System get hanging

When i try to read my mail in my inbox system get hanging and outlook shows no responding. Please help me to solve this issue.

Hi anj,
Check the issue of third party plug-ins by using the “outlook.exe / safe” command (safe mode of Outlook) and disable those plug-ins if you find something wrong due to them.
Hanging, freezing and Outlook errors most commonly depend on the give some factors:
*Antivirus/Firewall settings
*Wrong settings of Outlook profile
*Huge size of PST File
*Corrupt Outlook Data File
*Slow Internet Connection
As solution, you should check each factor one of by one till you don’t get the appropriate solution. At last, you can apply a repair on Outlook which is also known as scanpst.exe or Inbox Repair Utility (as it’s totally free and exists within your machine).

Display on Qosmio F60-10U Turns Mozaic and System Getting Hang

From The Day I purchased F60-10U; i am facing thins problem. My display occasionally Turns into Mozaic and same time System Getting Hang. only thing i can do is restart with power button.
i had given to service center; they told that its because of virus and need to be formatted. as i was 100% sure that its not because of virus; i took back from there.
I had tried below:
1. Update Display Driver
2. Downgrade Display Driver
3. Factory reset
4. Scan for virus with various engines
5. Updated All Drivers
Nothing works...
Anybody else has got same problem?

I dont think this issue has anything to do with virus and I believe graphic card is defective. All you have done is right and after factory image installation virus will be killed and everything should work well.
Contact service again, let them test with factory settings and if the same will happen again I presume they will exchange motherboard.

System getting hanged whilst using Insert into table select * from table

I have a peculiar problem.
I am using the below statements:
Query 1:
insert into table ppms.erin_out@ppms_dblink select * from erin_out;
Query 2:
insert into table ppms.erin_out@ppms_dblink values(23,'dffgg',12',dfdfdgg,dfdfdg);
I am in 'interfaces' schema (testing server) and executing above statements. We have testing server and development server, both are identical, i.e one is clone of the other.
ppms_dblink is created in interfaces schema. ppms_dblink points to different database server which has two schemas 'clarity' and 'ppms'. ppms_dblink is create through authentication details of clarity schema.
erin_out table is created on ppms schema on the same dababase server pointed by ppms_dblink.
Question is :
TOAD hangs while running query 1.
Query 2 is working perfectly.
As I have pl/sql script which is using query 1. I want to know why query 1 is creating problem.
If I use query 2 in my pl/sql query then it may create performance issue as i have to use cursor then.
On clarity schema, I have insert, update, select, modify rights on ppms.erin_out.
I have tried same queries from another database server.
That is I tried queries from 'interfaces' schema of development server ( clone of the testing server ). Its working perfectly.

The table from which I select rows, to insert into table on dblink, is having only one record. It may contatin maximum 100 rows at a time because I am scheduling the procedure through daemon process. Anyway transaction is not more than 100 records. I am trying with just 1 record for testing.
So 1) Problem is not about the cost, TOAD is getting hanged ( to insert 1 record, cost does not mean much)
2) there is no large amount of data, so no question of deteriorated performance

Crystal reports gets Hang

Dear Friends,
We are using AR invoice ,QTN, Del.Challan prints outs thr' Crystal report.
When we open it for taking prints ,its gets open but after that system gets HANG.
Then up to making END TASK ,it remain as it is.
IS this problem of Crystal reports , or any solution is there for solve this.?

Check weather the shared folder where the rpt file is kept is reachable
set the rpt file path correctly
is it running correctly in server or any other client?
is it running directly in crystal report?

Macbook pro 13" gets hanged within 3minutes if start and thats it. have to restart everytime. highly irritating just like pc. solution please?

Business one gets hanged

When ougoing payment for BILL is done, the system gets hanged..What can be done regarding this?

Sometimes it happens that clients are not able to do deliveries or inventory transctions...
We could identify that it happens when the finance user makes entries in the outgoing payments.
That user has to log off the machine or server has to be shut down, only then others can use the system..
Business one gets hanged.The network is fine...

