T-code deletion urgent.. for security purpose

I hav deleted the t-code in role but still it is showing in executable transactions.. how to remove tht transaction completely pls help our version is MySAP ERP ECC 6

I did not get your question where you deleted the T-code
if you are deleted fro the role , then you need to regenerate the authorizations for that role again.
and again perform the user comparison so that the change will effect.

On a new computer is it better to set the admin account to other than myself for security purposes? I am sure that I read some years ago that this was the best route to go down. What I am suggesting is that I will still administer the account but not as myself the user in my own name and also will it have any ramifications further down the line.
Will be using a new Macbook Pro running Lion (when it arrives)

when you get a new mac and set up an account, that account is designated as the admin account automatically. Creating a second user account without admin privileges is fine to do, if you are afraid that you might accidentally do something harmful that requires admin access. Make sure it is a second user account and not a guest account, as with a guest account, everything during a session under a guest account gets deleted after the session ends.

Password changed for security purposes

Hello,
My password has been changed for security purposes...however the email address that is linked to my account has been deleted (college account). They only way i can access my new changed password is for it being sent through email. How can i change the email address if i cant get into my account to change it? Make sense?

TS2446 Apple ID locked for security purposes

Hi, my Apple ID said "locked for security reasons" so I went to the iforgot site and reset it. I went to sign in again and it STILL says "Locked for security purposes" any idea what I should do?

PIN code and FAC for billing purpose

hi all,
We are configuring call manager (CUCM) version 8.6 so, at this point we are facing some issues on the functionalities:
A user has to be having a pin code associated to his phone then an authorization code that allow him to call OFFNET calls,
Now the user must have one code for private phone calls and one code for official calls for billing purpose
This user has to be able to change his pin code himself, but so long as it is associated to his phone they will still know that
His the one who made the call. In fact event the admin is not supposed to know these.
Can anyone please give me any idea on how to go on this. because CMC and FAC do not meet these requirement

Can Photoshop Elements 13 and Premier Elements 13 be installed/configured/patched standalone for security purposes (not linked to cloud, mobile, Microsoft, Adobe, etc)?

How to block opening a file for security purposes

There is a chance my MacBook may need repairs for case issues. I have some personal information on my computer that I want to protect from prying eyes.

You could create a disk image and encrypt it with a password. Move the files into that and delete the originals. On return, copy them back from the disk image to their original locations.
To create a disk image:
Open Disk Utility.
Select New Image
Give it a name, select a size and choose Enrcryption
Click Create
Enter a chosen password twice (make it different to your normal one)
The newly created disk image will appear mounted on the Desktop, if that is the location you chose for it.
Move your sensitive files into it.
Unmount it (eject it)
Test it by double clicking on it, supply your password.
Once opened (mounted), check your files are in there and work correctly.
Again eject it. It can remain on your computer as it can't be opened except by you.
Delete the original files.

I have an application I'm submitting to our school website for potential students to fill out. There are sections for the student(s) to fill out as well as sections for staff to fill out. For the sake of security for the student filling out the form, I'd like to set it up so that once the student has filled out the proper sections and submits the information, any information filled out and signed by the student is locked from editing on my part. I only need to read what the student filled out and signed, then add my notes to Staff sections. Is this possible? If so, how? I need details!

You can create a script that will lock the fields before signing. But when you edit the document after the student signs, the signature will no longer be valid and the document will show that it has been changed after signing. Adobe restricts the number of files you can collect information on with forms that can be saved and emailed. The restriction used to be 500 files unless you purchased the appropriate LiveCycle product to enable the pdf files for saving.
Why in the world are you requiring potential students to sign forms. Many students will not know how to sign pdf files. Just have a button that will submit the information to a website for you to extract or to send you the information in an FDF file and import the information form. You can have a button that will lock the fields they fill out. This will ensure you do not have to worry about the 500 file limit.

I agree with Erland. (Always a good idea.) Changing the port doesn't help much to prevent attacks. If you decide to do that see Configure a Server to Listen on a Specific TCP Port (SQL Server Configuration Manager)

How to Hotsync User Information to a different drive (not drive c:) for security purposes

1. during installation in Vista using Palm Desktop 6.2, we can choose the directory path for the user account - I do not wish to use the default c:\Documents\User. I choose another separate drive.
It was possible during installation to choose where to save our user path. My first Hotsync saved my info on a separate drive.
2. However, on subsequents Hotsync, the Palm program cannot recognise my path I choose to Hotsync my info to i.e. the separate drive.

