Systemd service for synergys not working

Hi,
I've set up a synergys@user service file as specified in the wiki:

This works fine when the script is started manually but fails during boot
with exactly the error message the service file is supposed to work around:
Synergy 1.4.15: 2014-01-31T21:49:55 WARNING: primary screen unavailable: unable to open screen
I've tried adding "xorg.target" to "After" but that didn't help.
Any ideas?

systemd --user is getting there, but not ready for prime time yet. I have heard that SailfishOS actually uses full systemd --user, though I'm not sure what hoops had to be jumped through to make it so. It should come around soon though, as there has been some work on it of late I think.
A bit off topic, but this excites me. I also read that SailfishOS runs on btrfs. So when you restore the phone/tablet back to stock (factory reset) it simply deletes the in-use subvolume and replaces it with a read-only snapshot of the original. Oooh nice...

Services for Object Not Working in Portal

Hi Experts!!
We have created an iView for PR01 standard t-code. Now when we are testing it, we found that the button for Services for Object is being displayed on the page. But when trying to Create Attachment, it's not going further. Instead it's showing some message as 'Please wait. You will be forwarded automatically.This page had to be included for technical reasons.'
But nothing is happening later. It should provide me to enter the file path.
Can anybody suggest how I can get that? Your help is highly appreciable.

I had a similar problem using a different Javascript menu. If you take a look at the HTML generated by the portal and break it down into smaller sections you may find the HTML that is causing your Javascript not to load. It's a tedious task, but not all Javascript is the same. Note, if your javascript is using or manipulating the <div> tag. It must be relative positioned to an image or div or you may run into the problem of the javscript loading and displaying relative to the browser as opposed to your portlets.

Logging for AS not working

In sm21, I cannot see any logs from the AS. I can only see the ones from CI.

I think that the card reader may in fact be defective, but it just doesn't make sense if I have already used it fine before. I've tried everything on this Apple support page, thank you though.

Skype 6.3 upgrade for Mac not working

BE WARNED - just because you are being asked to upgrade your Skype, it does not mean it will work on your machine. I am a fairly regular user of Skype and this morning was unable to log-in, being told that I needed to upgrade. I did so to 6.3.0.602 but I was unable to log-in once the software had downloaded. After some research on the forums and finally a text chat with Support, I was told that Skype 6.3.0.602 requires a Mac OSX of 10.9 or above - I have 10.5.8
"So what can I do", I asked the tech support. The answer is nothing (unless I get new OS X software) - there is no Skype software programme that supports my operating system and no timeframe for when it might be available.
Huh? That's right. It's just not available. So for now, users with less than OS X 10.9 will be unable to use Skype when they are instructed to upgrade. It really doesn't make sense. But just so you know....

Please look at the top of the community page, and you will find a box "Search:". Write your problem here "Upgrade not working" and see what crops up. Here you will read that the latest versions of Skype will not work on some of the versions of MacOS, and that PPC requires one version, Leopard another, Snow leopard another, Mountain Lion another. They are indoctrinated with a stamp in their forehead to enforce their congregation of true believers to install the latest with all "security fixes" or death is looming. They are not used to software that is 2 years old.
So, with Mac, we have different operating systems and different sets of libraries - and things may go belly up if you upgrade - a OS feature is done differently, a libary has been placed inside the OS, and is no longer needed - and if you try to use it, you will be trapped.
Install the latest version that works for your Mac, and make sure to freeze this. Update the "info.plist" file and tell Skype that you use their latest should they pry. As long as it works, do not change anything!
And make the change to stop Skype from checking every time you start.

Blackberry email: I've forgotten my username and password for blackberry internet services/ it's not working?

I just got a replacement phone, and now when I try to set up my email again, it comes up with ''Existing users'' sign in blah blah. There aren't any other options. Either it's not working or I've completely forgotten my user name and/or password.
Either way, I can't set up my email, and I've spent over an hour on the phone to Orange (to no avail), ending in them telling me to call them again later or tomorrow. Has anyone experienced this problem before and/or know what to do?

Can you go to http://www.blackberry.orange.co.uk/, choose forgot password and follow the prompts? I'm shocked the carrier could not reset this for you!

[Solved] Systemd in user mode not working properly

Hello.
I wrote this Systemd service that I would like to run as normal user.

Description=Google Drive mount
After=network-online.target
Wants=network-online.target
[Service]
ExecStart=/usr/bin/google-drive-ocamlfuse -m '/home/egidio/Google Drive'
ExecStop=/usr/bin/fusermount -u '/home/egidio/Google Drive'
[Install]
WantedBy=default.target
I start it and everything seems fine, but when I try to access the mounted point, I get this error.
[egidio@egidiolaptop user]$ ls -la ~/Google\ Drive
ls: cannot access /home/egidio/Google Drive: Transport endpoint is not connected
If I run the ExecStart command manually everything works perfectly.
Can you please help me?

How to make a systemd service for a bash script with pipes?

I haven't been able to make a successful systemd service from this script.
The script itself works (in terminal and xdg autostart), but systemd doesn't run anything after the first pipe (neither sed nor spd-say execute).
Here's my service:

Description=Speak kernel and userspace messages
[Service]
Type=simple
ExecStart=/usr/local/sbin/dmesg-speak
[Install]
WantedBy=multi-user.target
Systemd says the script starts successfully, but only dmesg is started; it's output is not piped through sed or spd-say.
I've also tried Type=forking without much success.
Is there something I can do other than switching to sysv-init?
Do I need IgnoreSIGPIPE=false?

Yeah, that should probably be there. Since last post I've employed /usr/bin/bash in the service and added a hasbang, but sdp-say still does not run as a systemd service.

If espeak were configured to play audio for root to ALSA, there would be a sound outlet for it (espeak can be used in pipeline mode without speech-dispatcher if need be), and pulseaudio would be probably be OK with that whenever it got around to starting (audio passed through alsa gets piped through, regardless of its source right?).
I have tried the script with espeak instead of spd-say without success.

Binding gateway service with List not working properly with expand

Hi all,
We have an orderlist with details, we use the splitapp for it, it's working nicely with a gatewayservice. We have now added with expand 2 orderpartners. I see the 2 partners, only is it completly the same data. I checked the oData structure and I see indeed that the 2 partners are the same. This is weird, because when I execute the service, via my browser, I see 2 different partners.
If I execute the service directly via the read function, I see in the oData that I also have 2 different partners. So my conclusion is that the direct read of the service is working and executing the service via the sap.m.List is not working with the expand.
Now my question is, does somebody know what's going wrong here, or is it a bug in the sap.m.List? Below you find code snippets how I call the service.
This call is working:

Fine. If you're trying to bind any attributes of OrderPartners, bind it as OrderPartners/attribute-name. Say if "BegTstmp" an attribute of OrderPartners bind it as OrderPartners/BegTstmp.
