System Landscape Test Connection Error.

Hi,
My I tried to configure the system landscape for my portal system. The backend system is an xRPM. When I test the connection, I get an error under WEB AS since there is not service mentioned under Web AS Path, it only leads to /sap/bc/
I checked the transaction "sicf " at the backend system, but i donot know which service to activate at hte backend and specify at the portal too.
Should there be a specific service for xRPM systems, or is there a generic service that can be activated.

/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui -What I get is = /sap/bc/ (no 'gui' found)
/sap/public/ping -
Which is Active
I tried running the transaction SIAC_PUBLISH_ALL_INTERNAL any how but the transaction does not exist
As far as the port details are concerned they were set as per your reply,
icm/server_port_0 --> PROT=HTTP,PORT=8000
icm/host_name_full ---> <Hostname.domain>

Test connection error

Hi all,
I have implemented B1iSN and it has been working well for 2 months in a productive environment, but recently I get an error when I try to test the connection from the event sender configuration, the error is HTTP/1.1 401 Not authorized or HTTP/1.1 503 Service not available. The error occurs in every landscape conected to the B1iSN server.
The B1iSN server has the firewall turn off and there's nothing that can blocked the connection (ping is working fine). When testing the connection from B1iSN server to the landscape it connects successfully.
Because of this issue, the SEVT table maintains the records without sending it to the server and the integrations are not working.
B1iSN server version is 8.8 PL08
Could anyone tell me what's the matter or how can I solve this trouble?

Document Management System (CSADMIN) gives connect error?

Hi everyone
I have configured DMS in my system which is on ECC6 and HP-UX (Tcode OAC0).
When I try to connect using CSADMIN it gives the following error....
This configuration is for HTTP server:
I have given port as 1090 and HTTP Script as ContentServer/ContentServer.dll. Is this correct??

So you did not yet install the content server on your Windows system? If not, then it won't work

We are trying to create a content reposiotry in SAP 4.7, it gets created and is displayed in SAP content reposiotry list.
But when I click on "Test Connection" I get the error "Connection Repository does not exist".

Choose Tools ® Business documents, Environment ® Knowledge Provider® KPro® Content Repositories
Enter the following fields in the u201CChange Content Repositories : Detailu201D :-
1)   Content Rep. :- ZO (Content Repository Name)
2)    Description :-   Content Repository
3)    Storage type :-   HTTP content server.
4)    Version no   :-    0045
5)     HTTP svr:p :- IP or machine name of application server on which DMS has been deployed : Web port of the application server on which DMS has been deployed.
1)       Program :-   sap/sapDocView.jsp
Save the created Content Repository by clicking on u201CSaveu201D. We are working on SAP 4.7 versionon a SAP development server and the content repository has not been transported after creation. Will not transporting be causing this error ?

System Landscape for ESS/MSS in EP60 SP2

I have installed EP60 SP2 on J2EE 6.20 and MSSQL. I have imported business packages ESS 50-4 and MSS 60-1-5. I have created the folder Systems in Portal Content and created a system SAP_R3 with aliases SAP_R3_HumanResources, SAP_R3_Cross, SAP_R3_Travel, and SAP_R3_Financials.
My 4.7 R/3 system is app server R3DEV02.domain.com, system id DEV, sysno 01, client 100. My ITS server is http://itsdev01.domain.com:71/scripts/wgate/webgui/! using client 100. My EP path is http://sapport01.domain.com:50000/irj/.
Given this information, can anyone tell me exactly what parameters I must set in the system landscape for system SAP_R3 and what the values should be for ESS and MSS to work properly? If I go to the System Landscape Cockpit, system SAP_R3 fails all tests.
Any and all help is certainly appreciated.

WRT SAP_R3 system landscape test failure, I ran into the same issue earlier, for a SAP_R3_Dedicated system. Keep the same setting values, but leave the system id (DEV) Blank, then test.
Your definition of (Application Server Host Address + System Number) should be sufficient for a SAP_R3_Dedicated connection.
I hope this will resolve your system TEST problem.

R3-B1 Test Connection

Hi guys, we're trying to connect with B1i an R3 IDE, we get all the fields ok and when we try to make a test connection we always get this message:
Whole Adapter-Pool currently is deactivated
We know that from the server we're trying to make the test we can access with the SAPGUI tool to R3, but we haven't found something that could help us with the error,
Something to consider, is we have in Gateway Host the address of the server with the router IP, something like:
/H/200.10.10.10/H/192.168.1.20, if we dont put the router information we get a message that we couldnt connect to the server and a description of timeout, but when we add the /H/200.10.10.10/H/ like we do in SAPGUI we get this message:

Anybody can help me if i'm doing something wrong?

