Looking at the file in the finder shows a blank icon. Won't open with "Property List Editor"
File error found when verifying preferences with Drive Genius 3.
Any ideas anyone?

Mea Culpa! Big Mistake . Sorry. I just went through my Time Machine history. The versions of iphoto were as follows:
Computer 1: Dec 25th     v 9.1.1
                    May 1           v9.1.2
                    May 12         v9.1.3 This is the version I had to update my second computer to.
The 4th Feb iphotos update was a receipt for something for an ipad....not iMac!
Anyway the good news is it's all fixed. I ran the iphotosmosaic programme. Verified Permissions, verified disk and Fixed disk and all now seems to be OK

Until yesterday, I was using Garmin ConnectIQ SDK and all was working fine.

I guess it is a normal format but my system seems to be unable to read binary plist ?
I tried some stuff with plutil
plutil -lint Info.plist
Info.plist: Unexpected character b at line 1
Same for convert
plutil -convert xml1 Info.plist
Info.plist: Property List error: Unexpected character b at line 1 / JSON error: JSON text did not start with array or object and option to allow fragments not set.
I also try to download a fresh version of the connectIQ SDK and no changes.
Any idea ?

Please describe the functional problem, if you have one, in as much relevant detail as possible. The "etrecheck" fad hasn't made that step any less necessary. The usual results of posting etrecheck output on this site without a full description of the problem are very poor.
The many "failed" or "killed" warnings that etrecheck sometimes spews are not a reason to reinstall the OS.
The better your description of the problem, the better the chance of a solution.

I am trying to startup my Managed server using Windows x86-64bit, weblogic 10.3.4.
when trying to start up my WLS_FORMS it fails and goes to admin mode.

Character mode report cuts off last character on a line

Reports 9i, Windows 2003 Server. Printing character mode reports to IBM 6400 printer. I have a variable text column (multi line) and randomly the last character on a line gets cutoff. I'm using Courier 10 as my font. It is only 1 character that ever cuts cutoff. Any ideas? I'm desperate.

and go to edit margin in layout.
see the layout and move to left if it has lot of gap in left side.
we can get correct output if the right side border is upto 8.2.

This should NOT cause any issues while running the application.
But to resolve this,
Goto 'Tools' > 'Preferences', and in 'CSS Editor', check 'ADF Faces Extension'
Look into the screenshot for the same:

Once this is done, close the CSS file and re-open, the error would go off.

In xml I can see only one place with that string: <gwt:owner>username.mypostoffice.mydomain@company. com</gwt:owner>
Any suggestion what to do with this problem?

The owner element changed format. You have to have a consistent
jar file with later POA's.If you have an 8.0.x POA, you need
to recompile the GWWS jar file. (You can't use the original.)

Display file except 1st character of each line

I'm looking to display the contents of a file, ignoring the 1st character of each line.
Can anyone point me in the right direction, please?

Fieldpoint write.vi error - 33816 (Unexpected character received from Optomux response)

Hi, I have been running a program for a few months now and yesterday I got an error at the fieldpoint write.vi error - 33816 (Unexpected character received from Optomux response). The program will run fine for approx. 5 minutes and then the error occurs, if I click continue the program will run fine again for another 5-10 minutes before occuring again. The field point module that is being affected is a digital output which is controlling a relay connected to a heating element. When the error occurs it freezes the program and if the relay happens to be on it can cause a potentially dangerous over temperature event. Luckily I happened to be in the room when it first occured but the program is supposed to rund 24-7. I tried taking off automatic error handling but that caused the program to run incorrectly.
What is causing this error ?? Why did it just materialize ? How can prevent it from happening again ?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated !

I believe Optomux was used for the serial connection scheme (please correct me if I'm wrong) so we are looking for something that could corruprt the serial comm.
Quick Test:
Try disconnecting the relay and run the program without the heater and external circuitry to rule out glitches etc.

During the installation of SAP Solution Manager 4.0 Support Release 3 I am installing a local SLD (this is a test environment). Word 2007 shrinking tabs to squeeze extra character on a line. How to disable this function?

Hello,
After six hours of my futile amateur attempts, it's clear I need a pro.
Occasionally in Word 2007, the text I type will be near the maximum the line can hold, and when I type the next character Word will try to squeeze it onto the line by shrinking my left tab. This results in uneven paragraph indents, which looks very sloppy.
If anyone knows a way to make Word just start a new line when the maximum line length is reached, and turn off this "smash the tabs to make it fit" function, I would be very, very grateful for that information.
For reference, if you copy the following four lines into Word 2007, in Courier New, 12 pt, with default tab stops of 0.4", you will see that the second and fourth lines have this shrunken tab problem.

It appears that OneDrive does not show this problem unless you select "edit document" then "edit in word". I have Word 07, and in there it causes the sloppy-looking, different indent sizes I am trying to fix.

Adding a character with no lines

A script I'm working on contains a character that has no dialogue. I can't seem to be able to add this character into the character database of the script without having lines. I have them in the action lines, but unless I capitalize the entire name every time, it doesn't recognize them in the scene.
Is there a way of doing this that I'm overlooking?
Also, how can I change the color of the coded dots for each character?
