The system icon for power is off, but the power icon will not change to on. Can you please assist

I understand that a system icon for power is not powered on for your computer, and that it cannot be changed. What is the icon name on your computer? Is this a recent or a reoccurring issue? Are you able to toggle this icon when booting your computer in Safe Mode? I would be happy to help you, but first I would encourage you to post your product number for your computer. Below is a is an HP Support document that will demonstrate how to find your computer's product number.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Because the included Maps app no longer gets the maps data from Google, so no more street view.
You can get a free Google Maps app from the iTunes App Store.

Did you use iTunes to sync those photos onto your device? If so then the only way to get them off is to use iTunes to sync them off.
When you sync them on you choose a folder and say 'put all the photos in here on my iPad', so to take them off you need to deselect that folder or remove photos from that folder and sync to take them off.

Unfortunately if the device is off or not connected or if FindMyiPhone isn't active you can't.

Has the home button worked in the past, or is this been something that hasn't worked for some time? The only way to reset the device is with the sleep/wake (power) and home buttons together. Without it, you would have to wait until the battery dies and then plug it in to try and reset it. The Home button is used for several user troubleshooting steps. Without it, you cannot perform a reset, put the device into recovery mode, or place it in DFU mode. You need to get the home button repaired.

I've been working on this all day!!! I've tried everything I know of and can't get it to load either. Sounds like lots of people are having problems. Here is what I have so far...I have uninstalled EVERYTHING on my pc from apple and reinstalled itunes to no avail. I have tried all sorts of things I've read as fixes online. NOTHING has worked. Here is something interesting that i have noticed though. my main pc (which is the one i have always managed my itunes account with for years) is a 32 bit system running windows 7. Yesterday I installed itunes for the first time on my new netbook which is a 64 bit (windows 7) system and it works just fine. i have three other laptops (all window 7) in my household that are all 64 bit operating systems and ALL have updated to 10.5 and THEY ALL work fine. this is FOUR 64 bit systems ALL updated w/10.5 that work and ONE that is a 32 bit that will not. Can't get any help from apple. their suppot *****! I want to get someone on the **** phone or a live chat but cant. *** APPLE????? please let mw know if you find SOMETHING i can try next. I'm out of ideas and patience!

Xperia S not turning on and not charging... Please Help...

I bought this xperia s phone on last year feb (2013). After two month of purchasing one day it turned off and was not turning on... After several atempt some how it turned on and i suddenly reinstalled android os using pc companion repair wizard. After that everything was ok.... But last week it showed the same problem... First symptom was turning off frequently without any reason... Then it showed battery drained even after full charging... and atlast now it is not turning on and while connecting charger led turns on without any display... And after some time it displays sony logo and charging symbol with red color in the center of screen without that z symbol inside that... Then i tried power button + vol up button... sometime it works and phone will reboot, but when it reaches lock screen touch is not working and it shows 0% charge and it will shutdown... Sorry for bad english... Someone please help...

My problem is when first charger connected it will go through low battery level charging mode. After few minutes it will start Kernel controlled off-line charging mode. But there is no Z symbol inside that battery... , it comes only with red low battery indication... It shows not charging just like below pic...

To change to iCloud ID on your phone you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID then sign in with the new ID. If you don't know the password for the old ID, and if the old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

I have tried the reset in restore mode as well as the DFU? mode and it still will not work. I have the latest version of iTunes on my Mac. My error code was 2002. I also tried it on my laptop (windows 8.1) and none of the above worked. My error code on my laptop was 02. The phone is through Verizon and it has absolutely no damage. It was working fine up until this and I have been trying to fix it for 2 days. Please help! I am unsure of what version the phone was currently running on before this because I have another iphone that's my primary phone and have not used this one in about a month. I do not believe it was updated to IOS 7.

Your iPhone is in recoverty mode at the moment so to possibly get it back up and running you would need to do a restore as you have been trying. Follow the steps in the article below for the specific error messages you have been receiving. If after following all steps the issue remains book an appointment at a local Apple Retail Store to have the iPhone evaluated.
