SystemString(ContinueNextPageNotice) is printing on all pages on PLD

Hi,
On version 2007 SP01 PL08 HF03, the SystemString(ContinueNextPageNotice) on PLD is printing in all pages.
Does anyone know if this bug is already reported?

Problem:
Heading included in Main body printing only on first page even though, PROPERTY, PRINT_OBJECTS_ON for all objects are set to:
ALL PAGES.
Solution: Select the parent frame of the objects that are printing on all pages and drag it down to include the frame that encloses the Heading information that is currently not printing.

SapsScript Header is printed on all pages after change

I have made some changes to a sapscript. I added some output data to the header and expanded the lines by 3 LN. Now when I print the header is printed on all pages, but I only want it to be printed on the first... Any idea what could have done this?

Hi,
The problem occurred because you have changed the variable window and what ever is mentioned in the variable window gets triggered when a new page gets triggered.
So.....
Change the Header lines what you have added, to main window from the variable window.
This will definitely solve the problem.

Page nos not printing on all pages

I've a prob...The page no is printed only in the first or first few pages of a multi page report developed in discoverer and viewed using 3i viewer...can anyone pls tell me if that is the prob in code or is there any setting which i can change... What wud b the staus if i try to view the same report using 4i viewer instead of 3i?
Also can anyone pls tell me if there are any significant changes in 4i viewere over 3i?

Step 1: Select the parent frame of the summary column.
Step 2: Open properties of that frame
Step 3: Set the property "Print Object On" to "All Pages" value.
(Default value for this property is "Last Page"

Printing in all Pages

Hello,
I am working in a BI publisher report. It contains a table and the table header should be printed in all the pages. I cannot use header area in word for this. Is there any other way to accomplish this.

You can use the word properties of "Repeat as header at each page" . If the header is in a table.

Printer issue: All pages after first one come out horribly wrong.

Install: Arch64
Printer: Canon MP520
Connection: USB
Programs printed from: All
Driver: AUR mp520 packages
Problem start: recent... last couple of days
Description: printer was working fine until I decided to print something a few days ago. I was printing a resume and all the pages after the first (only 3 pages long) came out as if the data got corrupted during it's send to the printer... the first 10th of the page was repeated all the way down the page with large black squares in various places (patterned like the actual part of the page that was printed repeatedly down the sheet)... I have tested this and proven it is the second and all following pages in an individual print (if I print all 3 pages of this resume one at a time, back to back, they all print out in consecutive order with no errors... and I can put in the jobs so that they overlap and it "looks" like a single job).
If anyone is willing to help, ask any and every question necessary to get this figured out, cause it's bugging me like nothing else... it's a hassle to print each page individually (has the same effect when printing PDFs from epdfview as well as prints from within GIMP) and I'd like to have my printer back to normal. Restarting the printer has not worked. The only thing I can think that I haven't tried is restarting the desktop, but I have a VERY long data download (2 days in) that I'd sincerely hate to have to start over for this error, as it's more than halfway done at this point... so I'm saving that as a last resort to be tried after my download completes... if anyone can come up with some things to try while the comp stays up & online, that would be great... below is a list of things I've tried.
Things I've tried:
* restarting cups
* restarting hal
* restarting printer
* physically removing and reconnecting printer
all other suggestions are welcome.
EDIT: almost forgot, cups.error is 0kb in size and completely empty, so no output to work with on that level, telling me the error may possibly be in the printer itself, but I'm not sure.

interesting development... printing business cards with GIMP with Gutenprint and consecutive prints come out just fine (just did a set of 30)... how does this affect the problem that we are having with these printers? Can people with other printers that have this same issue (canon as well as others) do a few tests with Gimp+Gutenprint to see if they experience different results (pretty sure 2 consecutive prints should be enough. I'm guessing Gutenprint is a separate printing "engine" (I know, probably a bad term to use, but it's what came to mind) so I'm wondering what could be done as far as being able to use Gutenprint in other programs or what other possible solutions this info may present.
Disclaimer: I'm probably showing my noob with this statement, cause I don't really know the details when it comes to printing in linux, but I'm still noting my experience nonetheless... and if I look a little "dumber" because of that, so be it! Gotta learn somehow...

Thanks for the additional info. Lets try downloading and running the Print and Scan doctor located here. It can fix a lot on its own but if not it will give us a better idea of what is going on. The weak signal is not likely the culprit (as it has been working for a good while) but we can try altering that if other steps fail.

Crystal Reports 2008 Page Header needed on all pages.

I have Crystal Reports 2008.
In my report I need the Page Header and Page Footer to appear on all pages.
When I have over 50 detail records/lines the Page Header appears on only odd pages, the Page Footer is OK on all pages.
How do I change the Page Header to print on all pages in CR 2008?

Thanks what work was creating a Page Header b and moving all header info there.
This report has 4 levels of groupings and I am finding that group effects a lot.

PrinterJob only print first 2 pages of JTable

I have a JTable in which rows have different height. I also have a class which implements Printable interface. In this class I put the JTable in a JFrame and create my own print() method. The problem is when I call
PrinterJob.print() to print the JTable only the first two pages were printed out; on the other pages I only got title name without contents. If I show the JTable before printing it by calling JFrame.setVisible(true) in the Printable class then I can print out all pages. How do I fix this problem?

Changing the starting line when printing on new page.

I am using Reports 6i. I have a report with a master/detail ralationship. The columns from the master query prints once only at the beginning of the report followed by numerous detail lines. However, should the detail lines continue printing onto a new page .... I would like to specify a particular position to start the print.eg 5 or perhaps 7 line from the top. Can this be done in reports 6i. Thanx in advance!

Reports allows you to position the objects anywhere you want on the page. The only reason that objects move up the page is because they are anchored to objects above them. When those objects don't print, the objects that come after move up.
You can create an object that prints on all pages but has no line and no fill color. This can then be used to reduce the amount the master frame can shrink by. (Make sure it prints on all pages. You might need to create seperate frames to surround the fields you want to see and the transparent field - then another to surround them both).
If you know the position that you want the details to print then you can position the detail objects in the appropriate location and change the properties against the frame that surrounds he detail section as follows:
"Base Printing On" to "Enclosing Object"
"Print Object On" to "All Pages"
Alternatively, create an explicit anchor between the frame and the top of the report.
Finally, if you want to parameterise the position of the detail records, you need to create field that dynamically re-sizes to push everything below it down by the required amount.
- create a field object that is at the same level as the master objects
- set the "print object on" propert to "All but First Page"
- set the source of the field to something like "desformat".
- then use the srw.set_field_char(0, "<some text with a number of returns>"); in the format trigger
This allows you to push everything below the field down by any desired amount.

I have a Canon Pixima MP530, ALL Pages Come out Blank, ink tanks are full!

I have a Canon Pixima MP530, all ink tanks are full, printer goes through the motions of printing but all pages come out blank. I am using windows 7. all functions seem to work, except no ink comes out it was working perfectly 2 nights ago. I called canon tech support but they have no idea whats going on with it. am thinking maybe the print head is shot? Any suggestions are welcomed, I LOVE this printer and need it to work.

with that kind of issue it could be the print head oooor it could be the part of the printer that suctions ink into the print head, it's hard to tell. You could take it to a service facility, but it would probably cost you more to repair it to replace it.

Then duplicate that button to pages 3-23.
To do that effectively go to Form Edit mode, right-click the button and select Duplicate Across Pages.

for Ex:
Report ztest line-count 8(3).
start-of selection.
loop at itab...
write:/ .........
endloop.
end-of-page.
write:/ "end of page'.
revert back if any issues.
