System resume issues for G575

HELP!!!
I have a Lenovo G575 notebook running Windows7. Each time mt system goes into sleep mode or shuts down due to low battery life I keep running into the same issue.
Once I press the power button, only when in sleep mode or after auto shutdown due to power failure, The screen will initially act normal by displaying the Microsoft logo and say "resuming windows". Immediately following that instead of the log in screen coming up the display flashes and all I see is multiple colors that are broken up lines and see various colors flashing. The only solution I have seen work for me is to hard power shutdown and restart my system. I then get a message that shows the option to either resume windows or delete restoration data and start windows. If I choose the resume windows the same thing will happen time and time again. If I choose the alternate option it will power up as normal but it will not ever actually restore my last session.
Does anyone out there know what the heck is happening or what I can do to fix this? Do you have the same issues or have seen/heard of this before?
Please help.... Serious people willing to help may text my cell at 707-701-1979. I am in California so PST applies.
Thanks

  • System compatibilty issues for upgrade from LabVIEW 5.0.1 to latest LabVIEW

I have inherited an old experimental set up running with Labview 5.0.1 on WindowsNT with NI acquisition hardware (see attached picture for details) and I want to upgrade to the latest LabVIEW version to run on WindowsXP. Before doing the upgrade I have a few questions:
    - Will there be a compatibility issue between the hardware and the new software/environment ? (ie. will a hardware upgrade be necessary ?)
    - Will any of the application G programming code that drives our experiment be re-usable or will a complete rewrite be needed ? I am a LabVIEW programming beginner and would very much prefer only a slight modification of our existing code
    - Alternatively I tried to run the application with LabVIEW 5.0.1 on WindowsXP and although all the hardware was recognised,  the set up recorded some strange data: the voltage curve had the expected shape but wrong values. Any ideas what happened ? (both NIdaqmx and Traditional drivers were installed on this PC).
    Many thanks for your help,

    Hi Nick
On general basis I think you can transfer you design to Labview 8.x and run the code. But it is some obstacles on the road. First of all you can not read your old 5.0 code in 8.x. But the trick is to convert it to a newer version like say 7.0 or 7.1 Then you can read it Labview 8.x. You can post your code in this forum. Someone will help you with the conversion. I also guess your Daq board is not supported by the new DaqMX driver. So you may use an older daq driver. The same thing apply to the GPIB driver I think. You should call NI and ask them for advice regarding which driver to use.
Then you install Labview 8.x on the new computer do not install any Daq driver or GPIB driver. This because you can not replace driver with an older one. Then you install an older driver to a newer Labview system some files might get installed in the wrong folder. Read this to avoid this to happened http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/F185E098C7EC5A3486256D2E00691BB2
    Some GPIB issues
If your GPIB card is made for ISA buss, I think you have to get a new one. Modern computers do not have ISA buss. It is also possible that your old program is not made for VISA. But it should not be to hard to convert to VISA. Or you may take a look at and see if NI has a VISA driver for instrument.
    Good Luck
Besides which, my opinion is that Express VIs Carthage must be destroyed deleted
(Sorry no Labview "brag list" so far)

  • Performance Issue for BI system

    Hello,
We are facing performance issues for BI System. Its a preproductive system and its performance is degrading badly everyday. I was checking system came to know program buffer hit ratio is increaasing everyday due to high Swaps. So asked to change the parameter abap/buffersize which was 300Mb to 500Mb. But still no major improvement is found in the system.
There is 16GB Ram available and Server is HP-UX and with Netweaver2004s with Oracle 10.2.0.4.0 installed in it.
The Main problem is while running a report or creating a query is taking way too long time.
    Kindly help me.

    Hello SIva,
Thanks for your reply but i have checked ST02 and ST03 and also SM50 and its normal
we are having 9 dialog processes, 3 Background , 2 Update and 1 spool.
No one is using the system currently but in ST02 i can see the swaps are in red.

I am running OS 10.5.8 on an iMac. There is no security update issued for this operating system - it only covers 10.6. Is my comuter vulnerable? Do I need to do anything?

I'm still not clear why Apple only issued security updates for 10.6 and later. I assume they think we should all update our operating systems or maybe they are just focusing on the majority of users?
Apple has had a long standing policy of only supporting the current and previous operating system releases.  Whether they decide to make an exception for even older releases is anyone's guess.
You can send them feedback to express your opinion.
Or does the new Trojan not affect older OS? I'd like to know , if anyone has information.
As far as is known, it does affect older unsupported releases.  Disabling Java in your web browser is the current preventive approach (and that is a community derived approach)

  • Goods Issue for Reservation using Bar Code System

    Hi,
Our client wants to use RF devices to post the goods issue for reservations (movement 261) and reversals of these movements (262). I have checked the RF t codes and I do not see this functionality available.
Typically client wants to select a reservation from the list (run MB26 on handheld) and then post GI by selecting the reservation.
Can anybody suggest how to handle this situation using handhelds?
    Thanks,

