Scrap Movement type + reason code - different GL account ( OBYC)

Hi Experts -
I have an issue in hand which explains as below ...
User wants to post Scrap movement of different reason to post to different GL account with T.Code OBYC. SAP has a movement type 561 for Scrap related account determination. In the standard SAP situation, we can post to ONLY ONE GL account for Scrap using 561 movement type. But my situation is like this - A material can be scrapped due to different reason (reason code) and based on the reason (I use reason code A - E), I want to post it to different GL account.
In standard SAP , we can define the account determination (OBYC) for scrap with ONLY ONE GL account as follows ...
Val. modifier - Plant 1
Val Class - 1111
General/Account Modifier - VNG (mapped to 561)
GL Account - Z123456
But my scenario is like this ....
561 + reason code A should post to Z123456
561 + reason code B should post to Z999999
561 + reason code C should post to Z111111
I was thinking for creating new General modifiers for different codes (A - E). Please suggest me if that solution is feasible else provide me an efficient solution.

Defining new general modifiers is an option.
Alternatively you can look at defining a new substitution rule. The substitution rule will only hold good if the GL Account for scrap is not used anywhere else. (This should ideally be the case if it a scrap account).
In the substitution rules you can check for the particular scrap account number and then depending on your reason code, you can change the GL account before it is posted to.

Open items clearing having a currency code different from company code

hi experts, I have a problem with regard to clearing of open items having a different currecny codes other than the company code currency.
ex, we have an open item in the currecny INR
company code currency SGD
I want to clear the open item through F110 from the bank account having USD as the account currency.

Same code; different response

I am using an extremely simple script that I've used at least
a half dozen times on different projects and it has always worked
before. Spent hours re-pasting code, trying variations and this
stupid thing won't work. There's an iTunes gift certificate for the
first person that helps me solve this insane dilemma. Here's the
code:

Main timeline rolls and encounters this script:

So in this case it should jump to frame label "m1"
but the code is just ignored.
As I mentioned, I have this working in about 6 different
projects and it always functions. I have copied and pasted the code
over and over, trying to find the bug. Completely lost.

I tried quickly adding
_root
to
_root.gotoAndPlay(label)
And it works fine! Amazing how I never needed that before and
all of the other files still function. Chalk it up to bugs in the
software I guess. Seen enough with this dodgy program over the
years!

Same code - different outcome

I've copied a code (AS3) from one FLA-file and pasted it into
an other FLA-file.
The reason for this was to not write the code all over again
(timesaving, huh?).
The code is used for loading a xml-file, extracting the data,
loading the url-paths in the xml-file and place the loaded contents
into thumbnails on the stage.
Although the thumbnails are a bit different from the FLA-file
where the code is copied from the path still remain.
The path for the loaded contents to be placed is 'contArray
.cont_'.
The thumbnail-names is 'th_0', 'th_1', etc. so the path is
like 'th_0.cont_', 'th_1.cont_', etc.
The code:

The background attached to the body tag like that without being absolute positioned will appear at the bottom of the content, not necessarily the page. The home page is too short for that to stick to the bottom. You should try adding the background into the html tag, instead of body and setting the height to 100%. This could solve it.

Same code, different positioning

Hello,
I am a fairly new person to web design. I was working on a project for my uncle, and for some reason with the same code I got different results on different browsers.
Here's what I mean:
1) Chrome
2) Mozilla
#1 "read more..." is positioned higher than #2 "read more..."
I used relative positioning on the parent ( banner ) and absolute positioning on the child ( text ). Does anyone know what could be the problem here? Thank you!

To add to what John said, are you sure this isn't just browser variation? You're never going to get pixel perfect precision across all browsers, web devices or even different versions of the same browsers. If you look hard enough you will invariably see some differences. That's what makes web development so challenging.
If things go terribly wrong, check your code for errors and fix them.

Same Sales Organization code - different company code

Is it possible to have the same sales organization code in 2 different company codes on the physical same server.
Example:
Server 200 and Server 210
I will create company code 112 and company code 113.
I will create sales org 10 on 112 and sales org 10 on 113.
Is that possible to have the same sales org code?

My fault you misunderstood me because my statement is misleading.
What I mean is this:
100 company code with 10 (Sales org for Colorado)
200 company code with 10 (Sales org for Michigan)
Both have sales org 10 but two different entity. These are all on the same PROD server.
I hope my explanation now is more clear.

Web Service stub code different in FB4 than in Flex Builder 3

We have an application that was initially developer in Flex Builder 3 and used the Import Web Service wizard to generate all the webservice stub code we needed. We then upgraded to using Flash Builder 4 and importing the wsdl using the Connect to Data/Service wizard writes different stub code than what we had in Flex Builder 3.
What happened and is there a way to have the Flash Builder 4 wsdl importer write the stub code the way the Flex Builder 3 importer did?

I figured out the RDS issue - check the web.xml file in the
WEB-INF folder of cfroot and webroot. I uncommented the
<servlet-name> and the <servlet-mapping> tags which
referenced RDS Servlet, restarted the server, and that took care of
the RDS issue.

