System list remains empty

Hi,
I've tried executing the "QuickStart" example given in the Visual Composer user guide. After creating model, module, page, Iview.. I'm trying to import BAPI.
Here, when I give link to the Portal I'm using, connection with the Portal is working but the System list remains empty.
( in my Portal Landscape Directory I've defined the system an user mapping for that and Its working fine)
Can anyone suggest me, where I'm going wrong.
Regards,
Mausam

Hi Mausam,
These are the following possibilities where you may have done something wrong.
1. System Definition: Make sure you have defined the system you want
to connect. Do the following to verify the same.
In case of "UserMapping"
Checklist:
  1. System Alias is defined
  2. UserManagement property of the system definition is set to  "UIDPW"
  3. System permissions are set to give access to end users.
      eu_role/authenticated_user/or any group that you want to give access to
      the system.
      One of the above groups is added to the system definition and make sure
      eu_role has "end user" box checked.
  4. Once the steps 1 to 3 are correct then go to personalize link
(For this link
      to show up the user that you logged on should have eu_role assigned),
      select usermapping and see in the dropdownlist the system you
have defined
      appears (Alias name)
      Select the system, enter the userid and password and save.
  5. Now go to the support desk and check by selecting "SAP Transaction"
      if it connects automatically using the id and pwd you have
provided by doing
      usermapping.
  6. If step 5 works without you entering the userid/password then
you are ready to
      test with Visual Composer. If not make sure step 4 is complete.
  7. Now start the Visual Composer and connect to portal and select the system
      and specify the BAPI. It should give you the list.
If SSO:
  Follow the above procedure except the following steps.
  2. Make sure the UserManagement property is set to "SSO2LOGON"
  4. Skip step 4
Hope this helps.

  • Empty available SAP systems list.

    Hello all,

    Hi,
    locate the saplogon.ini file on the machine you installed the CR designer and create an environment variable with the name SAPLOGON_INI_FILE that contains the path (ATTENTION: include also the name of the file itself) to the saplogon.ini file.
    If the system list is still empty after that, then please open the saplogon.ini using Notepad, go to File->Save as and choose the file to be encoded as UTF-8 (Do not modify the name). Just overwrite the existing file and try again.

  • System list empty

    Hi @ all,
    I've installed VCServer on a Win2000 Server with EP 6.0.
    The VC works fine if I'm using the EP that is installed on the same machine.
    But if I want to connect to a portal on another Server, the system list in VC is empty.
    I've checked some other posts to this topic and have done all the listed steps.
    (Restart, add line into hosts file, e.g.)
    Has anyone had the same problem with VC and how has he fixed it?
    Regards,
    Dennis

  • SCCM 2012 SCCMContentLib folder remains empty on DP

    I have a few standalone DP's which are not getting the packages distributed to them
    I have 74 Secondary Sites, 1 Primary (no CAS), and 12 standalone DP's
    All Secondary sites are operating properly and half of the DP's are not getting any packages disributed to them
    Within IIS I have noticed the the DataLib, FileLib and PkgLib virtual directories have not been created, I also noticed that the SCCMContentLib folder on the DP remains empty.
    I have cross referenced everything I can think of between the functional DP's and the broken DP's and this seems to be the only thing wrong. I have uninstalled and reinstalled everything (including IIS), rebooted and still getting nowhere with this.

  • System Prefs Notifications EMPTY

    Hey,
    I don't get any notifications and I am pretty sure it is because I don't have a single App in my Notifications Systempreferences. It looks like this:
    I've installed Mountain Lion clean on a new SSD and then importerted my old LION-user from the HDD while sill using the old user-Folder remaining on the HDD.
    How do I get the applications to be listed in the notification center?

    /Library/Preferences - trash the com.apple.systempreferences.plist file, repair permissions, restart your computer.  When you reach the desktop empty the trash.
    If you have already tried the above, try the following -
    Disconnect all peripherals from your computer.
    Boot from your install disc & run Repair Disk from the utility menu. To use the Install Mac OS X disc, insert the disc, and restart your computer while holding down the C key as it starts up.
    Select your language.
    Once on the desktop, select Utility in the menu bar.
    Select Disk Utility.
    Select the disk or volume in the list of disks and volumes, and then click First Aid.
    Click Repair Disk.
    Restart your computer when done.
    Repair permissions after you reach the desktop-http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2963 and restart your computer.  System Preferences still empty?