    HI,
you should developed your own transaction for this functionality.
You can find some documentation on service.sap.com/scm [Radio Frequency (RF Programming Guideline) |http://service.sap.com/~form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01100035870000341390&]

  • Office 2013 - Word cannot establish a connection with this document after the system resumed from suspend mode

    Hiya!
This issue has been answered numerous times for Office 2010 and Office 2007, but I have yet to any solutions or Hotfixes that work for Office 2013 (x64) on Win7.
    How to replicate the issue:
Open a file from a network share.
    Edit file.
Leave computer on with file open. Computer goes to sleep or into stand-by mode.
    Wait a bit
    Wake up computer
CPU opens file in Read-Only mode and gives you the following error "Word cannot establish a network connection with this document after the system resumed from suspend mode. Save the document into a different file to keep any changes."
    What I've tried:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2434898 - Office 2007 registry fixes. Does not apply.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2413659 - Office 2010 problem. This exact issue. Says 'No microsoft products that match this hotfix are installed'
    Work Around:
I can saving new versions of these files overrides this issue, but this is sometimes not possible for end-users who only have specific access to ONE SPECIFIC FILE in a particular network share.
Please let me know how I can alleviate this issue!
    Thanks
    -Chris

    Hi,
Are those problematic documents created via previous versions of Office?
Please also try to run a repair of your Office 2013 installtion and check if it helps. See:

AMD Catalyst Omega Driver: 14.501.1003.0 WHQL (latest non-beta driver)
When booting my computer in UEFI mode, occasionally, my monitor does not wake from sleep and the screen remains black until Windows takes over and the login screen displays. This seems to usually occur after the computer has been powered off for more than 10 minutes. Sometimes this never happens, the screen remains black the whole time, and I need to hard reset. Sometimes it boots fine.
This black screen / no signal issue also occurs far more frequently when attempting to resume from sleep. I strike a key on the keyboard or hit the power button while the computer is in sleep mode, the computer wakes up, but the monitor never turns on. This forces me to either hard shutdown or reset in order to restore graphics.
In addition, I have a Razer keyboard that shuts off its backlight when the display is turned off, and it remains off when this problem occurs. This likely means that there is a problem with the card, drivers, or something else, rather than cabling. I might just RMA if we don't get anywhere here.
Perhaps a good first step would be ensuring that my card is flashed with the latest vBIOS. Can you send a link to that?
I'm also wondering if ULPS might be interfering, even though I am not in a CrossFireX setup.
Other than this MAJOR issue, the card works fine when playing 3D games. Though, I had major issues with video artifacts when playing 2D games or doing anything else simple (web browsing, moving windows) because of the absolutely terrible decision to underclock the past couple generations of AMD cards so much that the GPU can't function. I solved this by modifying an OverDrive profile to raise the idle clock to 850 MHz, but not overclocking at all.
    Thank you.
Meta discussion for the mods (feel free to PM me if you would like to discuss this further, in order to keep the discussion here on topic): sorry for not immediately opening up another forum topic when commenting on this issue. Every single other community that I've been a part of prefers to keep users with the same problem on the same thread. In my experience, mods yell at people for opening up duplicate bug reports and duplicate issues far more than they ask people to fragment information across multiple threads, therefore making it difficult to consolidate information.

It could be a mobo issue, but all of the quirks seem to point to the card.
I do not recall if I tested the card in another PC, but I no longer have a second desktop to test with.
I do think I tested an NVIDIA card on a separate Windows install with this build though. No issues there if my memory serves correctly. I've been troubleshooting this issue for months, and I'm becoming tired of this stubborn problem, so the attempts at problem-solving are becoming blurred.
    vBIOS is attached.

  • HP 2510p fans spin non-stop on system resume

I was having difficulty with my hp 2510p laptop fans spinning at maximum after system resume.  This makes for a undesirably noisy laptop.
Searching online I found users of redhat/fedora experiencing the same issues.  It seems like is a kernel issue that on the link was fixed with the update to 3.9.2-200.fc18.x86_64.  I am running kernel 3.19.2-1-ARCH and still experience this issue.  If others have this problem, the workaround they posted about changing the values of `/sys/class/thermal/cooling_device*/cur_state` from 1 to 0 worked for me (did not test on system resume but manually changing them decreased the fans to a normal level).
Is there a better fix to this issue?  As my kernel version is more up-to-date than the one in which the redhad/fedora users experienced the correction, I would think I am missing a more simple step that should correct this.  Creating a script to revert these values back to 0 seems like a bit of a hack rather than actually addressing the problem.

    Hi-
It could be logic board, or graphics card, or PSU.......it could be a corrupt OS.

