System update for enhanced calling. Should I install it?

I had a LGG2 and I did the system upgrade a few months ago and it had screwed my phone up ended up having LG replace the phone. Now I have a system update that had been sent to me on this new phone. I have not installed it yet but it is already causing problems with my phone. It is slow to respond, it keeps turning my volume off on my ringer it freezes,and just shuts off. it started right after the update showed up on my phone. I can't imagine what problems will happen if I do install it. Any thoughts? It is obvious to me the system upgrades for this enhanced calling that is a problem. Any thoughts?

If you haven't installed the updates then your problems wouldn't be the update. I'd install it since it has already downloaded, or download if you haven't already. Honestly, install the update and disable the feature on your phone within the settings menu. Instead of having to go online to configure it, the update allows you to enable disable straight from the menu---settings screen. Try it if you want, it's great when it works, but also re-check your voice mail settings as the first time the update installed it changed my basic VM to basic visual vm. To use advanced calling or visual vm you must have data enabled always.

iCloud isn't syncing them on your phone. iCloud didnt' set up a non-iCloud account on your Mac. When you check Mail in System Preferences>iCloud, it only creates an iCloud email account. If you added these other email accounts to your Mac before you upgraded to Mountain Lion, these were simply maintained on your Mac after you upgraded.

Double tap the Home button to bring up the multi-tasking bar...tap & hold any app until they all start to wiggle...tap the red minus sign to remove every app shown. Tap the Home button when finished. Try to delete the app now.

System Update 5.0.2 fails to install on Windows 8.1 Preview

I am trying to install System Update 5.0.2 on a W520 running a fresh install on Windows 8.1 Preview. Solution Center is already installed. No other software has been installed on this box, other than standard windows updates.
When I try to install SU5.0.2, I can get to the EULA screen, click on the "I accept ..." toggle, Next button enables, but does nothing when I click it.
Any suggestions on how to SU5.0.2 to complete?

So first of all you solution.
open Command Controll (CMD) (i would recommend in administator mode)
navigate to the folder where you saved your "systemupdate.exe"
type systemupdate502-06-26-2013.exe /s /a /v"/qn"
(this will install System Update silent. For more inforamtion about that you should visit the microsoft support)
Now wait a bit (depends on how fast your maschine is)
Now open Metro, press this new little "down arow" and there you must find your installed systemupdate
So and now a few words more:
I had this same Problem on a Leaked Final Windows 8.1 version. This means when in October Win8.1 will offical realease, Systemupdate will not work. I think lenovo should go back to his roots and provide the best support they could instead of blocking all work to Windwos 8.1 Threads. I know many people that buy your Laptops only because of the good support.

System Update for R61e

Hi all,
My system update (version 3.14) doesn't seem to be working correctly. I can download the updates but it won't allow me to install them (message saying failed to update) & the manual install link when clicked does nothing at all. Can anyone tell me where the deferred install files get saved on the laptop so I can try finding the relevant .exe to run that way? Many thanks.

I'd really like to get the System Update program working as it should rather than messing about with individual downloads & installs.
I have uninstalled & reinstalled System Update 3.14 & I'm still experiencing the same problems. I've done a Google search & found at least a couple of other users experiencing the same:

Thinkvantage System Update Hot fix 1 did not install (v 1)

This patch is pending on my thinkvantage system update software but it repeately fails to install,( I have even reinstalled Thinkvantage update software as well). Can some one please let me know of a workaround or a manual way to install the patch or even get the patch from the Lenovo site.
I have vantage system update Version: 3.14.0024 and Build date: 2009-6-12 on XP SP3.

Same issue for me (T41, Win XP SP3), Hotfix for System Update does not install.
I assume this hotfix should fix the issue that system update offers to install a hotkey package with a lower version number than the actual one installed ...

Seems to work OK on my system. It did identify two missing drivers and installed them.
The start-up time on the first run was very long 30 seconds or so with the splash screen only.
But it will start and subsequent starts are quicker.

TPT2 System update problem after Windows 10 clean install

Hello, Today I did clean install of Windows 10 on my Thinkpad tablet 2. Chose "keep nothing" to have fresh new Windows. Then Installed newest ThinkVantage System update app. Hoewever when I tried to search for drivers with this app it failed and I got a messege "There are no applicable packages found for your system". ... just open a command line window ("cmd.exe") with administrative priveliges and run the command "powercfg -sleepstudy". This generates a powercfg-HTML-Report in the "Windows\System32" folder where you can drill down the cause for power draining in connected standby mode. Typically WLAN / Bluetooth driver cause the problems - or applications that run with massive CPU-usage in the background. Are you still logged in into WIndows when you turn off the tablet? Then frist try to lock out of Windows and enter the connected standby mode. Then analyse with the powercfg tool. Afterwards repeat this procedure with your logged in WIndows account. With this approach you can compare the basic windows power drain with the power drain including app usage. Good luck! Bernd

Think Vantage System Update 4.0 Missing History of Installed Updates

When I did a clean install of Win7 on a new Lenovo 160Gb HDD, I downloaded TVSU 4.0 and proceeded
to download all applicable Lenovo Win 7 updates. I also downloaded all the necessary Microsoft updates
as well.
When I go to review my installation history of installed updates from Lenovo the page is blank and shows none of the updates I have installed.
I redownloaded TVSU 4.0 and did a repair. Still no installation history.
Another puzzler is that the red up and down arrows in a circle Lenovo system update logo shortcut on my desktop has been replaced with a generic Windows shortcut logo which is still labeled system update.
Any suggestions?

What happens with me is that I get the history of what's installed/downloads, only nothing shows on the Start Menu in Win 7. No ThinkVantage group, nothing.

Downloading system update for MacBook - not

I've been trying to download the update from 10.4.10 to 10.4.11. After a half hour I get the message it has timed out and be sure I'm connected to the net. I am connected. I stay connected via DSL. I opened the Energy Saver control panel and checked to see that all settings are "Never" for the sleep cycle. I don't use that sleep choice. Tried to download an update for Capture 4 and the same thing happened. I paid for that DL and would like to use it. I've never had this non-download problem in 13 years of using Macs. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this so downloads are possible with the MacBook? No DL problem with iBook G4.

No idea if Apple knows about your issue. For OS X Mountain Lion, i believe 10.8.5 is the last OS update we'll see.
