Systemic error with times and dates across all. please help

So, having recently made the switch to the world of Apple, I am starting to get my teeth into things - however, struggeling on a couple of fronts. The first and most frustrating for me at the moment is the fact that the time on my messaging and calanders would all appear to be the same.
When I send and receive messages on skype - they all apear with the same time on them.
When I open my ical (tried to sync calendars with my ipad2 myself - and initially felt very please with myself) only to find that ALL events had sat as the time...throughout the entire day, and within the event box, the time (the same time as that which appears in skype) appears inside and at the begining of every entry.
I have tried to change the date and time settings - the clock at the top right of my screen is correct and changes as the hours go by......but still no change in the skpye messaging or in ical.....so frustrating - I use skype as a business tool and at present I am not able to copy and paste peoples messages into anythign else as the time is incorrect.
Please help

HA! I figured the find my iphone out!!!!! You can have more than one icloud account in "Mail, Contacts and Calendars". So my husband's & kids' phone icloud account under "settings, icloud "is their individual @me.com account. Set it to everything you want EXCEPT Find My Iphone. Then under "settings, mail/contacts/calendars" you set up both accounts (your @me.com which may already be there), then add another with the main appleID and enable ONLY Find My Iphone. Now when any of us log into Find My Iphone from any device with our main apple ID for the app store, all the devices show up!!!! YIPPEE. I made my own day!
I think the message I got previously was because I hadn't disabled the find my iphone on the @me.com account first.

Internet viewed and what?
I just have an issue with someone using my phone - I used to track this through double clicking the home button and roughly knowing in what order I had been on things but they have sussed this one!

No way to do that on a non-jailbroken iPhone. Why don't you just passcode protect your phone? That way no one but you can use it...unless they know your passcode.

My iphone 3gs has started showing the wrong time and date. All was fine until this afternoon when it changed. My apps have the right time and date. However the world clock is wrong. I have to turn off the automatic time setting to get the right time.

All was well until sometime this afternoon when it changed... to Nov 5 (2 days prior to today), and about 9 hours and some minutes before the actual time. The world clock for my time zone shows the same wrong date and time. My calender shows the same wrong date and time. The phone can not find my time zone any more. The only fix I found was to turn off the automatic setting for time. What is happening? Ideas?

just sorted mine went to
settings-mail,contacts,calender-timezone support
then turned it off then on tapped time zone and typed london

I have a couple of troubleshooting suggestions for you regarding this issue. First, I would suggest that you reinstall iTunes, according to the instructions in this article:

To reinstall iTunes, download it from the Apple Downloads website.

However, since your carrier is the one that bills you, the only stats that matter are your carrier's. Some carrier's offer apps that provide this info, see if yours does.

Open iTunes on computer. Connect iPhone to computer. If the iPhone is recognized in Recovery Mode, then Restore the Firmware. If not recognized, then hold both Home and Power Buttons until the iPhone is recognized in Recovery Mode. Usually takes about 20 seconds of holding both buttons. Restore the iPhone Firmware.

Screensaver that interacts with time and date

Hi all
I have been asked to create a screensaver that will show a different movie/message all week, then at the end of the week I would need to have it revert back and do the same all over.
All 7 movies (one for each day of the week) will be located inside the SWF file, I just need to know if it's possible for the movies to change over with the computers time and date.

I do apologize for my lack of scripting chops, I'm more on the designing side so I panic a little when it comes to this kind of stuff. But would I be on the right track If I began with the following script? I have got the document set up with each days movieclip on its own keyframe (7 in total) but it's just activating that keyframe on the given day that I'm finding difficult to work out. I assume it's a condition followed by a gotoAndPlay command?

Convert DV-AVI file from the sony camcorder into MPEG2 with time and date

I want to capture or convert a raw DV-AVI file from the sony camcorder into MPEG2 format...this i want frame by frame conversion and i also want the metadata i.e. time and date to be captured at the same time when the conversion is done....so i want to know that which is the JAVA tool available for that ?

