System Preferences ask me to move to iCloud but I'm already there. What's going on?
Hello all,
I'm a little confused. Every time I go to system preferences and select iCloud I get the pane which tells me to move my MobileMe account to iCloud. So every time I select it and it takes me to the mobileme page and onto the find my iphone (no idea why). This obviously doesn't work and it tells me to open iCloud, which I do. That then takes me to find my phone so I then click on the little cloud in the top left hand corner and that takes me to the iCloud where I can see mail, contact, calendar etc.
What's going on? All input welcome!

I've been tryin to sort this out on my Mum's iMac for a while now with now success but thanks to your instructions, it's now fixed! Another family member had signed in with MobileMe and was permanently logged in under a different account. After logging out of MobileMe iCloud is now working fine.

System Preferences ONLY opens to Move to iCloud
I've moved my mobile Me account to iCloud and have repeatedly followed the steps. I can log on to my iCloud accout. The problem is that whenever I try to open iCloud in System Preferences (so I can turn on Photostream and select other features) the only screen that ever comes up is the same intro screen that asks me to move Mobile Me over, which I've already done. I got through the steps, but it still only opens to that screen.
Same issue. My iPad and iPhone are on iCloud and it works. I can actually see that my documents and contacts are there when I get sent to mobile. which then sends me to iCloud. Since I can't get the past being sent to move from mobile.me at the system preferences, I can't use photostream. Extremely annoying

MobileMe system preference hangs on "Finishing move to iCloud-"
I moved from MobileMe to iCloud on 2/27/12. My MobileMe preferences displayed a message reading: "Finishing move to iCloud…" Seven hours later it was still there and I was unable to quit system preferences. I force quit System Preferences and am not sure whether there is going to be a problem. Has anyone who experienced this hanging of MobileMe preferences when moving to iCloud found there to be a problem using iCloud after force quitting?
Mine did the same, on two different computers. I had a lot of data to migrate, so I thought it was just taking a long time. I let it cook overnight, and same thing in the morning, so force quit System Preferences it shall be.

iCloud is available on Lion 10.7.2 or higher. -
I am still on Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and do not have iCloud in my System Preferences. I have registered with iCloud online and backed up my iphone5 last night to my iMac. Where can I find the backup on my iMac?
Below is what comes up when I sign into iCloud - where are all the other applications that I need to backup?

RachelYour question is unclear. If you're backing up to your iMac, (via iTunes, with cable or WiFi), this has nothing to do with iCloud and the backup is stored on your iMac here:

I just purchased an AppleTV and am trying to connect AirPlay with my mac (2012 model) In 'system preferences > displays' an airplay menu is listed but it says 'no device detected'. My AppleTV and macbook are connected to the same network. Any suggestions why it is not working?
Troubleshoot the network as that is likely what is causing the issue.
Also, temporarily disable the firewall on the Mac and disable IPV6 on the computer. -

Ok, I have deleted EVERYTHING off my 16gb ipad. Photos, music, apps. All I have are the standard apps. It says I have used 11gb and only have 1.6 left. When I first bought it I had up to 4 movies and lots of apps, no problems. What's going on please!?

With an iOS device, the “Other” space in iTunes is used to store things like documents, settings, caches, and a few other important items. If you sync lots of documents to apps like GoodReader, DropCopy, or anything else that reads external files, your storage use can skyrocket. With iOS 5/6, you can see exactly which applications are taking up the most space. Just head to Settings > General > Usage, and tap the button labeled Show All Apps. The storage section will show you the app and how much storage space it is taking up. Tap on the app name to get a description of the additional storage space being used by the app’s documents and data. You can remove the storage-hogging application and all of its data directly from this screen, or manually remove the data by opening the app. Some applications, especially those designed by Apple, will allow you to remove stored data by swiping from left to right on the item to reveal a Delete button.

I followed all of these instructions, but still iCloud Calendar will not sync to Outlook Calendar. Calendar entries will sync from Outlook to iCloud, but not vice versa. What do I do now?.
When syncing Contacts or Calendars between an iPhone, iPad, or an iPod touch and Outlook 2003, Outlook 2007, or Outlook 2010, changes that you synced to your computer may not appear in Outlook even after the sync has been completed.Try this article to see if it works for you

I purchased a Shakira movie (HD). I watch it OK in my PC, but when trying to watch it in my TV using Apple TV I get an endless rolling wheel. I can watch other Apple Store movies with no problem. Any idea of what's going on?

I can't update my software because software update tells me I'm not connected to the internet... if that's true how am I able to ask this question?... Can anyone tell me what's going on and what I need to do to correct this?
If you have a slow connection speed, update will not download.

I am using OSX Lion 10.7.2. Quick Time player can open some of 'MOV' format video but some can not. What shall I do?
