You need to provide more information about your system - particularly the Power Supply Unit (PSU) & Motherboard (MoBo) - until you do, you aren't going to get anywhere.
Read some of the details on other people's postings and signatures and try again.
mobo is k7N2 Delta series
PSU is 400W
1.5GB of RAM PC2700 DDR
AMD 2500+
GeForce 6600GT
showing this blue screen
STOP: 0x000007E (0xC0000005, 0x00000000, 0xF78BEACC, 0xF78BE7CC)
dunno what it is..
something to do with video adapter.. thats what i read..

No errors were found in my memory. My PSU seems to be working fine.My VGA is a XFX Nvidia 9600GT with 512mb.
Have you tried that?:

Try with your second stick alone in the same DIMM slot.

I'm trying to install Solaris 8 for the Intel platform on a Compaq ML570. There are two 431 SmartArray controllers attached to 2 mirrored sets in addition to the Compaq Integrated Array Controller. For my installation I'm booting from the DCA floppy, pressing F4 and adding the Compaq DU for the controllers, and continuning with the installation from from 1 of 2 CD. There not error messages during the installation. Only an warning messages comes up at the end saying that I would need to change the boot device. Finallay, at the very end of the installation it ask me for the Compaq floppy again and then reboots. When Solaris comes up it shows me an x86boot and Solaris partitions. I select the X86boot, at boot or interactive enter b kadb -v, then the system starts loading but it stops with "panic stopped at int20+xb: ret and then reboots. It keeps on doing that constantly. I have already tried a couple of reinstallations to no avail. Any idea what it may be causing this problem.
Francis,
This sounds like the problems that have been reported
with the driver
you got from Compaq. I would suggest contacting Sun's
waranty support
line at 800 USA-4SUN to verify, but it's my
understanding that a new
driver (or patch) is in the works.
I would suggest as a workaround, don't boot with kadb
enabled.
Hope this helps. Thanks your help. Booting without kadb produces the same results. The systems starts booting up, it produces the messages I mentioned before, and then reboots again. -
MS6378 - system keeps rebooting
plz help
been having probs with MS6378 - this is the 2nd mobo after returning the original, system reboots itself for no apparent reason. when booted up again, it went through to microsoft's diagnostic checker (Windows XP) and returned the message that the mobo is faulty.
can anyone point me in the right direction here? it seems a bit funny that it would happen to 2 consecutive mobo's...
this current mobo is about 1 month old now.
i have a 300W PSU, AMD XP 1800+, 512MB RAM, CD/DVD Rom, CD Writer, 40GB HDD, ZIP drive
probably something simple, any help would be great!
thanksxevious, would you also describe what the 512MB consist of, please.
"How to set FSB 133 on MS-6378?
MS-6378 - Set JFSB1 as pin1-2 (JFSB1 can be found in between DIMM1 & IDE1 connector)"
I think it is between the bottom PCI-slots that the PCB-version is printed. Might be important: http://www.msi.com.tw/program/products/mainboard/mbd/pro_mbd_cpu_support_detail.php?UID=22&kind=1
Furthermore, this mobo has a long BIOS history. Where are you in this history?
http://www.msi.com.tw/program/support/bios/bos/spt_bos_detail.php?UID=22&kind=1
Personally I'm not fond of mobos with long BIOS history, and would not buy one second hand. -
K9A2 Neo keeps rebooting itself
I just had my motherboard and graphics card replaced but the new system keeps rebooting itself. It can happen even if if the computer is just idling and I'm not doing anything with it but it happens a lot more frequently if I play certain games. Windows was not reinstalled after replacing these two cards. I don't know if it's of any significance but when I boot the machine the board beeps 5 or 6 times, instead of the 1 time I'm used to. More often than not the unwanted reboot fails and ends in a blank screen but initial booting of the machine always succeeds.
I'm fairly green in these matters and would be really grateful if someone could point me in the right direction on this one.Test each one memory stick alone with >>Memtest86<< , use the 1st DIMM slot close to CPU socket.
For details you can take a look here: https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=103598.msg760534#msg760534
What PSU you use? {List brand and details {amperes per each line}, look for them over PSU sticker. Example in my signature}

