object cannot be nil" I use to get these type of error messages when trying to delete unsused clips from a large event 60 minutes or longer, but now I get this message when trying to reduce a 4 minute event.

It goes something like this...
Put your new drive in the enclosure. Use Disk Utility to format it, etc. I'd give it a slightly different name than the original. Let's say you have Old Disk and New Disk as your drive names. Use Carbon Copy Cloner to copy Old Disk to New Disk. Now you should have an exact copy, which you can test by rebooting and holding down the Option key. Choose New Disk from the list and let it boot, make sure all is well.
Shut down and physically swap the drives. Take Old Disk and put it in the enclosure. Now your system has a new disk with a lot more space and you can reformat your old disk and just use it for large files or whatever. -
Hi, I recently updated to iOS 8.0 on my Ipad mini however when i try to agree to the new terms and conditions i get an error message saying either 'Cannot connect to server' or 'Your session has timed out please try again' what can be done to resolve this problem? Also i cannot download anything from the App store as a result of this.

I am unable to sync all my selected songs to my iphone. The error message is that the computer is not authorized. However, I have authorized the computer and iTunes confirms that. Any ideas what can be done to fix this. My phone is an iPhone 4S.
Were some of the songs purchased from a different itunes account?

i can copy about 200 songs onto my IPod video then on itunes it says that there is an error. what can i do to resolve this? i have deleted everything on it more than once.. i need help please?
What is the error message? Have you tried adding content onto your iPod in smaller batches, say a couple of hundred songs or so? Does the error always appear at a particular song?

Attempting to update itunes, received system error" Program can't start because MSVCR80.dll is missing from computer, try reinstalling the program to fix the problem. Question, I can't access Itunes to backup library, how do I reinstall without loosing music library?
It doesn't matter and doing a manual install will not fix the problem either. I'm looking for a solution but no luck yet. I think Apple has given us a bad update.

This error is often related to USB timing. Try changing USB ports, using a different dock connector to USB cable, and other available USB troubleshooting steps (troubleshooting USB connections. If you are using a dock, bypass it and connect directly to the white Apple USB dock connector cable. If the issue persists on a known-good computer, the device may need service.
If the issue is not resolved by USB isolation troubleshooting, and another computer is not available, try these steps to resolve the issue:
Connect the device to iTunes, confirm that the device is in Recovery Mode. If it's not in Recovery Mode,put it into Recovery Mode.
Restore and wait for the error.
When prompted, click OK.
Close and reopen iTunes while the device remains connected.
The device should now be recognized in Recovery Mode again.
Try to restore again.
If the steps above do not resolve the issue, try restoring using a known-good USB cable, computer, and network connection.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.