But my personal favorite idea is to just re-export the file from a PC in a better supported codec
(BTW If you don't have access to a PC then you can easily install Bootcamp on your Mac .... you can even download a free prerelease copy of Windows 7 to install on the Bootcamp partition if you're quick)

I am using the SQL SERVER 2008R2 standard edition so please be mindful when posting any suggestion if that will work on this edition or not.
Here is the situation: I have Cube with one fact table "Positions". Measure I am querying is "AUM" and Dimensions across user can query are combinations of {"Portfolio", "Security" and "Time"}.
I am receiving the "AUM" values at "portfolio+Security+Time" level. AUM is actually the Portfolio level value. so sample data I receive would like this.
PORTFOLIO SECURITY TME AUM
A SEC1 JAN-1 100
A SEC2 JAN-1 100
B SEC1 JAN-1 200
B SEC3 JAN-1 200
A SEC1 JAN-2 300
A SEC2 JAN-2 300
B SEC1 JAN-2 400
B SEC3 JAN-2 400
So, as shown in above example , we received same "AUM" value for a given portfolio and time. (regardless of what security value is).
And as AUM is the snapshot values, we can not sum across time as well, so if user is looking across time we need to pick Last values.
Now when user wants to view this data from cube, two different ways s/he wants to look at it.
option one: AUM at port+sec+time level. that is same as shown above in example.
option two: AUM at portfolio level only, (notice that this is across time so results are picking values for time=JAN-2)

I have applied the "LastChild" aggregation property to measure to achieve "Do no Sum across Time "behavior. but with this I also get "SUM Across Except time" and hence my AUM values get summed across Portfolio and security as
well. I have also enable Time Intelligence to enable MTD, YTD calculations.
I tried to add SCOPE statement for Security before and after the "time calculations" yet I am not able to achieve expected behavior.
here is the calculated member definition, and scope statement i have tried.

I tried placing the following SCOPE for AUM before and after the Time calculations but it no difference in result, in fact it seems like it has no affect of scope at all due to the "LastChild" aggregate property applied on measure.

so options I am thinking of but do not have clear idea how to implement those are:
0) why my Security Scope Statement are not showing any effect, and can we do something about it?
1) Can be change "SUM" behavior to "MAX" / "MIN" across all Dimension except time.
2) Is there a way to implement "LastChild" across all dimension instead only across Time.
3) Should I need to make any changes at Fact table level to achieve this ? I refer one Q&A in this forum that suggested to create such measure in different measure group but it doesn't have any clarification.
Any help would be appreciated.

you will have to enable cache in your nqsconfig.ini file under the section

cache seeding is also a mechanism through which the data would be updated in the cache.

My laptop does not detect my ipod mini (2nd gen 1 gb), when i connect it the orange light flashe 2 or 3 times then nothing happens. if ever that it will be detected by my laptop and when i sync music on it there will be an error and itunes will suggest to restore it to its factory setting and if i choose to restore it error 3194 happens. so my top priority of course is for it to be detected then fix the latter. please help any will be much appreciated

This is an Answer for a Possible Solution. It worked for me and is still working. The issue I was having with my 64 bit vista, was Apple Mobile Device Service was not being installed, I dont know why. But I disabled any active running program through MSCONFIG, to allow a clean uninterrupted install of ITUNES 8.02. This allowed AMDS and drives from ITUNES to install. Hope this works for most of you.
APPLE, please review your Support Methods. Re-installing doesnt help an issue that resulted from installing.

If you experience this issue on a Mac, disconnect third-party devices, hubs, spare cables, displays, reset the SMC, and then try to restore. If you are using a Windows computer, remove all USB devices and spare cables other than your keyboard, mouse, and the device, restart the computer, and try to restore. If that does not resolve the issue, try the USB issue-resolution steps and articles listed for Error 1604 above. If the issue persists, it may be related to conflicting security software. If the errors persist on another computer and known-good USB cable, the device may need service.

I have find a Zen Micro 5 gb with firmware 2.2 ; but i have more and more truble with it !!