If it looks like the issue is server-side, check the event logs (including the System event log) for any relevant errors

  • Transformation Issue for 2LIS_03_BF

    Dear All.
I am facing very strange issue for 0IC_C03 with the transformation of 2LiS_03_BF the cube was first got loaded from our Sandbox and every thing was fine, latter we connect BW development with R/3 development.
i have transfer all the data source for MM Inventory and try to create the transformation for 2LiS_03_BF for the infosource 2LIS_03_BF_TR but it did not map any field, but with the sand box client with the same data source it mapped all the fields.
Also when i try to load the 2lis_03_bf it make all the key field values to 0 even the process key is determined correctly in the R/3 side and Industry determination is alo set and also in BF10 BW is selected.
i try to debug the update rule and found that the process key and the value is updated correctly in the routine but after that there is an exception coming CX_RSROUT_SKIP_VAL.
    please help....

Yes reinstalling the business contents solve the problem and it come up with all the mappings but the strange problem is that all of my key figures after loading showing '0' value.
i try to simulate the DTP by applying a break point on one routine and during the debugging it is filling the correct values and after some steps its throwing a CX_RSROUT_SKIP_VAL exception which might deleting the target value.
i am totally lost that why this exception is coming as before it never comes it only comes when we connect the development system and try to load the cube from there.
in between can you please help me out for getting rid of this exception.
    thanks & best regards,

  • Print layout - Goods issue & Issue for Production

I designed two print layouts separately 1 in Goods issue for Goods issue in inventory module
and 1 in Issue for production for Issue for production in production module.
If i take a print preview or print in Issue for production , it will reflects the print layout designed in Goods issue.
    regards
    kavitha S

    Hi Kavitha,
I think, are you duplicate the Goods issue PLD Template to Issue for Production PLD Template on Duplicate Layout Template.
Best, Try to create a New PLD from Issue for Production(System) PLD.
    Regards,
    Madhan.

  • Error while adding  the issue for production (item cost not found)

    Hi all,
    The scenario is,
when the user is trying to add the issue for production system is showing error item cost not
found. The item which is issued is Inventory + purchase item with manual issue method. The valuation
method for that item is FIFO.since the valuation method is FIFO,error related to item cost should
    not occur.
Since the valuation method is FIFO.Item cost error should not occur.
The error related to item cost must not occur at the time of issue for production.
    Regards-
    Mona.

    Hi!

  • HP 6600 Scan\Print Driver Issue for Windows 7 Professional 64 bit

    Hello,
For some time now I have been unable to scan or print from my desktop (Windows 7 Professional 64bit) and I have exhausted too much effort and am now bringing it to the masses.
    The problem:
Printing:  Currently receiving an "Error - Offline" message in my printer queue at all times.
Scanning:  Scanning has never fully worked on this desktop. I am always unable to communicate with the printer. (Though webscan works through accessing the printers IP address)
    Things I have tried:
Ran HPPSDr, followed directions (Unpluged power to printer, turn back on, restart computer) brings me to this website after it cannot fix. (Note that while the HPPSDr is running it always notions that there is a driver problem)
Uninstalled Drivers from CD-ROM, re-installed, countless times
Installed "Windows 7 Pro 64 bit drivers" from the HP website and uninstalled, countless times.
Attempted to set a static IP and use "Update IP Address" to point specifically at the printers IP.
Installed Drivers and finding the printer myself through it's own static IP address.
Turned off firewall and attempted to print (after reboot), same errors
Setting up the printer on all of my laptops (3) wirelessly to attempt to find if there is a problem with the printer or static IP. (1 is Windows VISTA 32bit and the other 2 are Ubuntu 32bit). All laptops are able to use the printer wirelessly without any problems.
Read all of the forums about this issue and attempted all of the 'solutions'. Although I mostly don't see that anyone with this same problem is resolved, unless I'm missing the perfect post.
    Things I have not tried:
Plugging the USB directly into the desktop. (This seems self defeating as the purpose for this printer was to be able to print wirelessly to it from across the room)
Re-installed Windows 7 Pro 64bit (Trying to avoid this, would rather just print from laptops)
    You tell me
    Curiosities:
I have noticed strange things that make me believe the driver is somehow incomptable with my OS. Here is a shot of the properties of the printer:
Weird that it is not recognizing the model number.
Also in the Printer Settings when I go to the port tab, there is no port selected, if I try and tab away it forces me to select a port, yet when I do and 'apply' and then re-open the Printer Settings in the ports tab; it has again unselected the previously selected port.
    Theories:
I feel like my OS is just refusing to notice the IP address for the wireless printer, no matter what I have it set to, even if it's dynamic. It's like the driver for Windows 7 Pro 64bit is actually not the correct driver for my system.
Anyways, another thing to mention is that I am not currently willing to wipe my operating system and re-install Windows 7 Pro in order to resolve this just yet. I want to see if anyone else has any other avenues I can try before even beginning to consider that.
Anyways, thanks in advance for taking the time to read my ramblings and hopefully someone who has resolved this issue can help me.

    Hi Zerosouls,
I understand you are having an issue with HP 6600 Scan\Print Driver Issue for Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.
First try to click the Windows icon, type services in the Search box, and then click or tap View Local Services. Scroll down to the Windows Installer. Startup type should be - Automatic, and Service Status should be - started
Restart the computer after this step and try installing Hp Officejet 6600 again.
