i WANT TO SEE ALL CSOT CENTERS WHICH IS BLOCKED /AND UNBLOCKED PLEASE TELL ME THE T.CODE FOR THAT

Hi,
I understand that you want to check the cost center for the locks activated for various transactions. Go to transaction KS13 - give the cost center hierarchy for which you want to see the cost centers and execute.
The report will be displayed showing the locks for the various postings. This can be further controlled by changing the layout as desired.

Dear Friends
In my client place we have 6 plants are defined and profit centers are defined for each plant. Hence here each plant is one profit center. Cost centers are defined plant wise.
The requirement is when the goods issued to cost center system should check the cost center is defined against the plant. ( i.e., Cost center def against the Profit Center, and Profit center equal to Plant).
Is there any provision to assign the plant to profit center or vice versa?
Please guide me how to resolve the issue.

Hi, You do not use cost center for payment. You use profit center.

and
also check whether the company code is assigned to that particular cost center related controlling area.

Transferring the cost centers from ECC to Sourcing

Hello Experts
I have a requirement to synchronize cost centers between ECC and Sourcing systems . . The approach I am thinking is-
     Schedule a import job in sap sourcing which will be pointed to FTP and can import data.
     ECC will trigger the XML data from for any change / creation of cost centers .
     This data will come to FTP and from there this would be imported by Sourcing .
Can anyone let me know if there is any particular XML format for Cost centers for importing to Sourcing ?

Hi Sudipta,
If Cost Center data extracted from ECC is rendered in CSV format, then XML file may not be required for the import job.
The CSV file format should be available in the Enterprise/Company workbook.

Tax codes can be classified into two types, viz. Output Tax and Input Tax.
Output tax can be assigned to all sales related activities whereas, input tax can be assigned to all MM related activities.
To maintain these tax codes, go to FTXP and maintain tax codes for the combination of country and tax code.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Code for button located inside the MC

I decided to rearange my flash site and now things don't work.
I used to have an image collage where all the images were buttons and each image was located on the stage ( which made a stage with 10+ loose images)
I made each image a button. Below is a code example for one of the images named "icysophistication_app_btn". The previously working code for it was:

Code for button is affecting the entire movie

The following code is on the timeline and the button
instance, cancelMC, is also on the same timeline in a different
layer and appears 4 times throughout the timeline. I've asked this
question (worded differently) at kirupa and the post has gone
ignored for some reason - maybe the title is too long or something.
The code tells the button, onRelease, to "gotoAndStop(1)" however,
if you click anywhere on the interface it does that. This is what
would have happened if I had put on the timeline
"this.gotoAndStop(1)." But I did not type that as you can see:

Language properties re ISO codes for ones not in the drop-down

Here's an easy one- When defining the language in Properties/Advanced and the language you want is not available, do you type in the language NAME (Vietnamese, for example) or ISO code (which is, I believe "vie")?

ISO code, according to the W3C Working Group Note PDF16 (http://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG20-TECHS/PDF16.html):
"Acrobat includes 16 preset language selections. If you need to specify a language that is not on the list, such as Russian, you must type the ISO 639 code for the language, not its name."
I'm not sure what version of Acrobat the W3C was using at the time. There are more than 16 languages listed in v. 10, incuding Russian, but I am pretty confident "the ISO 639 code for the language, not its name" still applies.

Validations for G/L accounts and Cost Centers!

Help!!!
I need to create bunch of validations:
Ex. If account is 12345 - then is can be posted to only cost center XXX, YYY, ZZZ, BBB...
If G/L account is 33333 - then it can be posted to cost centers AAA and BBB...
There are different rules for 137 accounts.
Here are the questions:
1. Is it all one validation and 137 steps or are these all different validations?
2. How can i limit one G/L to many cost centers? What is the formula? It doests let me post If account is 12345 then check cost Center XXX OR YYY OR ZZZ OR....
It lets me post "OR" only one time.
Do i need to create a Set for each validation from GS01? or is there any easier formula? - It is not the range of cost centers, they are just random!
Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did exacly that!
I created a SET.
Then i went to validation and said preriqisites - account "XXX"
Check Cost center IN SET
Message - Error
I attached my validation to my company code and put it as Active in OB28
I even ran the program RGUGBR00 to activate all the sets and validations...
Now i test it and it is still posting to any cost center.
What did i miss?

Restrict users by the Cost centers

Hi Guys,
Situation: Users of two types
1. Who need access to Change & Display access to all Cost centers - (PS_FKSTL & KOSTL field values)
2. Who need display access only to one particular Cost center.
There are 10roles which already exist in the system(includes these field values) & they need to be copied & changed.
Requirement: Need to create roles for these Users
I am assuming they have to be limited by Field values. If there is any solution, please guide me.

That is correct, I can't see why it is a problem though. You can use * for where no restriction is required and then apply your more granular restrictions where required.
