System error message while using maps check in

today i got a lot of system error messages while using maps check in feature, and i tried everything from factory default to reinstalling mobile software and formating everything and yet nothing changed idk what to do and i use the maps application a lot of times so i need this problem fixed please
am using Nokia 500 btw

N97 system error message when starting Maps

Hi all,
I do get a system error message when starting the maps app.
I know that this is not a new topic but I did not find after intensive search a solution.
- Firmware is updated
- soft reset done
- it seems that the app is not installed
- have deleted the cities folder and the qf file
Unfortunately no change - maps app does not start.
Not sure that this is important but I want to mention this for the sake of completeness:
- the maps did work once
- when I started them the next day and I was at a different location it still showed the location of the previous evening abnd did not recognize where the phone was
- after some time I could not start the the maps app.
Any help greatly appreciated!

This phone is driving me crazy...so many problems.. latest among others is, opening maps it gives me the error like you all mentioned above.. so how and where do I go to download what you mentioned... and I did try to go into"download" and my phone just says I don't have enough memory to download anything.. Error message while using extension in notifications summary page in PO

Hi,
I am getting the below error messages while trying to add couple of columns in Purchasing, notifications summay. The files are located in folders 'JDEV_HOME/xx/oracle/apps/icx/por/wf/server' and I have no idea what this error means.

Thanks for the reply. I tried to place all the files into myclasses and my projects path is JAVA_HOME\oracle\apps\icx\por\wf\server and JAVA_HOME\xx\oracle\apps\icx\por\wf\server. I did one more mistake of not ftp'ing the class files in binary format. It compiled and no errors.
I have moved all the required files from these folders into $JAVA_TOP/xx/oracle/apps/icx/por/wf/server folder. One thing I observed is that jdeveloper is producing below files and is missing XXReqLinesNotificatinsVOImpl.class. I followed all the steps to include the custom sql into the view object.

Error message while using iTunes and iPhoto

I received an error message saying,no more space available, after exporting pictures from iPad iPhoto to iTunes while my iPad was connected to my PC. I had exported several albums from iPhoto without a problem then I received the error message. Can someone help me find a way to export pictures from iPad to the PC using the iTunes iPhoto app sharing feature?

The information you are giving me is helping but unfortunately I am not syncing anything to my iPad I am just trying to remove/export photos from my iPad TO my windows PC so I can then store those pictures on a USB.
This I understood, but I was concerned, that iTunes may be set to automatically sync to your iPad - iTunes might start automatically to upload media to the iPad, once your iPad is connected to USB, even if you are only trying to import photos from the iPad. Do you have any syncing options enabled? Check the other tabs in the sync panel for your devive, not only the Apps section in the General panel.

Error Message while using Safari

Hi,
My problem is that I use WINDOWS LIVE MAIL to fetch my Hotmail / Live email... If I go and set safari as default and even then go and set it as default in the program and under DEFAULT PROGRAMS
if I open a email and click a link SAFARI OPENS but I get an error saying WINDOWS CANNOT FIND HTTP://WWW.FACEBOOKCOM/USERNAME PLEASE CHECK THE LINK AND TRY AGAIN
Even though the link sucessfully opens, I get that error everytime.... Please tell me why!

DDE is dynamic data exchange ... it's an IE/Windows thing that I've never properly understood. But occasionally it can cause issues with launching Safari and/or Firefox from links, so I thought it was worth a crack.
We'd better check on malware just in case. Sometimes, adware "browser helper objects" can do odd things to links in this way.
Try downloading and installing the free trial version of Malwarebytes. Update the Malwarebytes definitions and run a scan of the PC.

Does the Malwarebytes scan pick up any infections? If so, what does it call them?
If you remove any infections with Malwarebytes, does that stop the error message?

Error messages when using Mapping Styles to tags

We are using the XML Export from Indesign as part of our translation workflow. This has been fine until today. I am trying to tag an older document and when I use the Mapping Styles to Tags option I get the following error message:
"Cannot tag the selected text because the text contains part of a hyperlink or cross reference. Change the text selection to include the entire hyperlink or cross-reference"
I have no text selected, and I have tried tagging each Cross-Reference in the document and then repeating the map styles to tags all with no result. I don't really understand the message. Can anybody help me?
I'm using InDesign CS6 Verison 8.0.1 on a MacBook Pro OSx 10.6.8

Do you still have the original version of ID in which the file was made? If so, try the export to interchange from that. It frequently works better than after conversionin a new version. Open the exported file in CS6 and try your mapping again.
If that still doesn't work, we'll need someone else to step in who has some XML experience.