Older versions of Palm Desktop, 4.2 and earlier, only allowed you to install on drive c:\. Palm Desktop 6.2 was developed by a different company, ACCESS.
Have you tried moving your HotSync profile folder to a new folder on drive c:\ that you have read/write access to? I'm wondering if this is an issue with a new path being used or a problem with the profile folder just not being on drive c:\ and the Palm Desktop or HotSync Manager application is expecting it to be on c:\.

Please perform the following to lock the client:
1. Go to SM37.
2. Enter the module name SCCR_LOCK_CLIENT
3. Enter the client number you want to lock.
4. Execute (F8).
Note: Locked clients are only accessible to DDIC and SAP* users, while other users can't login to that client. Furthermore, if you want to unlock the client use SCCR_UNLOCK_CLIENT in the same way as above.

Clean wipe of HD for security purposes

I just got a new MB and plan to give my 6 yr old iBook to my brother in law, living in Taiwan and who will eventually install chinese language OS. For now, I'd like to wipe clean the HD - after six yrs, I've got tons of financial stuff, passwords, etc. stored.
Will erasing HD with disk utility be enough? I understand data can still be retrieved. What's the best way, short of installing new HD to format and x things out?

Here's what you should do:
Extended Hard Drive Preparation
1. Boot from your OS X Installer Disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Installer menu (Utilities menu for Tiger or Leopard.)
2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area. If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing. SMART info will not be reported on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one (1.) Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID for Intel Macs or APM for PPC Macs, then click on the OK button. Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Select the volume you just created (this is the sub-entry under the drive entry) from the left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
5. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, check the button for Zero Data and click on OK to return to the Erase window.
6. Click on the Erase button. The format process can take up to several hours depending upon the drive size.
Zeroing the data will effectively remove everything on the drive assuring that no data can be recovered. After formatting has completed quit DU and return to installer. Now complete the OS X installation. At the end of the installation you will have a Restart button. Do not click on it, but instead just eject the installer disc then shut down the machine. When your brother-in-law starts the computer it will boot to the Setup Assistant where he can set up his own admin account and user information as if the computer were new.

Sometimes when I just closed Firefox for security purposes and when I try to open new browser, "it states, Firefox is still running and you must close it first" That is not so, Why is this?

This happens quite often. I "x" out the browser when I am at a banking site, etc and when I try to re-open Firefox the message clearly states: "Firefox is already running and you must close it before you can open a browser and/or you must re-start your system." This error surely must appear on others attempting the same thing.

Can't activate iPhone because Apple ID is locked 'for security reasons', can't reset Apple ID because need iPhone to receive two-step activate code!

So here's an interesting one...
I have just updated iOS on my iPhone and it came up with the activation prompt. I entered my iCloud email and password and it told me that my account was disabled for security purposes.
This happens quite regularly as my iCloud account and I constantly get the account locked out as other people mistake it for their account.
The procedure to unlock my account is to visit iforgot.apple.com and select the 'Reset your password' option, enter my iCloud email address, two-step recovery key and then nominate my iPhone to receive a two-step authentication code.
The problem is my phone won't receive the authentication code because it needs activation! My iPad is also listed but also won't receive the authentication code, I expect because my Apple ID is disabled!
Having read the support article regarding what to do when you can't receive the two-step authentication code it says login to your apple id account and manage the list of devices! You what!? I can't login because my account is disabled.
It seems there is a complete design flaw here in that I can't activate my phone without unlocking my Apple ID and I can't unlock my Apple ID without activating my iPhone first!
I've spoken to Apple in the past about this and their response was to login and manage my devices and I pointed out that I could not login in because my account is disabled. They then basically said there is nothing I can do! Really? They won't unlock my Apple ID because they don't have the ability to do so.
If I'm not mistaken my iPhone is no longer fit for propose and if I can't sort this I will be visiting the Apple store and asking for a replacement as basically my device is bricked. I guess I will have to create a new Apple ID and will no longer be able to get to my email on the old account!?
Any folks on here has similar issues or any suggestions?

I have something similar going on, but not exact. I basically have a useless phone here because I restored the phone but supposedly when my son's father redid the phone years ago for our son he added the phone to HIS apple id (on find my phoen supposedly) which he no longer has nor uses. I need said apple id and pass to finish restoring the phone. Maybe we should all get together and pile all our bricks in front of apple headquarters so no one can get out of the building and they have to stay there until they fix this. :-P