Urgent: Same BPEL code, different servers, different results in deployment

Hi everybody,
I need some urgent assistance as I am nearing a Go-live deadline.
I have some BPEL code (10.1.3.3) which I attempt to deploy from JDeveloper (10.1.3.4).
When I deploy to development environment it deploys fine.
When I try to deploy to test environment I get the following error:
[Error ORABPEL-10902]: compilation failed
[Description]: in "bpel.xml", XML parsing failed because "undefined part element.
In WSDL at "file:/oradata/OracleAS_1/bpel/domains/outboundnoterepository/tmp/.bpel_RealWSDL_1.0_75ea24906b156b639e4531aa3ef007fb.tmp/nrwsdl/nr/RCMR_AR000002NR01.wsdl", message part element "{urn:hl7-org:v3}MCCI_IN002200NR01" is not defined in any of the schemas.
Please make sure the spelling of the element QName is correct and the WSDL import is complete.
This makes no sense to me. If there was a problem with the "{urn:hl7-org:v3}MCCI_IN002200NR01" element it should be the same whether I deploy to development or test environment.
The only thing I have changed is the endpoint of an invokation from the process - and I even tried not changing that to no avail.
Does anyone have any idea what is going on here?

when deploying your process? Or is it just a different behavior when deploying to different servers?
The first issue might arise from an import statement in the wsdl file having a location that could not be resolved on the BPEL server. Do you use imports and if so, are you using a URL or a local relative path?

Same SCC Code / Different SKUs

We have one SCC code with multiple sku's. From an automated production posting perspective with PLC scanners how do companies differentiate between different sku's?

Hi,
I have met following solutions:
1. adding additional barcode with SKU instead of SCC code
2. adding additional barcode connecting: SCC code plus SKU code in one barcode.
Of course, it needs some additional implementation/organisational work to change current settings.

Exception code different between 9 and 10

Hi all
i have a java application based on Oracle.Since now i have only 9i version of oracle and then i manage exception using 9i exception code definition, but now the same application run also on 10g so i get some problem to catch exception.For example value too large in 9 is 1401 and in 10g is 12899.Is there some relationship between the two different exception encoding?Or have i to catch both the code exception?is possible that some old code are a different exception in 10g?

so the only solution is

One stock code - different Sales codes (MATNR)

Hello!
We are in the process industry wherein we stock in huge containers liquids which are sold in different sales codes (material numbers) according to different pack sizes. Process orders coming from SOs are used to make the goods ready into the MATNRs to be sold.
How can we see the stock of the stored material automatically? When a SO comes, the sales person needs to confirm via ATP (MRP runs only nightly and is not a practical solution) - we may have stock of 10 tons and order may be of 10 kg (10*1 packing) but since there may not be any stock of the pack size 1, the ATP is incorrect. Again, there may not be any stock of the stored material either.
Is there any way to use ATP so we can confirm the delivery dates here? Obviously, since stock is there, we want to ship it ASAP but the material stock for the above reason shows as nil

As far as i could understand your process. - The company has a stock of kinda raw materials (LIQUIDS) in containers and based on the requirements these liquids are packed in small containers of fixed size and sold as finished products as it happens in a paint industry....
1. While doing an ATP against what recipts/stocks the promising is done, Is it done based on volume....
ex . An order comes for 10 1kg boxees , So ATP must check against a volume of 10 kg or is it like the ATP checks against 10 1 kg boxes which are there in the unrestricted stock....????
Please exemplify more on how the ATP is designed to behave.....

SQL LOADER : RETURN CODE differs from 8i to 10.1.0.5

Customer is using 8.1.7.1.0 and same SQL LOADER script returns RETURN CODE: 2
However the same script returns RETURN CODE: 0 when using 10.1.0.5

You haven't specified so far the circumstances under which a possible error message is shown. The fact that you launch the same script against two different oracle versions doesn't mean the script will find the same environment, some errors could have been generated at 8i, meanwhile at 10g it could have found a clean environment. Could you please also compare the generated log file for both executions?

Is restriction pass code different to iPad lock code

I just tried to get into restrictions but pass code is wrong..have changed main pass code recently..are they different..can't remember old code..how do I sort out please.?

They are different features with different codes. I recommend using the same code for both features so when you change one, change the other. If you can not remember the code you will have to Restore the iPad as a new iPad setting it up from scratch again. You can try Restoring to a back up although the back up will need to be from before the passcode was set otherwise it will just be set again with the backup.
If you search the net there are other methods of recovering some passwords from iPads although the above method is the easiest.

Vendor Company Code and PO Company Code Different

There is a central purch org for all comp code. Whenever we create a vendor we have to enter comp code, pur org and account grp. Suppose I create a vendor for Company Code "X" and another vendor for Company Code "Y". Pur Org will be same i.e. central pur org. Now I am creating a PO for Comp Code "X" but using vendor with Comp Code "Y". System is allowing me to create a PO in this way. I want the system should not allow me to create a PO in this way.
Even I have checked the message MEPO038, but I could not find this message
I am able to see the message ME038 is this the same.
Is it possible to advice me some user exits as well.

IF the vendor not created for that company code the system will throw error .this is the std functionality. In your case the vendor would have maintained for the both company code thats why it is allowing .

and see wether the view object created is retrieving rows or not in test.
if the view object is retrieving rows
plese try vo.setwhereclause instead of set whereclause paramremove., and also remove bind variable in VO
give the alias name in where claus like this