Hi Edward, we're still in the test connection, we are'nt still in the scenary, we followed all the steps in that pdf document for R3 V5.0, we assigned in b1i that our R3 server is 4.7.200, but it really is 5, we know we could have some troubles when we create the scenario but we are not still there, we put the values in the LandScape form but we were not able to connect the server for a "Test Connection", i think that this test could be succesfull no matter this difference in the version, but what we're not sure is if we use a server outside our network we can use the string /H/routerip/H/, if this is ok i can focus in another value, but all the programs id, user, server ip are ok as far as we know and following the steps in the documents.
I don't know if the version could be a problem, i know it could be when we create the scenario but i think in landscape "Test Connection" is like a ping to check if we can comunnicate with the server, and we receive that message.
Of course the server when we have B1i has SAPGUI intalled and it can connect to the server via GUI, any more ideas?

Error in Test Connection through the DQE for my JDBC system

Hi,
I created a JDBC system and I gave DQE properties to connect to the PUBS database.
I am getting the below error when I did Test Connection through the DQE.
Test Details:
The test consists of the following steps:
1. Checks the existence of a backend admin user ID/password in the system properties.
2. Checks the existence of a default alias for the system.
3. Checks the DQE connection.
Results
1. Backend admin user ID and password exist in the system properties.
2. Default alias of the system exists.
3. DQE connection failed. The system is currently being loaded. Please wait and try again.
I re-entered admin id and password in DQE properties as per OSS note 761753.
Still I am getting the same error.

URGENT: connection to system landscape Directory (SLD) could not be openend

Hi ,
information: when login as adminstrator yesterday, it asked for a new password & i given a new password to the administrator
Error in portal: Failed to resolve JCO destination name 'WD_GPMS_RFC_METADATA_DEST' in the SLD
My Findings
1) http://...../sld , given j2ee_admin, pwd .
then clicked on Administration --> showing --> status running.
2) Logged into portal with j2ee admin , CA --> web dynpro ,
Create Jco Destination , Maintain JCo destinatations , start assigned SLD are in the disabled mode.
Check SLD Connection is in enable mode.When clicked on test connection ,
it is giving the following message :
connection to system landscape Directory (SLD) could not be openend successfully.
3) Also CIMClient test giving failed .

i had seen your reply after i had resolve the issue by my own. As my administrator password got changed, i had changed SLDDSUSER password. Both adminstrator password & SLDUSUSER password should be same.

You can clearly see that the system object 'sapdev' is not configured correctly/at all - you are trying to launch transaction iView
(WEBGUI) and in order to do so you should configure the 'internet transaction server' category of the system object
with the hostname of the ITS server.
Generally the template is
<System.Access.ITS.protocol>://<System.Access.ITS.hostname>/sap<ESID>/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?\....
So that's why you got

Error in system created to connect BI from portal

I'm getting error when i connect with our back end system BI.
i created a system using template SAP system with load balancing. i created alias for this system and did user mapping. when i run connetcion test i got the following as test result

Error in Test Connection of Content Repositories

Hello All,
I m creating a Content Repositories via Trnaction OAC0.
But, when i click on "TEST Connection" icon for testing the Connection, its giving the error " HTTP ERROR : 400 BAD REQUEST".
I have checked, all my entries while creating Content Repository are Correct.
My Dcument type is Document Management System(DMS) and
Storage Type is HTTP Content Server.

[Integration Engine Configuration Data] Error: No access to system landscap

Hi all,
When configuring Integration Engine Data (To go to 'Integration Engine Configuration Data' screen: Tcode: SXMB_ADM -> Choose: Integration Engine Configuration -> F8), we want to load Configuration from System Lanscape by choose F6, an error occur with message as below:
No access to system landscap
So that we can't load configuration from our System Landscape.
We have correctly configured other below:
     - We use http port for corresponding Integration Server.
     - Business System with role 'Integration Server' created correctly in SLD.
     - T-code SLDCHECK is all OK.
     - T-code SXI_CACHE is all OK.
Anyone can please help me correct this error ?
