T.d.s cerfiticate

Dear sapient
While printing t.d.s certificate in J1INCERT i am getting error msg no data selected for printing. Message no. 8I000. Document belonges to 2009 fiscal year but posted on 2010. so please tell me the solution.

Check J1INMIS. See whether the document shows up as pending and in which stage. Check if you have completed all the stages before you can print the certificate.
Also check if the parameters you entered in J1INCERT is valid for the documents in question.

Were COMODO cerfiticate collection emails SPAMmed?

I tried a few times to use COMODO S/MIME E-Mail certificate on my iCloud mail.
But still now, I have not received any emails which titled as "Your certificate is ready for collection!" and should be from "Certificate Customer Services <[email protected]>".
Were those emails SPAMmed?
The try before the last was about 3 weeks or even earlier before. No email arrived.
Then I revoked that certificate and tried again today at around 3:00PM. No email arrived.

Well, it fixed by myself.
I created a new rule on icloud.com: While mails from '[email protected]' arrived, 'MOVE TO FOLDER' Archive automatically.
As a result, the mail arrived, althrough that was still in Inbox.

Nokia N8-00 Unsent Messages

Dear Friends,
I have a problem with a N8-00 mobile, exactly speaking with the outbox messages (SMS). I have one text message in my outbox folder, which I'm not able to remove/cancel/abort what so ever. When I hold on over it, no menu appears. While clicking, the message does not open.
I was wondering whether there is any way to enter the filesystem (locally or remotely via USB) to the mobile and just remove index file/folder of my text outbox? That pretty annoying the "(1)" in Unsent folder.

I managed to find a way to delete the unsend messages from outbox, whithout deleting the conversations.
You need to download a program named activefile from here. Ther before install-it on the phone, you need to sign it. You can singn the application using this site. To obtain a cerfificate you must create a account here. Creating the cerfiticate takes several hours. (max. 5 hours). After the certificate is created, from your account you can sign the application. (upload-it and the site will do all the triks. Then you can download the application on your pc and install-it on your phone.
After installing, opent the application from Applications. At options, you`ll see message manager. From there, you can select the unwanted message from outbox andt delete-it.
Works 100%.

No GMail in Firefox 7

I cannot get Firefox 7 to open my GMail though it is quick in Chrome. It does show the GMail account at the top but then fails to open and runs out of time.

I found a workaround. Gmail was not the only site with which I had this problem; it had something to do with all https connections (like https://www.gmail.com).
When FF tries to establish a SSL connections, it also tries to verify the validity of the cerfiticate provided by the webserver. Therefor it uses the OCSP protocol (Online Certificate Status Protocol).
I disabled the OCSP check (options -> advanced -> encryption -> validate).
After I disabled it, I could access again the https secured websites (like gmail, ogone, etc) using Firefox.
It's strange that this feature was activated - or malfunctioned - after the upgrade to FF7. In earlier versions of the browser (on the same computer) it was never a problem. I cannot verify anymore if OCSP was enabled in the previous versions.
Anyway, this workaround worked for me, but I'm not happy with it (I think that certificate validation is a good thing; it helps against spoofing).

Maintenance Certificate missed in license type

Hello everyone,
We are in the middle of the upgrade to our BW landscape from 3.5 to 7.01. After I upgraded our BWT system today and ready to apply support packages, as usual I go to apply maintenace certificate according to SAP's instruction on "How to Request a Maintenace Certificate manually through SAP support Portal". I found NO "maintenance certificate" under license type, only have "standard and Java" license type. It is very strange since I just applied "maintenance cerfiticate" on 5/15/2009 when I update support package for my BW sandbox (BWS)! Not sure why it is no longer there? Have you guys experience the same? And how can I get my maintenance certificate for my BWT system so I can move forward with my support package update?

These certificates can be made to automatically distribute across the systems in the landscape.

Maintenance Certificate will be required for all customers as of January '09.
Details:
As of SPAM/SAINT- version 0034 the Maintenance Certificate will be required to import support packages. SPAM/SAINT- version 0034 will be released in January u201909.
All support packages released in 2008 can be applied using a SPAM/SAINT- version prior to version 0034 and therefore do not require a Maintenance Certificate. Hence, when using SPAM/SAINT- version 0034 or higher version, all support packages require a valid Maintenance Certificate in order to be imported.
Java support packages (imported using JSPM) will require a Maintenance Certificate in the near future. Currently a warning is displayed.
Which version of SAP Solution Manager will be required to benefit from automatic deployment of Maintenance Certificates?
SAP Solution Manager 7.0 SP 16 will be required to benefit from automatic deployment.

MIC LSC CTL confusion

Hi team,
I have reviewed lots of posts on this community regarding ITL, CTL, LSC, MIC, PKI. However I still have lots of confusions not cleared.
Q1: we already have MIC by default, why we still need LSC
- Reason #1, more secure ? I do not think so. MIC is signed by private key of Cisco Manufacturing CA, LSC is signed by private key of CAPF cerfiticate. I do not see big difference.
- Reason #2, LSC support encryption of signaling & media. From technology perspective, MIC can also do that. I do not see the difference as well.
Q2: How is LSC generated and downloaded to IP Phone
- Phone submits its MIC to CUCM and CUCM signs it using CAPF private key and pass back to Phones?
Q3: Why we need LSC and MIC coexist on the same Phone?
Q4: How is CTL file/CTL client/USB token related to LSC ? Can we use LSC without them ?

A1: Try this scenario - you are permitting access to your corporate VPN based on certificates. You can either trust the issuer of the MICs (Cisco's CA) or the LSCs (Your CAPF service on CUCM). Which is best?
Your CAPF. That way you are trusting certs that you issued, rather than trusting every certificate on every IP phone in the universe that has a Cisco badge on it. You can command phones to delete the certificates from your CAPF, and control it in other ways. Every Cisco phone has a Cisco MIC, but that defeats the point of having a certificate. That's why many of the guides advocate password based enrollment rather than simple MIC-trusting even if that's what most of us do...
A2: You can either trust the MIC, and issue an LSC based on that (as noted above). You can also set a password on the dev in CUCM, and then you need to enter that password on the phone (more secure). Or you can use a 'null' password, ie. just dish them out freely.
A3: The MIC is built into the phone and is permanent. The LSC is your corporate cert, issued by your system to your devices. It would be the LSC you 'use' generally.
A4:
CTL File : a list of certificates for your servers and services taht is distributed to the phones. The phones will trust only these services. This prevents your phones from being diverted to servers that are not yours (i.e. hacked).
CTL Client : this is just a software app that signs the CTL, puts the cluster in secure mode, distributes certificates around the cluster etc.
USB Token; this (as I understand it) simply contains some private keys that were generated by Cisco. These are used to sign the CTL. They basically ensure that you have a method of recovery - you use two, and as long as you don't lose both you are OK.
Basically you need the token to use the CTL client to generate the CTL file, which is what the phones use to securely identify the cluster.

After maintaining the above then take the tds certificate print out, in print preview, you won't get the certificate no. but once you take the print out, you will get the certificate no.

TLS Certificate Handling in Cluster Mode

I have two Ironport C370 in a cluster. When I setup the inbound/outbound mail settings this is done in cluster mode and only lets me associate one cerfiticate to the configuration. When a session hits the machine that doesn't match the certificate name they get a error unable to validate host name. Is it possible to set this outside of cluster mode then re-enable? We are currently on AsyncOS version 8.0.0 build 671.

Basically you have to go into machine mode for each appliance but ensure you use the same certificate profile name.
