System overheated error code 90D

Sins my computer was new i have problem with that my fan working like a beast on this computer and everytime i install something suddenly i get black screen and ALL power go of, the laptop die.. When i start it i get the message that he was overheated and error code 90D. Is it any fix or way to get away from this problem??? I have send it away one time on warranty but still very big problems with this and now i dont have any warranty left. Yesterday i buid a new harddisk and a laptop cooler to place it on but dont help.. I had bios F.29 in it but when i updated it yesterday i get F.26 automatic. I also installed Hp Coolsense but dont help that either. I have tried 3 different os now from windows, win 7, 8 and 10. Still the same problem..

Can't run System Profiler, error code -10660

Hi-
I am trying to determine if my daughter's B/W g3 (350 mhz, 512 mb, OS 10.3.9) will accept a new, modest 20" flat panel she'll be getting for Christmas.
I can't run system profiler, or disc utility to see what's under the hood. I keep getting 'error code -10660'
Any ideas?
Any recommendations for the monitor would be appreciated also. I was thinking something about $200.

If you're trying to launch the application by opening a document, select the document in the Finder, choose Get Info from the File menu, and set it to open with the correct application in the Open With section. If you're opening the application directly or through another method other than opening the document, move it to the Applications folder; that error means that the application set as the default wasn't found or is in the Trash.

Note: I didnt get any pop up asking for user name and password.

My PCMCIA-GPIB cannot start in win2000 system, tne error code is code 10

I installed the Driver V1.60 on my PC,and the PC can identify the card as PCMCIA-GPIB.But It cannot tested pass,as I open the Device manager,I can see the card is errored as "cannoe start,the error code is code 10",
and the resouce all are "?".

This type of problem is difficult to diagnose without getting more information. Does it pass Diagnostics? If it fails, what part fails. Error 10 is not a common GPIB error. First I recommend going to http://www.ni.com/support/gpib/pnp2000/default.htm to troubleshoot.

LSMW: "Error in Uploading File" error code 6

Hi All,
I have created a simple LSMW project for deletion of Purchase Requisition in Development server. It is working as per the requirement there. But when I tried to Export the project and import it into our Production Server, system gives "Error in Uploading file".
Hence, I recreated the project in Production system. Here again when I reached the step "Read Data" the same error occured. I wanted system to read the Purchase requisition numbers from a text file which i have already mapped in the steps previous to " Read Data".
Also, system says "Error Code 6"
Can anyone please highlight possible causes of this error message?

first you have to check TEXT file data - why because you are tested in Development server with test data , but that same test date not available in Production server na
prepare PR numbers from Production server -convert into Txt. format
while running LSMW - close all Excel file and Text file ,
at the time of Import and Export - system will start Specify Files- item - that time you will give Production data Text file then Upload

My powerbook g4 (with os x 10.4) has been running really slow since I reinstalled the system software. I reinstalled b/c i bought this used and wanted to change the name of the computer, settings, etc. When i reinstalled tiger, i connected it to my PowerMac G4 so i could transfer the user settings, applications, etc to the laptop (note- my PowerMac G4 is on 10.3.9). since then it's been running slow & a couple of weird things are going on:
1. whenever i try to download something from the web, i click on the dmg file on my desktop, i get this message: unmountable image or disk or something to that effect.
2. i was just running Onyx in hopes of getting things working more smoothly and faster & when i was optimizing the system this error code came up:
Insecure $ENV{PATH} while running setuid at /usr/bin/update/prebinding line 55.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this? I'd rather fix it then reinstall the system software and all of my apps. thanks!

You may want to wipe the book's hard drive again, if you're backed up, and give it another try. Be more selective in what you bring over from the PowerMac and how soon.

MacBook freezes / AHT gives Error Code

Hello everybody,
I searched the forums for the same error code but found none. In the last few weeks my MacBook froze in several different situations (while not in use, while closing and sending it to sleep, etc.) These cases were not hardware-hungry. Only Mail, Firefox and Adium where running.
The first time this happened I tried the AHT and it found following error:
4SNS/1/40000000:TG1H-81.500
I ran the AHT several times and everytime the code appeared except the last four digits. At the local ASP they did a PRAM reset and the error was gone. This week everything happened again – frozen system, same error code, etc. Even with a PRAM reset and an SMC reset the problem was not solved.
Does anyone have a clue? What shall I do?

My Macbook is now out of waranty – but I phoned with the Apple Hotline before, because I had this problem in the warranty time and a ASP didn’t change hardware. They did a PRAM reset and everything was fine. I tried this and an SMC reset but with no success. So the Apple Hotline gave me some 30 extra days of warranty because the original problem was not fixed during the waranty time. Ok, and now the »problem« is, that suddenly the error code doesn’t appear in AHT anymore and I don’t know why. In a way I could be glad, that the error disappeared and that my hardware seems to be ok. But I thought that if the AHT finds an error, that definetly the hardware has a deffect. May the the error still be existent but at the moment unfindable for the AHT?
So how are the chances that the hardware will be repaired with no costs for me? How can I proof that this error occurs sporadical? Is there any known case where this happened?

