!!System error in program SAPLRS_EXCEPTION and form RS_EXCEPTION_TO_MESSAGE

Hi Gurus,
Mater data text loading from a DSO to a InfoObject has failed in the process Chain at DTP step while trying to extract Data packet 2 from the DSO.
In the log i am getting following error message:
"System error in program SAPLRS_EXCEPTION and form RS_EXCEPTION_TO_MESSAGE (see long text)
Message no. BRAIN299".
Please help urgent.
FYI.....
we have recently done upgrade from BI/ABAP SP11 to SP15 and the latest Java SP || 14 (both included in SPS 14).

SQL Error: INVALID_CURSOR
Message no. DBMAN257
In addition to the note recommended by Des, please also refer to Notes 1491745 & 460652 which have resolved similar issues in the past.

When I refresh a query/workbook getting following error message and can not proceed further..

We are using BW 3.5 and BEX reports.
I'd appreciate if you could help me on this

I don't know if you have since been able to resolve this problem.
Anyway, for future reference, I have just had the same error message and was able to resolve it by simply removing and then reinstalling one of the characteristics, together with its variables and filters, in the free characteristics section of the query.
Hope that this is of help to someone.

Are you getting an ST22 dump in the backend, we used to get this kind of error in case of hierarchies, please check 2 things
1. Agg level is active
2. Check the query (option is available on query designer)

Diagnosis
This internal error is an intended termination resulting from a program state that is not permitted.
Procedure
Analyze the situation and inform SAP.
If the termination occurred when you executed a query or Web template, or during interaction in the planning modeler, and if you can reproduce this termination, record a trace (transaction RSTT).
For more information about recording a trace, see the documentation for the trace tool environment as well as SAP Note 899572.

I am trying to execute a report and it gives me this error "system error in program SAPLRRI2 and form LRECH_SUMM_FUELLEN_6-01" I have done a bunch of cell editing stuff and when I go and see each cell looks good,I am not able to figure out where exactly this issue is. Can anyone help me with this. I tried to even switch on the Trace in RSRTRACE but it goes to the debugger and stuck in some SAP code. Don't know what exactly the problem is. Any help would be appreciated.

When I am trying to execute a query i get the error message below.
System error in program SAPLRRI2 and form BEST_WGR_02-01- (see long text)
Error when generating dataProvider
The Same query can be executed after restarting BI server.( Hope No one recommends restarting BI server always).
I am using SAP BI Patch level 3.
Internet explorer 7
Gui 6.4
At the same time it is unable to disply variable screen in BEx Analyser with IE 7(Variable entry Screen appeares but No Input boxes are seen). Its Working fine with IE 6.
Any Solution For This.

IE 7 is not so compitable with BEx. It always has the Popups problem..

One of the users is trying to run a report in Production using BEx analyser and gets the following error.
BI Server error:
Program error in class SAPMSSY1 method: UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION
System Error in program SAPLRRS2 and form GET_SID-1 -(see long text)
I have already run the SAP Note 1237190 but there is no use as the error comes up again.
Could any one please help to resolve this issue.

Thanks for the reply.
But I dont think that note is applicable for this error as this error pops as soon as the selection screen is past and before the report is displayed.
This is not happening with all the users though.
Its a random problem only.

Hi there
I get the error message
"System error in program SAPLRRS2 and form SELOPT_ASSIGN-01-"
when trying to run a web template from the portal. If I run it from WAD, it runs perfectly. If I then run the same template from the portal, with the same user, I get the above error message.
If I click on the message, I get further information, which says
"Portal Runtime Error
An exception occurred while processing a request for :
iView : com.sap.portal.contentfetching.BWTunnel
Component Name : com.sap.portal.contentfetching.BWTunnel"
Any ideas on what this can be?
I am able to run other templates as this user.

Go to RSRT transaction and Generate the report (query) once again.

