System migration process (not complete sucessfully) SOS kindly help

we have read SAP system copy guide and follow the steps as per guide. we have also deleted temp inconsistant tables. but when we run system copy procedure then error occured.

I have configured Service desk in SolMan 7.0 which has patch level 14 and also configured in Satellite systems. I am using SM_...._BACK RFC connection in BCOS_CUST table. The user used by SM_...._BACK have the following roles in SolMan
SAP_SUPPDESK_CREATE,SAP_SV_FDB_NOTIF_BC_ADMIN
and SAP_SV_FDB_NOTIF_BC_CREATE.
However, when I try to create support message (Help --> Create support message) in satellite system, i am getting Error in local message system; message 009999000035 not complete.
I have also checked for Product_ID parameter which is not existing.
One important thing is, I can create support message in satellite system if I give SAP_ALL in that RFC user using in SM_...._BACK connection in SolMan.
So, this shows clearly that it is an issue with role/authorization.
Please suggest me !!

Hmm not really. Profiles for the roles are also generated?
Those roles/profiles should be sufficient to create support messages.
Even though you assigned SAP_ALL and it worked afterwards I cannot imagine you got an auth. problem here anymore.
When assigning SAP_ALL did you really assign SAP_ALL to the RFC user or did you assign another user (who got SAP_ALL auth.) to the RFC connection?
The user who was logged on to the satellite system when the support messages have been created (with and without SAP_ALL assigned to the RFC user) has always been the same?
Just to make sure: did you set NO_USER_CHECK = X in Sol Man tx: DNO_CUST04?

Short press : sleep

Have you tried the restart/reset/restore troubleshooting path? That would be the best initial set of steps to take, particularly in a situation like this.

Check if the UserId that is creating the message in SolMan via Help->Create Support Message has roles SAP_SUPPDESK_CREATE and SAP_SV_FDB_NOTIF_BC_ADMIN (the profiles of the roles must be generated, all the authorization objects should be green).
I have SolMan 4.0 SP 13 too, when I delete these authorizations from my userid, I have the same error.

1. You cannot reset it back . For future cases ensure to grey out the option using Transaction Variants SHD0 for IW31/IW32 Tcodes

Usually its there after the hot backup.. along with the checkpoint message i am getting below notification also..

I think after hot backup the redologs are written as tablespaces were in backup mode.. Am i right?
just now i found that it happens before hot backup also...
as we do swicth log file before the backup also it might be occuring right?
Rest of the day its smooth... no notification.. redo log files hardly switched for an hour..

CS2 AI Error "Could Not Complete The Requested Operation" HELP!!

So I open AI this morning same as always and I get this error message "Could Not Complete The Requested Operation" Click OK and AI Crashes, reboot, restart - same thing. I did some digging around the web and found a few solutions..none worked, well sorta. If I delete all of the fonts on my machine I can get AI to open normally, as soon as I start putting fonts back in - errors start occuring again!
HELP!! I have reinstalled, also to no avail.

The machine (PC WINXP) won't allow you to delete certain fonts.
I tried your idea, I have 1311 fonts currently installed, it will take hours and hours to test it out. I did some batches and AI continued to open till I got to the "C" fonts, then even 1 at a time I was never able to get AI open again. I would install a font, check AI, remove font, install a different font, check AI, same problem.
Any other suggestions?

Migration Assistant not completing over wireless from PC

I have a new Macbook Air and am trying to complete the Migration Assistant from a Dell XPS PC (laptop). The process will begin just fine, but says it will take 9, then10, even up to 11 hrs., etc. then doesn't wind up working even after those time frames have passed.
I have a very fast internet connection, so I am not sure why this would be happening. Is there a way to use an ethernet cable instead of wifi? I tried connecting the two computers with an ethernet on a whim but my Mac didn't reconginze the PC, and vicea versa.
I'd like to avoid manually bringing over my PC files if at all possible.... Any suggestions will be much appreciated!!

Did you read through this knowledge base article on migration assistant for PC to Mac transfer? You can use a wired network in addition to wireless.