    Recently, there has been a bug on my Mac OS X Lion, while trashing an iphoto the errant pic does not go to trash bin, but simply disappears! Which makes it impossible to change my mind. The trash remains empty, yet the pic is gone, and I never even emptied the trash (because it never made it to the trash)! How to recover the album I just accidently made disappear in this way?

    Sorry - there have been no updates to that system for a long time
    Try to backup your iPhoto library and lanch iPhoto while holding the option and cannoned keys down - repair permissions and if needed rebuild the database

  • Repair Permissions: list remains very long

    How serious could the following be:
    After repeated reruns of Repair Permissions, a very long list remains on my Main Disk of only three classes of defects, to wit
    AA—nine times of the type:
    Permissions differ on "System/Library/CoreServices/Front Row.app/Contents/PlugIns/FRSources.frappliance/Contents/CodeResources", should be -rw-r--r-- , they are lrw-r--r-- .
    BB—several hundreds of times of the type:
    ACL found but not expected on "System/Library/User Template/zh_CN.lproj/Library/Sounds",
    (as well as two of the type: ACL found but not expected on "Applications/Utilities").
    CC—two times of the type:
    Permissions differ on "sbin/restore", should be -r-xr-xr-x , they are -r-sr-sr-x .
    Warning: SUID file "sbin/restore" has been modified and will not be repaired.
    Observation:
    all, with the exception of CC, are located in "System/Library/…",
    and
    "Disk Repair" is OK.

    You're very welcome, Steven.
    Just so you know, I used to run repair perms all the time.
    I thought it was a maintenance procedure.
    It's not, really. The only time to run it is if something's wrong (which is why you ran it)
    or after installing major apps (but many folks that I respect here, say it isn't necessary even then.)
    Five years ago, it was the "be all and end all" to maintaining a "healthy" Mac. Not so anymore.
    So, do read a few of the threads from the link.
    You'll find TONS of people wringing their hands over the RP notations.
    "I ran it over and over, and the 'errors' are still there!"
    I read a few of your most recent posts, and I realized that you've been trying to get things squared away. I hope you're all fixed now, but if not, don't ever hesitate to come back any time.

  • LOV remains empty

    Hi there, i'm working with the JDeveloper 11.1.1.6.0.
    I have a problem with a lov. I've created a View which is read-only and queries a database view. When I run this VO in the AppModuleTester it works fine and i can see my values.
    I need a LOV, so i have created anothe view with only one transient attribute. On this transient attribue i have added the other view as an lov. When i now run the lov in the AppModuleTester the LOV remains empty.
    But the parent view still shows the correct values.
    Now i don't know what i should, because in my opinion i've created the view correct. Perhaps someone has seen this error or has an idea how to solve this.
    Thanks in advance.

    Ok, i've debugged the issue a bit.
    The parent VO holding the data is getting the correct values even with binding variable in action, but i can't see where the transient attribute holding the LOV is created.
    So where is this transient attribute created and mapped to the LOV, this is not 100 percent clear for me?
    I want to understand why the LOV is not showing in the page but in the model tester.
    Ok, when i create the LOV on an attribute which is bound to a EO attribute i can see the LOV, but when it is used on a transient attribute i can't see the LOV.
    The use case i have to get a list of values from the db, and the user can choose one option of this list for a report parameter. I can't use a static list, becuase the value depend on the user who is logged in.
    So, is there a workaround or way to get the LOV working for transient attibutes?
    Edited by: Alex on 26.04.2012 11:36
    Ok, i've just solved it myself.
    Just set the attribute to be updateable.

  • JComboBox popup list remains open after losing keyboard focus

    Hi,
    I have noticed a strange JComboBox behavior. When you click on the drop down arrow to show the popup list, and then press the Tab key, the keyboard focus moves to the next focusable component, but the popup list remains visible.
    I have included a program that demonstrates the behavior. Run the program, click the drop down arrow, then press the Tab key. The cursor will move into the JTextField but the combo box's popup list is still visible.
    Does anyone know how I can change this???
    Thanks for any help or ideas.