Hi Gurus,
I am getting error 'system error in program SAPLRRI2 and form FEMS_IN_FORMULA_GET-01' while checking and executing a query.
The scenario is :
- The query is using Replacement path formula variables and when I do remove these the error disappears.
- I recreated the same formula variable but the error message reappears.
- We are separating systems (moving on to new system) and the query runs absolutely fine in the old system.
- The same variable is been used in some other queries as well but they run absolutely fine without any error.
Any suggestions what is going wrong ? Should I raise an OSS to SAP, thats going to be the final GO !!
I have tried almost doing all things but the error remains the same. This is quiet urgent and Reply will be much appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. OSS note 982328 becomes irrelevant in my case as we are on SAP BW 7.3 and SP SAPKW73003. So this is the most recent and latest version of SAP.
One more update is I tried regenerating the query in RSRT/RSRT1 but it starts in debug mode. This is of more worry to me now. Any suggestions or solutions are welcome, meanwhile I will raise this to SAP.

Also, I checked the SAP Note : 858671 and 1094948.
As for my BW system, the system component information is SAP Netweaver BI 7.0 Release 700 Level 0019. Does it mean the both sapnotes alreay apply to my sap system?
Could anyone please advices me in this issue? I am so newbie in SAP BW. I'm so apology if they already have a forum or a note that related to my issue.

A per my experience and and observation. Message_type_x issue will occur in two scenarios.
1) When ever Sytesm copy happend.
2) Triggering of info package twice at a same time.
Case1:
When ever system copy happens, we will have init request still pointing to the Previous targer syatem's in Init.
Thsi can be resolved by reinitilization of source request.
Note: Make sure that Init reqiuest is same in both Source and Target systems.
Case 2:
Message_type_x May occur by triggering the info package at a same time twice(some time we also get xx request is inprocess alert).
With respect to the following blog:
Kindly check the request in RSMDATASTATE.
1) Request SID for which all requests are technically o.k.
2) Request SID for which all requests checked for quality.
3) Request SID, up to which aggregates are to be rolled up.

I have read OSS note 907533 but from what I see in this note, I conclude the repair instruction
only for SAP BI 7.0 so this note not for SAP BW 3.5.
I have use button "Check query" and everthing is fine.
Is there someone who can solve my problem?Thank you

This question is interesting.
One of my users got the same message today. Wednesday, she ran some queries that had 3 variables on them. She had no problems. Yesterday, she tried to run the same queries, and one of the three variables did not show up on the variable screen. The characteristic in question is not authorization relevent. Others had no problems with these queries.
Today, I created a new query using the characteristic with no variables. It ran fine for her. I added the variable and she got the error message.
So, I would really appreciate an answer to this thread!

Executing query error: System error in program SAPLRRI2 and form REP_A

Hello Experts,
I am facing problem while executing query.
I have activated a query from BI content. The query is activated successfully in development and running successfully in development, so I transported the same into QA.
When I execute this query into quality, automatically debuger opens. After I come out of debuger I get following error message:

Error when generating dataProvider "
This query is using some standard structures, which are running successfully in other queries in QA.

Hi,
Try to regenerate the query in RSRT t.code.
   ie) RSRT - give the query name - Generate report ( icon will be there near to Execute + debug) .
After generating the report, (logoff and login )try to execute the query again ..if the above solution doesn't work, check the below OSS notes which may help for you.

System error in program CL_RSR_CLIENT and form MENU_SEL_ITEM

Hi,
After a system copy (BWP to BWT) we encounter a problem with reports containing documents the BWT environment.
At first I thought it was a problem with the Java stack, but now I am not so sure anymore.
When running a report in RSRT (for example in BEx mode), we see the report details.
When we use the menu on the InfoObject which is containing the documents and than choose: goto - display documents we receive the error: "system error in program CL_RSR_CLIENT and form MENU_SEL_ITEM"
If I run the report in the WEB we also see the report, but now we receive the message:
Message: Error for query in BI system: JCO System name for alias BWP not found in portal
Stack trace: com.sapportals.wcm.repository.ResourceException: Error for query in BI system: JCO System name for alias BWP not found in portal
As you can see the error is pointing at the BWP instead of the BWT.
Can anyone help me solve this problem?
