T1000 Boot cannot load driver
Hi,
I have a T1000 that had some patches applied to it using the update manager. Upon rebooting, I get an error saying "pxb_bcm cannot load driver"
and then it says it can't load the root file system.
Any pointers on how to resolve this?
Thanks,
Dave
Boot the machine into single user using a cdrom or jumpstart, mount the root filesystem under /a and then try to remove the patch by using patchrm, aka.
patchrm -R /a 118833-24
.. at least if you have patch 118833-24 installed, if you have a lower version you should try and upgrade it to this version.

Boot: cannot load "bootflash:" in a loop and no rommon prompt
Hello,
i have recently tried to change the catos on a Catalyst 2948G-L3 and since then i have the following message in a loop :

I know that the solution would be to download a new valid image from tftp via the rommon prompt but what i dont undertand is why i cant access the rommon prompt.
Do you have an idea ?Hello Damien,
It might help to post in Home > Netpro > Network Infrastructure > WAN, Routing and Switching . As this section is for small business devices and the 2948 is handled by enterprise support. -
Hi All,
I have installed Postgres db in my local system. I have created new datasource in weblogic server and tried testing the connection, but I am getting the errror
Cannot load driver: org.postgresql.Driver
Can some one help me on this, whether i need to add any JDBC jar file to the lib folder in weblogic.
Thanks in advance
Cheers
Venkatyou have to add the driver jar to the WebLogic classpath. See the startWebLogic script to see how the classpath is created.

any idea.You start by looking in Sun's Hardware Compatibility List (HCL) for Solaris.
[http://www.sun.com/bigadmin/hcl/data/sol/|http://www.sun.com/bigadmin/hcl/data/sol/]
In there, you will see that you have three choices for the 8139x chipset.
You let the NIC be recognized natively during the OS installation (it just works), or you can use Realtek's driver from their web site, or you can use the third-party drivers hosted on Masayuki Murayama's site.
The downloads from Realtek and from the Murayama site include README files with instructions. -

HP Laserjet 4100N - Cannot Load Driver or Print
My Laserjet 4100N is on our LAN. We have never had any problems with it at all.
We installed Snow Leopard yesterday.
We now cannot get any of our Macs to print.
The only "driver" loaded: "ADOBE PDF 9.0-1"
When in the "Print & Fax" control panel, we try to add a printer, the "default" appears, which is "Adobe PDF 9.0-1."
When we try to choose "other" a list of drivers comes up. We select the proper driver, but nothing works.
The printer is configured for DHCP.
We do not understand the "IP" option at all.
The entire print & fax interface presents a cryptic mystery to the user, a la Windows. 10.5 was far better.
We are at a loss as to what to do.Thank you, though this does seem a step backwards for Apple.
I mean, maybe they should have done away with Appletalk, I don't know, but I found nothing anywhere that told me that or that explained what any of the terminology in the "IP" printer setup meant, etc.
Also, my router currently assigns an IP address to the Printer via DHCP, which I've always found convenient. I guess that's all over with. Will Apple publish something that helps us non-techies through the process for each printer on a LAN?
Seems very Microsoft to me. -
SOA WebLogic : Cannot load JDBC driver class
Hi, I'm new to this Oracle SOA World. Currently I'm trying to configure environment on my system. I found a very useful document to install all related SOA component to my system, the document name was 'Quick Start Guide for Oracle® SOA Suite 11gR1 (11.1.1.5.0)'. I did all the steps written in the document and have installed all the components successfully, component including Database, Jdevelper, WebLogic Server, RCU, SOA suite, service bus, all are installed successfully.
But when I'm trying to Configure Application Server (start -> Oracle SOA 11g-Home1), at one step 'Configure JDBC Component Schema' , here I'm getting this message
* The driver class listed below was not found in product installation
vendor: Derby
Driver: org.apache.derby.jdbc.clientdriver
A Test will not be performed on any database connections using this driver
In addition, when i just ignore this message and continue installation, after installation when i run weblogic server then it gives error and gets terminated

try placing the jars that represent ur driver, here
For both Windows and Linux, you must perform the following steps:
Drop the vendor-specific driver JAR files to the user_projects/domains/soainfra/lib directory.
Drop the vendor-specific driver JAR files to the <Weblogic_Home>/server/lib.
Edit the classpath to include the vendor-specific jar file in <Weblogic_HOME>/common/bin/commEnv.sh