          Box box = Box.createHorizontalBox();
          this.getContentPane().add( box, BorderLayout.CENTER );
          Vector<String> vector = new Vector<String>();
          vector.add( "Item" );
          vector.add( "Another Item" );
          vector.add( "Yet Another Item" );
          JComboBox jcb = new JComboBox( vector );
          jcb.setEditable( true );
          JTextField jtf = new JTextField( 10 );
          box.add( jcb );
          box.add( jtf );
       public static void main( String[] args )
          Test test = new Test();
          test.pack();
          test.setVisible( true );
          test.setDefaultCloseOperation( JFrame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE );
    }

    ran your code on 1.5.0_3, observed problem as stated.
    even though the cursor is merrily blinking in the textfield, you have to click into
    the textfield to dispose the dropdown
    ran your code on 1.4.2_08, no problems at all - tabbing into textfield immediately
    disposed the dropdown
    another example of 'usual' behaviour (involving focus) breaking between 1.4 and 1.5
    the problem is that any workaround now, may itself be broken in future versions

  • How do you install a file system on an empty partition?

    Hi. I'm running 10.3.9 on a B&W G3. I've formatted a 100Gb drive with a 40Gb partition on which Panther is installed (and which is running even as I type) and several empty partitions. I was going to install OS 9 on one of the empty partitions, but Disk Utility doesn't seem to want to let me do install a file system on an empty partition. Hence, the OS 9 installer can't find the empty partitions, and therefore can't install.
    Is there another way to put a file system on an empty partition?

    Matt--
    One suggestion: if you can't figure out how to put a file system on the empty space, you could clone your current partition to an external drive, re-partition the internal drive drive and then clone the external back. Like John, I've heard of utilities that can re-partition a drive without erasing your data, but I just can't imagine using one if I didn't have a clone anyway. So that's what I've done when I want to change a partition size.

  • Hi,This morning I wanted to call, so I took my phone ( Iphone 4 S) ,but my All contacts list was empty! I checked in my computer ( windows 8) I have them in Iclould. How can I bring back my data?

    Hi,This morning I wanted to call, so I took my phone ( Iphone 4 S) ,but my All contacts list was empty! I checked in my computer ( windows 8) I have them in Iclould. How can I bring back my data?

    Hello Noushin,
    It sounds like you are unable to see your contacts in the phone, but have confirmed they are still at http://www.icloud.com. I would next try these troubleshooting steps from the article named:
    iCloud: Troubleshooting iCloud Contacts
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3998
    If you're using iOS 7, quit and restart the Contacts app on your iOS device:
    Press the Home button twice to see preview screens of the apps you have open.
    Find the Contacts preview screen and swipe it up and out of preview to quit the application.
    Tap the Home button to return to your Home screen.
    Wait a minute before reopening the Contacts app.
    Turn iCloud Contacts off and back on:
    Tap Settings > iCloud.
    Turn Contacts off. Choose to delete data only if your data exists at icloud.com/contacts and on one or more of your devices. Otherwise, choose Keep Data.
    Wait a few minutes before turning Contacts back on.
    Restart your iOS device by holding down the Sleep/Wake button and then swiping the screen when prompted to power off. Then turn your device back on. This may sound simple, but it does reinitialize your network and application settings and can frequently resolve issues.
    Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

    Sterling

  • In F-53 system listing out wrong open item

    Hi Guru's,
    while making outgoing payment in F-53 system listing out 'A001' & 'B001' company code open item rather than 'A001' company code open item. In the selection screen we are giving only company code 'A001'.
    This vendor has been extended for both the company code.
    Could you please help me to bring selection screen company code open item only.
    with regards,
    Jammy

    in f-53 after giving all the required information in document header bank account number and amount click on process open items without giving the vendor code on the main screen of f-53
    there check which company code is selected and then give the vendor code and co code and process again
    and let me know if you are facing the same problem again
    Also check the vendor open items for each co code in FBL1N
