System showing Wrong Billing Date of Billing Document number

Hi,
We have created a Billing Document Number 2010352872 on today dtd. 18/11/2010 but system is showing its Billing Date 17/11/2010. Why??
Please help...

Billing date is different from the Creation date.
Document creation date is the date on which the Billing was created and it would be 18th in your case and
Billing date is the Date proposed from the Actual GI date from the Delivery Document and it was 17th In your case
Billing date can be taken into consideration while creating the Billing documents collectively
Billing date is the date on which the Accounting document should post

You have two options here. you can chose either of these solutions:
1.
A. T-Code: VTFL ( if using del related billing) For the billing document and delivery, at item level assign the copying requirement 011 or if you are currently using some other routine then you can use following in that
VBRK-FKDAT = SY-DATUM.
B. T-code VTFA (if using order related billing)
Similar to A, using copying requirement 011.
2. You may also try option of Checking in the User Exit for the Program RV60AFZA & RV60AFZA.

Custom master data for Sales Document Number

Is it possible to create master data for "sales document number" as a custom field and/or table in R/3? We have a need to record the "end user" customer of an order but this data may be updated a long time after the order and sale is complete. IT seems that loading to BW/BI may be simpler if this is treated as document attributes rather than transactional data since no delta will be trigger by changes to this field. Does anyone have experience with this approach?

it is possible to create attributes for this InfoObject. Add the Attributes you need in BW. You can use the attributes even if the sales doc is line item dimension of your cube.
On Sourcesystem side you have to create a generic extractor in SBIW. I think a table view on VBAK or VBAP may fullfill your needs. Of course the tables are not the smallest ones but maybe u can use the timestamp to implement a generic delta. Check whether the timestamp is set when the 'end user' is set. Not every change in the sales document leads to an entry in the delta queue of logistic, but the timestamp should be set.
After that replicate the datasource to BI and connect it to the attributes of 0SALES_DOC
I had a similar enhancement at one customer reading the actual transport routes to the sales documents and it worked fine.

Change Billing Date in Billing Document

Hi,
I want to write a program to automate Changing Billing Document.
Currently, I do it manually :
vfx3 -> select the billing doc which needs to be changed -> change billing doc (shift + f8) -> Go To -> Header -> Header -> manually change the billing date here -> save it.
Do we have a function module/ bapi for this?

Go to transaction SE37 and type in, for example, BAPIBIL, then click on the drop-down. See the whole bunch of BAPIs? I guess that
BAPI_BILLINGDOC_EDIT might be the right one, don't you think?

Change Scheduled Billing date while Bill Order creation

Hi,
I have requirement where I need to change the scheduled billing date while creating a Bill Order.
I have tried to implement a BADI : ISU_INTERVAL_CHECK for same via transaction code EL01.
There is an issue with the custom BADI created as the changing parameter of this BADI (txy_etrg) does not update the
Scheduled billing date even after modification of scheduled billing date.
Note : I have checked in debugger that changing parameter structure txy_etrg becomes an internal table outside BADI and does not contain the updated scheduled billing date.
Kindly guide how this issue can resolved.
It would be helpful if anyone can help with other BADIs or user exits which I can use to change the scheduled billing date.

Sorry, I can't really help, but I'm genuinely puzzled, why anyone putting out such a requirement believes:
1) something like that (orders deviating from schedule) should work in the first place, and
2) anybody besides SAP's "IS-U team" itself should be in a position to implement something like this without breaking something in the system.
I may be wrong, but everything I know about IS-U tells me - the 'right' way would be to 'reschedule' billing date via portion/schedule record, prior to creation of orders.

As i Know during PDS integration the validity dates are converted from local time zone of the plant in which the production version exists to UTC

EWA alert report for java system shows wrong data

Hi,
In our solman system, EWA alert reports are configured every week for all the production systems (both ABAP and JAVA). Recently oracle database was upgraded from 10g to 11g in all the production systems. The EWA alert report for ABAP systems is correctly taking the 11g database details and is suggesting parameter changes. Unforunately the EWA alert report for Java systems is still pointing to 10g database and is suggesting the parameter changes for 10g only but the systems are on 11g.
In SMSY, the database of the java systems is maintained as 11g only and not 10g. STill we are not sure where the data is being fetched from.
Please help me in finding the issue.

iNote 1482818 would be iapplicable if not java checks are being made. You are not reporting no java checks, you are reportijng the check is being performed, but has the wrong value. When you updated the database dis you perform Solman_setup, Mnaaged system setup?
The reason I ask s that is what prepares the java side for EWA. For isntance if you had on old version of ST-SER such as 700_2008_2 then it does not know about Oracle 11.2....but that is on the ABAP side, you would need ST-SEr 701_2010_1 to
recognize ORacle 11.2 on the ABAP side.
So while I am not 100% sure in this specific instance, it seems logical that if the Java side isn't recognizing the Oracle Database version ( which means it is making this check) then you may need to run the Solman_setup, Mnaged system setup to pick up the ability to detect a new version of Oracel on the Java side.
It is certainly worth the try.