Mountain 10.8.2 do not like '.exe' file at all !! IT gets Hanged and then Force to restart

After Update with 10.8.2. The System get hang (stuck)
I had to do a forced restart, several time and even a ReBoot in safety more.
AND I FIGURED OUT WHY :
I realized that in one of my folder (Download) I had an ".exe" File; Than have been downloaded (because i got Parallel Desktop that neable window7 to run under the Mac), and causes the problem (system is hanged)
Then when I reboot in safety mode I deleted that file. And Then everything went OK.
But when I plugged my USB key, I got again my system that turn to stop... Then again Force to Restart, remove the USB Key.
Guess what!! In the USB Key (at the root) there was again some '.exe' Files...
In conclusion :
There is an issue with that new release of Mountain Lion 10.8.2 that cause the system to get hang, when "Finder" meet an '.exe' file.
It occurs only when you open your "Finder" then go throughout some folder where you have placed some '.exe' file. Then your system will not respond anymore. You got to force the restart
Just to make it clear, of course I do not want to run an '.exe' file under Mac.
But If like me you have Parallel Desktop in order to run Window7 or 8; you might have some '.exe' file that are located in your Mac Folder…..
Then, when you open 'Finder' and you walk through your folder and meet an '.exe' file, thus you system will freeze!!
Work Arround Solution, that's only happen if your '.exe' File is not associtaed to be open under Window Explorer (if you have Parallel Desktop, of course).
Then, make sure to associate the extension '.exe' to Window Explorer, if you have some '.exe' File that are located in your folder or USB key,
Otherwise your system will freeze and you will have to force the restart.

That right I do not need to have any .exe file in my Mac environment; but having
installed Parallel Desktop (to have a Window Environment, due to business matters)
you might have from time to time some of that files ins download area or in the USB key.
The Test I made is very simple : I placed an .exe file in an USB Key; then plug in to my Mac
then from Finder open the folder where was that exe file…. Guess what ???
My computer get FREEZE (no respond)… I got to reboot.
Then I do not know what's going on. With the previous version (10.8.1) I never got such of issue ?

Hyperion System 9.3.1 Services are getting hang... on AIX box.

We have installed & configured Hyperion System 9.3.1 on IBM AIX 5.3 ML-6, 6 dual core CPU & 24GB RAM. Repository database is Oracle 10gR2.
We have scheduled approx 300 Interactive Reporting Jobs in Workspace which has been associated with external trigger events. Once these jobs get executed their output has been imported in the various folders on Workspace.
We are getting following errors in <HYPERION_HOME>/log/BIPLUS/ server_messages_IRJobService.log file when these jobs get executed:

The reason they run quicker the subsequent times, is because the data has already been cached in the system.
You could try the usual tricks to speed the report up:
- move items into POV
- have children and parent in the same row
- arrange dimensions in inverse outline order
- remove excessive formatting
- push report calculations back to the data source
We have found that using lots of dynamically calculated members also slows down reports, so try and limit the number of these.
Hope this helps. If not maybe give us an idea of how the report is created to see if other changes could be made.

System is getting hanged while creating Adobe Form Layout

Hello,
I have Adobe Lifecycle Designer and Adobe Document Service Installed on our server, i have created Adobe form interface in transaction SFP and then a new form created with this interface passing the parameter carrid.
While creating from layout, through library section I used Text function, as I drag and drop text in to the layout, system is getting hanged everytime with message 1.275 bytes transferred.
Gurus please help me to understand this error.

Get Adobe life cycle designer updated vesrion.
Also check your desktop/laptop if it has good RAM .
Adobe is quite fat application which depend upon ur sys prefomanc.

Source system R3 gets hanged and unsaved data is deleted

hi experts,
I created a process chain with the data flow as, from PSA to cube. the data flow was in 3.5 earlier which is migrated to 7.0. But now i used the same info package to load into PSA in the process chains and DTPs after that.
Now when this process chain was scheduled, R3 source system got hanged and also unsaved data got deleted.
Could any one provide inputs on the same?

wht abt the previous status of ur chain?failed/successful/running?
Since it was a delta load ur last delta shuld be successful for the next run to be free to run...