BPM is in Process (Not completed after 3 days also)

I have an existing scenario, which was working fine.
The scenario is File to IDoc, wherein picking up a file and splitting into multiple IDocs. The BPM is working out; able to send IDocs but not all the ones.
The bpm is still in process it has to send some more IDocs. When I see the work flow log: It says u201CWaiting for event 'RECEIVED' of object type 'ZXI_PROXY_MI_*_0002' u201C. When I open up the wait stepXML MessagesInstance ID u201CIt shows the status: Transfer to Processu201D
Over all, it has to send some more IDocs and complete the process.
I have checked the queues in XI and R/3 also. No entries found.
Does it happening because of huge data file?
What could be the problem? Any suggestions?

there is just one answer to this question:
don't EVER use a BPM for splitting a file into multiple IDOCs...
this can be done without the use of a BPM by changing the occurance of the IDOC
then the flow will work
correct your flow and it will work perfectly

Burn process not completely done, messing up dvd playback

When I try to burn from idvd, it goes through all the processes, then it completes the burn, spits out the disk and then the program freezes.
When I try to play back the dvd on a dvd player or computer it plays about half of one slide show, won't open the other and just quits working all together...my dvd player says it doesn't have playback capabilities, yet more than half of it played.
I did do the trial burn on the mac and it works perfectly...any ideas what is messing this up?

It could be any number of things. Of course, if it "completes the burn" then you should expect the disk to be ejected. The freezing up part shouldn't occur. You say that you did a "trial burn on the Mac and it works perfectly". I take it that you mean that you saved the project to your hard drive as a disk image, and that the disk image played fine. If that's so, then iDVD did its job correctly. Try burning from the disk image using the disk utility app on your Mac instead of directly from iDVD.
If that doesn't work, try going through the usual maintenance procedures and diagnostics. No guarantees that they will work, but worth a try. First I would try the oft applied maintenance of deleting preferences and doing a permissions repair. To delete preferences, close i/DVD and trash the file named com.apple.iDVD.plist found in User (the house icon)/Library/Preferences. Then do a permissions repair using the Disk Utility app found in HD/Applications/Utilities. In the left hand pane of the Disk Utility window seclect your hard drive icon and then click on repair permissions. Takes about 3 minutes to repair. Then relaunch iDVD and see if you still have the problem. iDVD will recreate the .plist file that you deleted.
Check to make sure that you have sufficient free disk space on your boot drive to do a burn. 20GB--25GB often is recommended on this forum.
Switching to a different brand of DVD media will sometimes help. Verbatim, HP, Fuji, Sony are brands frequently recommended here.
Update all programs to current.
Make sure that you have no conflicting 3rd party apps or Quicktime Apps. If so they should be temporary disabled.
Use Disk Utility to burn, and burn at a speed of 4x or lower.
Before you burn make sure that all computer intensive programs, and automatic programs are shut down. Programs like screen savers, power savers, automatic software updates and the like should be turned off.
If your DVD player can play part of the DVD, but then fails, possibly you have a DVD drive problem or a DVD player problem.

System recovery will not complete

I have a Satellite A505 S6005, I have purchased the recovery disks, however, I have tried recovering several times, One time did work but not for long, it locked up after doing window updates. So tried recover again and on the 3rd disc i keep getting error cannot load PREINST15.SWM says to try again, skip, or cancel. Tried again, same Preinst15.swm message, tried the skip button and it is just hanging on initializing the partition. please wait... but left on all night still there locked up. Shut down and turned on got:
ERROR : F3-F200-0002 please press ok and turn of the computer.
Put 1st Toshiba Recovery disc in and chose system recovery options. There is no operating System Listed so i click on load drivers with disc one everything i click on says "The specific loacation does not contain information about your hardware. So HOW do I load drivers? and get my OS system back. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Latest message: tried disc 1 repair your computor. said to restart got message

Because the discs aren't working now, try holding '0' (zero) while booting to see if the recovery utility will load that way.
If that doesn't work, I'd contact customer support at (800) 457-7777.