My desktop keeps rebooting ever since I upgraded to Mavericks.
Current setup, Mac Mini hooked up to home theater (Panasonic SC-HTB20) that is then hooked up to my Panasonic Plasma TV.
I usually leave my Mac Mini on running and at least once a day when I turn on the TV I can see that my desktop was rebooted. Firefox and Chrome will say that it wasn't shut down properly and if I want to restore my previous session. Also some times when I switched the input to watch TV and switch back, all my windows will be scattered out of place. For example Chrome will be in the top left hand corner to the point that it's almost minimized and I wouldn't be able to move it as well. Only thing I can do is close out these applications and relaunch them. It doesn't appear that the OS actually crashed, but more like the desktop/finder itself crashed. Cause once in a while I will switch back or turn on the TV and the screen will stay black for a few minutes then I'll see the cursor in the top right hand corner. After that I will start to see the desktop and my application start loading. It doesn't go through the regular process of rebooting where you see the Apple logo so I don't think the OS actually crashed but I could be wrong.
For some reason it seems like Maverick doesn't like the home theater system. An almost guarantee way to reproduce the issue is to wait for the home theater to turn off after it's been inactive for a while. If I turn it on the home theater to have the audio coming from it I will see the desktop goes black immediately then the whole desktop reboot process I mentioned above will kick in.
Never had any of these issues on 10.7 before I upgraded to Maverick.
Anybody have any suggestion? I really don't want to format and downgrade back to 10.7.
ThanksSounds like a kernel panic.
If you post the report we could have a go at deciphering it.
It would be in /Library/Logs/Diagnostic Reports. -
865PE Neo2-V Conflict, keeps rebooting.....
Hi,
I have recently bought a MSI 865PE Neo2-V mainboard but it keeps rebooting all the time at intalling windows xp.
One time i did manage to install winxp but after installing other software the computer reboots.
I doublechecked the CPU and Memory.
So i think it is the Bios settings. Can anyone help me out with this problem?
This is my system:

ok. let us know what happens wnen you try the different psu.
Hi again
I tried an other PSU and it works!! I can't thank all of you enough.
I think it was my PSU that was not compatible with the mobo or that the PSU was corrupt.
Anyways PROBLEM SOLVED!!!
Thank You. -
Laserjet pro MFP M176n keeps rebooting
Hi,
I have a Color laserjet Pro MFP M176n printer. It ha snot been used for sometime.2 weeks ago when I printed something it had constant paper jam. I open the front door to remove the jam problem was not solved, I removed the ink cartridge to see if there was any piece of paper .Switch the apparatus off and when i switch it on again it just wnt switch on and now it just keep rebooting and wont display anything.
I would liek to know how to solve this problem or if the printer has to be thrown out.
RegardsHi @widadr,
I see that you are experiencing issues with the printer constantly rebooting. I will certainly do my best to help you.
Temporarily disconnect any cables from the printer, except the power cord, just to make sure there isn't any interference for the next few steps.
I would do a hard reset to see if that will resolve the issue.
Leave the printer on and unplug the power cable from the printer and wall outlet for 60 seconds.
Then reconnect the power cable to the printer and wall outlet rather than a surge protector.
This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
Perform a power drain by disconnecting the power cord from the back of the printer and keeping the power button pressed for 30 seconds and in case of a power switch keep the switch in ON position for 30 seconds before reconnecting the power chord.
Try and update the printer's firmware by a USB connection if the issue persists. Software and Drivers.
I will send you another step to try in a private message.
In the forum beside your handle name just click on the envelope to view it.
How is the printer connected? (USB/Ethernet)

Hi All
I have my newly Lenovo x240 installed with Windows 7. Sometime, it can boot up, but sometimes it keep rebooting during the windows logo appear.
When it goes wrong, it will have the following screen.
But, if I am lucky, after several "auto-reboot", I can get into the Windows 7. But sometimes, it shows the similar screen above (without windows logo but with what my current desktop), and it then auto reboots.
This scenario is so random, I don't know how to fix it. At this stage, I don't want to use system restore, as some software is installed by my client which is not located near my office, while the reboot issue happens before those installation

Could you please help?
BR
JackyHi JackyCheung,
I would strongly you to ensure you have the latest drivers and also Windows Updates installed before proceeding with anything else. Have you ran the diagnostics to see if anything hardware related maybe causing the issue?
In this scenario I highly doubt System Restore would help, was it working OK when you got it? what has changed since it was working without the issue?

Thanks in advance for your help !Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you boot, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, reboot as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test. -
Mountain lion doesn't go to startup keeps rebooting, works in safe boot though.
Just upgraded from the previous oxs verison for mac, after the upgrade it keeps rebooting not allowing me to go to startup screen where the usernames are, howevere the upgrade works when I put my Mac in safe boot. Any recommendations?
Figure out what third-party system extension is causing problems.
Linc Davis posts some directions on how to determine what you have loaded, but I'm not sure what you would get in safe mode. Here's on of his posts: Re: iMac crashes 5 x a day and beachball, what to do? -
WLC 7.5 HA - Standby keeps rebooting
I have two 5508 controllers peered up in high availability. The problem is now the standby keeps rebooting saying it can't reach the default gateway.
What IP would it ping with and use as the source address if the two controllers share the same IP and the primary controller is using the IPs?
How do I fix the rebooting?
(Cisco Controller-Standby) >
Rebooting as default GW is not reachable from Standby Controller
Restarting system. Reason: Default Gateway is not reachable ..

I also had a LAG issue earlier so I unplugged 3 of 4 LAG connections.Just found this document that has couple rebooting bugs in 7.4 and was supposed to be fixed in the next release.

My system keeps shutting off unexpectedly after updating it to OS X 10.8.2 (12C60). is there anything that can be done to correct this?
Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, or by a peripheral device.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output andWi-Fi on certain iMacs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.