Error Code 88709 Reading NI USB-6225 OEM

We have an issue that exists on one of two nearly identical systems that use NI USB-6225 OEM cards. We are reading 75 channels at 1 kHz once per second. On one of two systems the Error Code -88079 occurs intermittantly and when this happens the DAQ measurements stop though the code does not freeze. We do not write to the 6225 card, the only thing we are doing is reading the AI channels.
Our LabVIEW version is 2013 SP1 f2 and NI-DAQmx is version 14.1. NI MAX is v14.0.0f0.
The first system runs on a Windows 7 desktop workstation and has serial mass flow controller software with timers to change flow and concentrations based on a control file as well as a MODBUS TCP NDIR interface. This system is complex but works perfectly.
The second system runs on a Windows 8 laptop. The mass flow software, timers, and NDIR interface were removed from the code of the first system to simplify the software for the second system.
It is only the second system that produces the Error Code -88079. This can happen once a month or several times a day.
I've removed all the 'bloatware' from the Windows 8 laptop and ensured that nothing is set to hybernate or sleep and also turned off the Windows and other automatic updates because these systems must run 24/7 for a year.
So, what is the best resolution for the Error Code -88079 problem with the second system?
The DAQ card was calibrated and tested ISO-17025 through NI by an independant agency so it is not likely to be faulty but we could replace it with another (not ISO-17025) card we have on hand for diagnosis
The USB cable is a possibility. We could obtain a high quality USB cable and make sure the ends fit tightly. Disconnecting the USB cable when the code is running produces Error Code -88079...
Any other suggestions?

Could you give more detail about the error that you are getting? What are the steps to reproduce the error? Is there any descriptive text at all in the error dialog box - maybe post a screenshot of the error?
Also, as you mentioned I believe it would be a good idea to ensure that you are using a quality USB cable.

PI 7.11 sp6 system copy Exchange Profile error code: 399

Experts,
We have a PI 7.1 (EHP1, sp6) PI system based on AIX 6.1 OS and Oracle 11g.
I recently did the standard PI system copy from a prod source (PIP) to a training target (PIT).
I used the most recenty PI system copy guide that is specific for PI 7.1 EHP1
I did not run into any major problems doing the steps of the copy itself.
I did the usual "post" steps, documented in the guide that really are done on any NW system.
Then I got into the specific "PI" post steps and that's where I now have a problem.
I followed all the steps, fixing my RFCs, JCos, Destinations, cleaning up SLD, SLDAPICUST, creating new business systems...etc.
My big problem is with the exchange profile. Yes, it's easy to change all the SIDs and hostnames using the search tool for all the parameters in the exchange profile, but the one I COULD NOT CHANGE was the "ABAP Connection". In there right after the copy was the hostname of the prod system, the client, and the user PILDUSER. I attempted to put the hostname of my target (PIT) system, but I would get the error:
com.sap.rprof.dbprofiles.DBException: RFC call returned an error code: 399
I'm certain the user is NOT locked and the password is correct for PILDUSER. It'll give me a different error if I put the wrong password in, so I know it's hitting my system.
Worse yet, If I left the hostname in there that was set to "prod", then when I changed all the other values in the "parameters" section of the XI profile, then it actually changed my PROD system!!
If I keep the ABAP connection to PIT, then the entire exchange profile disappears for PIT.
I see these errors in the default trace and application log:

I can't be the first person to run into this.
SO strange that I can actually plug in either my dev/QA or PROD hostname in the "ABAP connection" box and it WILL ACCEPT IT...but then, it registered my training system as a "non central adapter engine". I don't want that.
Any ideas?
Another issue is that the SLD PI information from the PIT system is missing the "Integration Directory". It has the other 5 entries...Adapter Engine, Domain, Integration Repository, Integration Server, RWB.

Process Description:
Target Database Server Reside on different Server in the Network
SSIS Package runs from a Remote Server
SSIS Package use a ForEachLoop Container to loop into a directory to do Bulk Insert
SSIS Package use variables to specified the share location of the files using UNC like this
\\server\files
Database Service accounts under the Database is runing it has full permission on the share drive were the files reside.
In the Execution Results tab shows the prepare SQL statement for the BULK insert and I can run the same exact the bulk insert in SSMS without errors, from the Database Server and from the server were SSIS package is executed.
I am on a dead end and I don’t want to re-write SSIS to use Data Flow Task because is not flexible to update when metadata of the table changed.

Insteresting how I fixed the issue, Adding the Application Name into the SQL OLAP Connection String Fixed the issue. I am not sure why SQL Server wasn't able to open the file remotely without this.

SSRS 2005 report: Cannot bulk load Operating system error code 5(Access is denied.)

I built a SSRS 2005 report, which calls a stored proc on SQL Server 2005. The proc contains following code:

When I try to run the report from BIDS I got following error:
*Cannot bulk load because the file "\aseposretail\c$\nz\promo_names.txt" could not be opened. Operating system error code 5(Access is denied.).*
Note: I have gooled a bit and see many questions on this but they are not relevant because I CAN run the code no problem in SSMS. It's the SSRS having the issue. I know little about the security of SSRS.

I'm having the same type of issue. I can bulk load the same file into the same table on the same server using the same login on one workstation, but not on another. I get this error:
Msg 4861, Level 16, State 1, Line 1
Cannot bulk load because the file "\\xxx\abc.txt" could not be opened. Operating system error code 5(Access is denied.).
I've checked SQL client versions and they are the same, I've also set the client connection to TCP/IP only in the SQL Server Configuration Manager. Still this one workstation is getting the error. Since the same login is being used on both workstations and it works on one but not the other, the issue is not a permissions issue. I can also have another user login into the bad workstation and have the bulk load fail, but when they log into their regular workstation it works fine. Any ideas on what the client configuration issue is? These are the version numbers for Management Studio:
