T-mobile Mobile Broadband doesn't even Appear

I purchased a HP ENVY TouchSmart 14-k111nr Sleekbook that came with T-mobile Mobile Broadband for 2 years from the Microsoft Store two months ago.
When I clicked 'Internet Access', there would be a 'Mobile Broadband' option for me to choose and select the T-mobile Mobile Broadband. Unfortunately, that has not been appearing since the last few days. I checked my hardware and it appears that there still is a 'Smart Card' but with no information regardin it. I also checked the HP Support Assistant and HP Utility Center but they had nothing. I have tried removing the card and placing it back again. The computer emits the sound that recognizes new hardware but no installater comes up
Searching forums, I tried downloading the HP Connection Manager, but it failed to install when an error message ' NO WWAN' came up
I also downloaded and reinstalled the latest Mobile Broadband Drivers but nothing happened. In fact, I suspect that it maybe the new updated drivers that caused my T-mobile SIM card to be disabled.
I have tried calling HP support but they cannot help and demand payment for 'advanced tech support' when my Laptop is still under Warranty. I tried calling T-mobile, but they said that it was a problem that I needed to contact HP for. I contacted Microsoft that said I need to get in touch with T-mobile. The second call on HP, they told me to contact T-mobile, One big circle.
TL;DR: I need the installer for my T-mobile SIM Card, mobile broadband. The HP Mobile Broadband drivers don't work.

Well first off you shouldn't have had to pay for a download (just an assumption from the word "purchased".
If you are trying to install iOS 5 on your iPod touch, it won't work they arent compatible. I suggest checking what version of software you are trying to install and posting it in this forum so people can have a better understanding.

That sounds like an idea.I've had trouble with Verizon a lot .I I switch ed back to a non andriod phone cause of the expense it took 3 months and at least that many hours of phone calls &store visits to straight in it out...there's been many times things are blocked and a month later its back on the bill,u call and are told they can't do anything ...not there problem, can't b fixed from there end,I asked to talk to a sup. At was told I couldn't then she said I'd b told the same thing I insisted...I was on hold for about 20 minutes I hung up tried to call back they would not answer, I called my daughter had her call they answered when she told them they tried to blow her off too, so she went down to a store and made a complaint.. I don't have a store in our town,the customer should not have Togo through all that trouble some of this is down right criminal... Networkmanager: mobile broadband doesn't work anymore

I had setup a mobile broadband connection for my Nokia N900, connected via USB, with the NetworkManager (Gmome 3) two or three weeks ago. It worked perfect. Yeserday I tried the internet connection again - after a couple of rolling updates (e.g. actual NetworkManager 0.8.999-1). Now, the internet connection doesn't work anymore.
NetworkManager --no-daemon prints out the following:

Using wvdial with the N900, the internet connection works still fine.

IPod stuck in recovery mode, and doesn't even appear in iTunes, so I can't restore, HELP!

So my iPod appears to be stuck in recovery mode, which shouldn't be a problem, but for some reason is isn't showing up on my computer. I'm not getting the "is not recognizable error" It just literally doesn't even exist to my computer, My iPod doesn't even show up in the devises on my computer, BUT WHEN I PLUG IT IN, IT CHARGES? so I'm just really confused, any input would be great. Thanks!

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

HT1420 I cannot authorize my computer for my ipod. The option doesn't even appear!

