System should nt consider stock at vendor for reservation

Dear Gurus,
I have searched a lot in google , but i did nt get any suitable answer, for the below requirement
At present system is considering the stock at vendor during reservation, how to avoid this situation., and system should nt allow for reservation if there is no stock.please guide me with detailed explanation.

1. Go to OMB1 and click on "Transaction code" and check the checking rule assigned against the transaction code MB21.
2. Check the availability check assigned for the material in MRP 3 view or in sales / General Data tab.
3. Go to OMB1 and click on "Define Checking Rule". Here, select the combination of the availability check and checking rule combination and go to details:
Here, under "stocks" tab, maintain the "W/o Subcontracting" flag as shown below:
4. Go to OMB1 and click on "movement type" and maintain the dynamic availability check indicator as E or F for the required movement type.
5. Go to MMBE and check stock.
Here, only 850 qty is available in storage location and 50 is with vendor.
6. Create reservation in MB21 with the movement type and enter quantity more than the available stock. System will issue message M7 181 as shown below:
Test the same and revert back.

Dear Sampath/Raj,
1) Move the stock to particular storage location for which you don't want to be consider by MRP
2) Now go to OMIR t-code, input value as 1 for that particular storage location
3) Go to MMSC, input value as 1 for that particular storage location
4) Go to MRP - 4 view Down you can find field Storage location input value as 1
5) Now run MRP, system will not consider stock of that particular storage location

In that case again you can use MV45AFZZ program and USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMP. If this exit didnt work you can try in other save or prepare to save exits in this same program. For order statuses and authorization you can use status profile and control authorization through an authorization object. For email use email sending function and users will receive an email whenever some specific condition value is changed.
This will be ABAP coding in above mentioned program using implicit enhancement. There is no standard solution for this and you have to go for customization.

MRP has to consider stock of Scheme and Space

Hi Experts,
I have got a new requirement at the time of planning MRP has to consider stock of Scheme (for increasing sales client has kept one plus one offer) and Space (either space is available in wm or not). It is purely MTS scenario.
Can any help me how to achieve the requirement.

Hello
There is no such thing as "Scheme" on MRP.
Also, MRP does not check if there is enough space on WM. An option here would be to use a lot sizing procedure with a maximum stock level.

When you click the button for create delivery, a small pop-up appears.
Which field is empty on this pop-up?
Shipping-point?
Shipping point is determined based on loading group of material master, shipping condition from customer master.
So you can have various options for an error:
Missing entry in shipping point determination for the combination of loading group, shipping condition and plant.
Missing link vendor master to customer master (vendor master control data view)
Wrong entry for loading group in material master,
wrong entry for shipping condition in customer master.

Strategy 25 will not consider the existing stock.
What you enter in MRP4 view ind/collective rquirement is applicable only for dependent requirement.

Batch determ. in Process Order doesn't consider Stock Provided to Vendor

Dear Forum,
We have a problem with the following scenario:
We use Process Orders to manage our Subcontracting process. This is standard SAP, where the Operation is defined as 'external', and this works fine.
The scenario which we can not seem to be able to work is the following:
When executing batch determination for the component(s) which are batch relevant, the system does not show the batch stocks which are already at the subcontractor, i.e. Special Stock 'O' stock provided to vendor.
This is strange, because:
- In the availability check the flag 'W/o subcontracting' is not set.
- The batches in the subcontracting location fulfil the selection criteria which have been defined in the batch determination Selection Class.
Does somebody have experience with this? Any hints are welcome.

Hi Mark,
As I understand you determine the batches in the process order.
From SAP point of view it means that you determine the stock which is to be provided to the vendor. Components with batches are copied into the PO when it is created from the PurReq and system will use this stock (batches) automatically when you execute MB1B541PO reference.
Later, when you do the GR against this PO, the same batch(es) will appear automatically for components-to-be-consumed (by mvt 543).

So, SAP's concept is that the batches which are determined in the order are those batches which are to be sent to the vendor - these batches will be posted from your storage location to the subcontractor. Stock in special stock segement "O" ar at the sc-vendor.
As per my best knowledge there's no solution in standard system for that if you want to determine such batches in the order which are located at the subcontractor...

System should not pick reserved stock

i want to block Reserved stock while creating sales order
ex: 150 qty kept In reserve for customer , Total plant stock 1000
Now if user created sales order with 150 qty Normally system will pick 150 qty From reserved stock ( 412 E)
Here user requirement system should not pick Reserved stock 150 Bz in critical situation is there Like non production of stock
ex total stock in the plant 175 only there ( ex 155,180,200,170) So in this situation only system will pick Reserved stock 150
Otherwise Reserved stock should be in reserved place only bz if is not like this always we have keep stock in reserve

as per my Knowledge If we Reserve the stock By OVZ9 Include sales req check box it will be unrestricted it wont go to sales order
when stock is not there you can reverse the stock to normal stock by using 411E
i think this is only solution

What Mac Pro specs should I consider for photography?

After years of putting up with various pc configurations, I've decided to take the plunge and go over to a Mac Pro system.
I have up to £4000 to invest on a system to use primarily for my work as a photographer. But which areas should I concentrate on when configuring my set-up? Given that Photoshop seems happy to suck up as much memory and processing power as one can throw at it, a sizeable amount of RAM and a decent speed of processor appears obvious. But how much RAM and what size processor, bearing in mind that my image file sizes are usually around the 300Mb mark and often go as high as 700Mb when containing unflattened layers? These file sizes have rendered my supposed powerful Dell to performing at a snails pace. Also, what else should I consider in my configuration?
My image library is stored on a separate drive, so I could probably live with a reduced hard drive capacity if necessary.
Incidentally, I am far from being a computer boffin, so I'd appreciate advice which isn't overly technical.

I'm in the UK and I use my Mac Pro for Video and Photography and I've had a few Mac Pro's getting to my ideal solution. If you are only using it for Photography I think you would be fine with 8Gb of RAM but if you fill out all 8 slots with 2Gb modules from Crucial it's not too bad to go to 16Gb. My advice would be to run the Mac Pro on a large Western Digital Caviar Black (their quickest) such as the 2Tb model. Then, I'd invest in a Tempo SATA card so you can purchase either a Drobo or a Hive for your Vault for Aperture so you have total peace of mind with your data. Display wise, just buy an Apple 30" Cinema before they replace it with a glossy version. They are absolutely superb for Video and Photography but beware, if they go wrong and they are in the bin, so buy AppleCare immediately. I've listed my setup below with where to buy and costs in UK pounds. Good luck and enjoy.

All the prices are inclusive of the dreaded VAT so if you are VAT registered you can save. I would say that with Aperture 3 you need full Photoshop less than ever, I'd consider Elements to start with to save some cash. You could also look at a Drobo instead of the Hive but we bought both in our office and the Drobo is painfully slow in comparison to the Hive and the Hive uses a dedicated Hardware RAID where the Drobos use a software version and I've heard some horror stories from Drobo owners.

You wrote that I should check out "Please see - AppleUSBEthernetHost.kext error on installing iTunes update" and I did so.
There I found your reply of 9/1014 7:06 PM to j'ski stating: "There is a larger thread here which you may want to follow - system extension cannot be used AppleUSBEthernetHost.kext ."
And an earlier Post by Greg Earle of 9/10/14 5:57 PM stating: " You would have been better off doing open /System/Library/Extensions and then finding the AppleUSBEthernetHost.kext kernel extension icon in the Finder window that came up and moving it to the Trash."
And a subsequent Post on 9/15/14 at 2:59 PM by Rob Maurer stating: "This method worked perfectly for me. I am on a Mac Pro running Mountain Lion. Dragged the kext file to trash (I use EasyFind. Found the file, Revealed in Finder, dragged to Trash, entered admin password when requested). Downloaded iTunes 11.4 from the website. Installed from that download. Checked for that kext file in EasyFind again and found it had a creation date of 7/29/14 (the trashed one had a creation date from 2009). No more error messages. ITunes opens fine. Everything good. Will not update on my MacBook Pro until they fix this issue.

Is this a minor matter that can be ignored? Any suggestions on what I should do?

The faster (and way more recommended) way to do this is to run a permissions repair from disk utility.
Open Applications -> Utilities -> Disk Utility -> Click on Macintosh HD -> then in the right pane there is a "Repair Disk Permissions" button click on this. It should repair all permissions to their proper settings.
Another option is to manually repair them on this kext only. This involves opening Terminal and running the following commands.
sudo chown -R 0:0 /System/Library/Extensions/IOFireWireWDHID.kext
sudo chmod -R 755 /System/Library/Extensions/IOFireWireWDHID.kext
Otherwise if you don't have any firewire devices it doesn't really matter.

Darned drivers. Did you try using it without the drivers? They may already be in Mountain Lion. I'm super wary of vendor drivers for OS X; they're terrible and often an OS version out of date.
To re-install OS X, log into the Mac App Store, go to "purchased," re-download Mountain Lion, and double click "Install Mountain Lion" as you did the first time. You won't lose data (have a backup!) and an hour later you should be good to go.
After that, try using the printer WITHOUT installing the darned Lexmark drivers.