Hi,
The utility is case sensitive, in your parameters you have put /S:PLAN but in your copyapp.properties you have lowercase plan_
so the utility is looking for PLAN_JDBC_DATABASE_TYPE and won't find it because you have plan_JDBC_DATABASE_TYPE
either change the parameter or the properties file to match

"After Effects can't find Quicktime installed on this system" error message. Using Mac 10.9.2

First time I've had to launch After Effects Creative cloud on my new mac running 10.9.2
I keep getting an error message saying AE can't find quicktime installed on this system.
I've been able to work in After Effects but can't make a quicktime movie from a composition.
Anyone have this problem solved yet?

Error messages while using PS CS 5 on New Mac OS 10.9.4

Hello,
I recently started using my old version of Photoshop CS5 on a new Mac: OSX 10.9.4. I am receiving two messages that I have never seen and would like assistance in understanding and/or solving the issues.
Upon opening PS, I receive this message:
“Could not synchronize the color settings because of a program error.”
After trying to change some of the settings in my preferences, upon closing PS I get the following message:
“Could not save Preferences because the file is locked or you do not have the necessary access privileges. Use the ‘Get Info’ command in the Finder to unlock the file or change permissions on the file or enclosing folders.”
Can anyone please advise what these mean and how to solve the issues.

I don't use a Mac but have seen appends here where some Photoshop Mac installs file permission are not correct. It sound like that may be your problem try doing a search her on Mac and permissions

Error message while using formula in a Ifthen function

Hi all,
I have a problem with IfThen (or If) function in Financial Reporting. I add a formula column and write this simple function.
IfThen([A]=[A],[A],0). It returns #ERROR. I have tested the same function in another environment. It works fine.
I do not know if there is a configuration problem or not. All the other functions are working, but I cannot use If statements.
I use essbase connection. Do you have any ideas?

System error 86 while mapping c$

Hi, thanks for your time. I'm having the next issue:
I work on a domain network. Usually, we image computers and then join them to a domain.
However, i find it impossible to do anything to an unjoined computer because i get system error 86. Im trying to map c$ from my computer (which is in a domain) with the local administrator credentials from the other computer. The command goes like this:
net use k: \\ipaddress\c$ password /u:localadmin
output:
System error 86 has occurred.
The specified network password is not correct
I have checked many times the local administrator password and im typing it right, i have disabled the firewall, i have run all the services on the computer, and enabled netbios. Nothing works.
The problem is not exactly trying to map c$, i have noticed that once i'm able to map this drive, i can also connect to WMI on this machine from a remote computer. The objective of this is that i'm trying to run a couple of powershell scrits that involve
getting a wmi-object from a remote computer (this doesnt work either because i get ACCESS_DENIED using local admin credentials from the machine im trying to access.).
Im doing this from a Win7 machine to a XP machine. I've tried XP to XP but it doesnt work either.

OK, I had this problem this morning, and I couldn't find a good answer, including this thread. I'm hoping that giving a thorough answer will help others.
scenario:
You have a computer in a domain (like your work computer). you would like to connect to a workgroup computer and see its files (like your home computer). you cannot browse to the computer and if you try to map the network path you get "system error 86" or system
error 1326". (To map the network path you may try NET USE \\computername\path password /USER:computername\username)
resolution:
To troubleshoot this please try to setup the ideal setup first. Once you have it going you can change to settings you like:
1. disable the workgroup/home computers firewall
you need to do this since both file sharing and kerberos can be stopped by the firewall
2. turn on file sharing on the workgroup/home computer on the network card used
3. create an administrator account on the workgroup/home computer that has the same username AND password as your domain useraccount on the domain computer
4. on your workgroup/home computer, start local security policies secpol.msc and turn on
a) local policies:audit policy: audit account login events: failure
b) security options: Network security: LAN Manager authentication level: Send LM & NTLM - use NTLMv2 session security if negotiated
c) network access:sharing and security model for local accounts : Classic
5. Make sure both computer clocks are showing correctly

Getting error message while updating Job attributes using PP03 for IT1641

Hey Guys,
We are getting error message while updating Job attributes using transaction PP03 for IT1641 (WC Attributes for JOB): 'Client has status not modifiable'.
Update to the infotype 1641 should not require open SAP system. Would anyone suggest any SAP note/solution?

Unable to capture error message while creating an SO using bapi

Hi,
Can anybody suggest how to capture the error message while creating a SO using BAPI.
I have developed a customeized BAPI and using the BDC format to create the SO.
Note: i am using a call transaction method for the BDC.
I am sending the message into message1.
but i am unable to send the same into an internal table

Hi Shyam
If my understanding is correct, you are performing BDC process within the customized BAPI...
And you want to collect the messages from BDC to an internal table and pass to the output.
Proceed as below:
1. While calling BDC, use CALL TRANSACTION .... with addition: MESSAGES INTO itab. The structure of itab should be like BDCMSGCOLL.
2. Now the messages will be collected in ita.
3. Prepare the messages using FM: FORMAT_MESSAGE
4. Collect to the returning table.

Though i could not understand the reason of creating a BDC within BAPI, you can opt for loading orders via BAPI's like: BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT1 or BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2.