System captures the baseline date as the document date

User has changed the Baseline date as 05/11/2011 in the parked document 12345644/ 54123456 via t-code FV60, however, when the document was posted, the baseline date u201Cdefaultsu201D to the document date.

The system is defaults to capture the document date as baseline date, the user wants to change the baseline date which has been captured by the system, then he changed the baseline date while posting the vendor park invoice.
later he is saying that the changed baseline date is not taken again it has taken the document only. why it has happend like this.
one question:- is user can change the baseline date while posting the vendor invoice ? if he can change how the system should be configured for this where the setting should be made to take baseline date as given by the user.

By applying the same number range in <b>FBN1</b> (for accounting document) and <b>VN01</b> (for billing document), you can have the same number ranges for accounting document and billing document as well.

System showing wrong system uptime.

- I got a very weird problem with my Solaris 10 system.
- System is showing a wrong value of system uptime which is more than thousand days. We tried reboot, RAM & NVRAM changes, all SC parameters changed, but problem is same.
- Can you please give me some clue or idea on this ?
- A change of CMOS battery was performed some time back, but not sure if it causes the issue.

What Kernel rev do you have on that system? (uname -a)
The problem description would suggest you have an issue with your utmpx file, given that's what the uptime(1M) command references. If the value printed by uptime increases, but is not reset by a system reboot, then uptime is pulling out a very old value from the utmpx database. This would suggest that the utmpx, and possible the wtmpx files are not getting updated or written to as they should.
You can use logadm(1M) to either truncate or rotate the utmpx/wtmpx databases.
Have a look at the files to see when they were last updated
Do other commands which access the utmpx/wtmpx databases also produce strange output? Commands such as:
$ who -b (Should display the time of the last boot)
$ who -u
$ who -l
$ last

Mail shows wrong creation dates for some older messages after upgrade to OSX 10.9.

Searching for old mail messages I find that the creation date on many old messages is now incorrect after upgrading my system to OSX 10.9.
Searching mail for messages from a person now results in threads that include unconnected messages and messages that are out of date order making the thread difficult to follow.
Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks.

System shows wrong product version in smsy and SMD Setup Wizard

We have a SOLMAN EHP1 SPS22 running. The Satellite systems are correctly registered in SLD, also the SOLMAN Fetchjobs is running successfully.
I wanted to run the SMD Setup for a NetWeaver ABAP system, when I click in the Setup Wizard on the System the following link is under Managed Products apears: [NOT DIAGNOSTICS RELEVANT] .
By clicking the link you get the products to be managed, but i only two products are for selection.
SAP ERP 6.0 and SAP FSCM 6.0.
In smys checked the assignment in Systems --> <SID> in the Header Tab I clicked Installed Product version. The List in the Pulldown menu in "Product" are the same as above: SAP ERP 6.0 and SAP FSCM 6.0.
I tried to assign the product manually with no luck. Running the Solman_setup for the Diagnostics did not solve the problem either.

Hi Stuart,
In SolMan, goto t-code SMSY-> Product Definitions-> Select any product.
On the right hand side, click on the button "System Roles"-> Click "Select Product".
Now activate the relevant product as required by clicking on the "Active" checkbox.

Billing Date = planned GI date

hei all,
i have requirement that need to set billing date (in billing doc) = planned GI Date or request delivery date.
case:
i made SO for req delivery date = end of month (31.1.2010), system propose Planned GI date (31.1.2010).
in fact, GI will be done in 5.2.2010, then billing date (in billing doc) will be same as actual GI date (5.2.2010)..
all i want is billing date = planned GI date (31.1.2010), because i want to capture exchange rate in that date (31.1.2010) not in 5.2.2010

Dear,
1) Created date means on which date you create invoice but billing date means on which date you want to do bill.
Planned GI date means on which date you want to plan GI. Suppose your planned GI date is 31.01.2010 but your actual GI date in 02.02.2010 then billing date should be 02.02.2010 or after this date.
2) If account not done of billing document then you can change the billing date.
VF02 ---> Display Doc. Header Details --> In Header Tab --> Change Billing Date.
May be it will help to understand matter.