I'm using my laptop now since my old computer is broken. But it won't let me authorize my new laptop. I can't access my other music and put it in my ipod, so this is very distressing.. What do I do?
The option to authorize it doesn't even show up though it still says my old broken computer is still authorized. (It's the only authorized computer, btw)

There's a couple of ways to get through to the authorisation controls in the 11.0.x versions.
The control is still in the Store menu, but first (if you're using iTunes versions 11.0.x) you might need to bring up the menu bar to see the Store menu.
If you're using 11.0.x, click on the wee boxy icon up in the top-left corner of your iTunes to see the "Show Menu Bar" control, as per the following screenshot:
Then you'll find the control in the Store menu:
Alternatively, if you don't want to bring up the menu bar, it's still possible to get into the authorise controls via nested menus accessible from the wee boxy icon. Here's a screenshot of where to find them:

IPod Shuffle doesn't even appear in System Profiler

Just got my new iPod Shuffle 2nd gen. I plug the dock in, put in in the dock and it blinks orange 3 times and that's it. I guess its to do with the connection between the dock and shuffle or maybe its something more sinister. Either way I guess I'll get it DOA'd and have a new one sent to me.

Well, that was nearly two weeks ago. They overnighted me the FedEx label to send MY shuffle back to them, but I STILL haven't received my new one, and the Apple support rep I mentioned above won't return my calls. If I want for a Tier 1 person, they look up the case number then tell me that it says my replacement was FedEx'd out to me over a week ago but they don't know to what address or what the tracking number is. Even at FedEx Ground speed, I should have had it a couple of days ago at most.
Not a good experience so far.

Try a Safe Boot by Restarting and holding down the Shift key between the startup tone and the Apple logo w/pinwheel. It will take longer to boot up in Safe mode. If successful, go to System Preferences > Startup Disk > select your OSx disk and restart.

I would be concerned too if there was no audio coming from the speakers on my iPad. I found an article with steps to troubleshoot audio issue. The title of the article says iPhone, but most of the steps are still relevant to the iPad. You can skip any steps that apply only to the iPhone:

When I Add green screen, it doesn't even appear

I have enabled advanced oiptions, I have a downloaded green screen of a helicopter flying, I have video footage of myself in my study. I put the video of me in the timeline, then drag the green screen movie on top, chose green screen. Nothing happens. I get the audio from the green screen movie but no picture on top of the original movie!!!! Please help me. Important for a school project! Thanks!

I've found a work-around that will solve the problem you are having.
The issue:
The iMove software asumes that you are using a homemade green screen background ie: badly lit with movement and uneven green (or blue) colour. When you use a pre-made green screen backgound like the one of the helicopter (me and) you downloaded the sofware cant detect it because it is too good!
The solution:
1) Import the clip into iMovie, then go to the video inspector, then to the clip tab,
2) Select Video Effect, then select the "Vignette" option (it should leave a fuzzy black border around your clip).
3) Export the adjusted clip (choose the quailty you need).
4) Import the "new" clip then apply it as a green screen to your background footage.
5) You may need to tweek the colour in the video inspector for best results.

I bought an iBook G4 (with Airport Card) about 10 months ago. I have dial-up internet with Optus but want to move up to broadband. Specifically "mobile broadband". I want to be able to connect to the internet where ever I am, even on the move (in a train or taxi). Can anyone recommend a mobile broadband server or even tell me if this is possible on the iBook G4. Thank you.

I think you'll find that 'Mobile Broadband' (GPRS in the uk. I think it's the same in the USA) costs a fortune. It's somewhere in the region of 8GBP per MB. I'd suggest that you get broadband access at home and buy a Wireless Router with a DSL modem in it such as the 'Netgear RangeMax WPN824 MIMO-G Wireless Router' You could also get your Cell phone to work with your iBook over bluetooth or a cable connection to use if you require it but i'd desuade you from using it as your sole connection to the internet.

I seem to have lost "list view" for my iTunes library. The option doen't even appear on the view drop down. Any conncection to iCloud?

See this thread for background on why iTunes can end up with duplicates and how they can be systematically removed. The script there is for Windows users and the "show duplicates" menus have moved around in iTunes 11, but the advice on clearing recently made duplicates should still hold.
As given in my older post "Reorganize library" is meant as a one time command to change the structure of a pre-iTunes 9 library into the newer layout that places music in its own subfolder of the media folder. Once used, if the option becomes available again that suggests that a file called .iTunes Preferences.plist in the media folder has been deleted or editied.