Berkeley DB JE is getting hanged while calling environment sync method.

I am developing an application in Java and I am using JE edition of Berkeley. I am facing an issue, during shutdown operation I am calling syn method of EntityStore class and Environment class.
The EntityStore.sync() is getting completed but during executing of Environment.sync() the control is not coming out of this statement. Below is the code that I am using to perform sync operation.

Did you try to repair your Acrobat once ?If not please try the same and check if that helps you out .
Launch Acrobat >Navigate to Help >Repair Acrobat Installation .
Do you get any error message or any prompts when it hangs and become unresponsive ?
Does this happen with any specific PDF or all the PDF'?
Also you could try to uninstall Acrobat once and they re install it if the above step does not work .
Please restart your machine once as well.

Right-click, drop-down menus in Firefox 15 cause entire Mac OS 10.7.4 system to hang, forcing manual reboot.

I bought a new MacBook Pro.
I am running Mac OS 10.7.4 with Firefox 15. Every time I right click or try to use a drop-down menu in Firefox, it causes the entire system to hang, forcing a manual reboot.
No crash reports are available as the Firefox does not actually crash.
I have tried
1.) Starting Firefox in safe mode
2.) Disabling all the add-ons
3.) Resetting Firefox
4.) Removing and re-installing Firefox
5.) Disabling hardware acceleration
The problem still occurs.
This is critical a critical issue as I have been using Firefox's Zotero plugin to write my PhD dissertation which is about 50% complete and now I cannot use Firefox or the Zotero plugin and have about 800 references I do not want to have to manually re-enter!! Also it is preventing me from continuing work on the dissertation as I am unable to insert references, and I have submit this thing by March!!!!

Ok, further developments. Still can't get Firefox to work; it makes Lion hang and I have to force a reboot. I tried using terminal to open FF's profile manager, delete my old profile and make a new one. Same problem.
I tried making a new user account in Mac OS, and doing another fresh install of Firefox. It worked! I was able to use drop down menus and right click without crashing the system!
However, as soon as I installed the Zotero plugin... the same issue started occurring again.
Dear programmers, please help me. It will literally take me weeks of work to re-do all of my citations using a different software or manually. There must be a way to fix this problem!

Unable to create a Purcahse order from Proman-System is hanging

I am unable to create a Purcahse order from Purcahse Requisition from Proman.
When iam executing the Function, convert Purchase Requisition to PO, after giving the required inputs like Vendor,Purcahse Org,Pur Group, Company, system giving the information that, Purcahse order is created with number and ask to proceed further.
When i click, system is hanging and unable to proceed further and when i check the PO, There is no data available in the PO's/

Operating system getting reboots randomly when SAP is started

Hi,
We have installed our production system and facing issues after installation and not able to proceed with further configuration.
System Details:
Product: ECC 6.0 - Kernel - 185 (ABAP+JAVA)
Database: DB2 V9.1 FP5
OS: SuSe Linux 10.2 Kernel - 2.6.16.60-0.21-smp - 64 bit
Hardware: HP DL360 G5
RAM - 32 GB
Processor- Quadra core - Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5430 @ 2.66GHz
Issue:
After starting SAP, OS is getting rebooted or getting hanged randomly. We are not able to find any logs related to this in /var/log/messages and also in SAP work directory.
This prevents us to continue our activities further.
Note: OS is installed in the local harddisk of the system and all other mount points related to SAP and DB are mounted from SAN using fibre channel.
Please let me know if any settings to be done at OS. OS kernel parameters are set as per the installation document.

As you mention that your database is on storage (SAN).
So first try to check the oracle level logs.
Secondly check the IO statics from SAN to server (IOSTAT).
installed the rpm (sar) and check the os level logs with this utility.