This is the error message that I am getting on a Solaris 10 sparc server
scsi: no major number
cannot load drivers for /pci@400.....
Can't load the root filesystem
Type 'go' to resume
{0} ok
Is there a way for me to correct this issue. It looks like I am missing a scsi driver to boot up the server? Is there a way to boot into single user mode, mount the filesystem and rediscover the hardware, etc.....First i guess you have to verify that you can find the disks with a probe-scsi-all
next you can boot it of a CD-rom/dvd into single-user:
boot cdrom -s
.. or similar into single-user from a jumpstart image:
boot net -s
Then you can mount the root disk under something such as:
/mnt
and rebuild the config with:
devfsadm -R /mnt
be careful if you have a mirrored filesystem though, you don't want to update just one of the mirrors without first breaking the mirror..

Kernal Panic: Cannot load OS X from any Internal Drive
On Sunday evening I opened my trusty Macbook Pro 7,1 (13" Mid 2010) and all had locked up. Nothing would respond - just a beachball. I powered off and attempted to start back up again. It went straight to recovery. Disk Utility reports a fault with the Hard Drive's EFI Partition. I cannot load hardware diagnostics - screen shot attached of error
I swapped out the Hard Drive and attempted to reinstall via internet recovery however this would fail at the point of starting the Yosemite installation. (a not very helpful message from memory). The date was set correctly.
If however I mount the drive via USB I can reinstall Yosemite just fine and run OS X perfectly normally from USB. If I take that disk and install it internally OS X wont load and I get the Kernel Panic Below.

I reckon that this will be a hardware error however as for where I cannot say. Anyone able to offer advise?Generally if you can boot the MBP from an external HDD and not boot the MBP with that drive internally, the SATA connection is usually the problem. Replacement of the cable will usually solve the issue.
I suggest that you take the MBP to an Apple store genius bar for a definitive evaluation. The repair is not expensive.

I cannot load Maverick on my iMac HD. It reports that my HD is used for Time Machine backups and will not load to that drive. I do not use this drive for backups. I use an external 1 TB WD My Book for backups as well as Super Duper Backups. Can anyone offer advice. Thanks.
Welcome to Apple Support Communities
You have got the "Backups.backupdb" folder in the root level of your hard drive. This is the folder used by Time Machine to save backups to, and the OS X Mavericks installer thought that your hard drive is being used to store Time Machine backups
To fix this, open a Finder window, select the Go menu (on the menu bar) > Go to Folder, and type:
Then, delete "Backups.backupdb" and empty the Trash. Finally, open the Mavericks installer from the Applications folder and follow the steps -
Java.sql.SQLException: Cannot load JDBC driver class 'null'
Hi,
I am a beginner of using jdbc, i use the tomcat4.1.x, mysql3.23.54 and it's jdbc driver 2.0.14. I place the drive <in jar file> in tomcat/commons/lib and configure the server.xml, web.xml and some testing coding. But there are some error like the following:
java.sql.SQLException: Cannot load JDBC driver class 'null'

of course its some of the error code and there are more.
Why I have this problems and how can I fix it? Can someone help me??
Thanks,
Tong

Java.sql.SQLException: Cannot load JDBC driver
THis topic has been discussed many many times but I still not able to connect to Oracle 8i from my servlet using Tomcat 4.1.12 on hp-ux and java1.3
I always got: java.sql.SQLException: Cannot load JDBC driver class 'null'
In server.xml:
<Context Path="/MyApp" docBase="MyApp" debug="0" reloadable="true" >
<Resource name="jdbc/ora" auth="Container" type="javax.sql.DataSource"/> <ResourceParams name="jdbc/ora" >
<parameter>
<name>username</name>
<value>myname</value>
</parameter>
<parameter> <name>password</name>
<value>mypassword</value>
</parameter>
<parameter> <name>driverClassName</name>
<value>oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver</value>
</parameter>
<parameter>
<name>url</name>
<value>jdbc:oracle:thin:@myhostname:1521:ora</value>
</parameter> </ResourceParams>
</Context>
In MyApp/WEB-INF/web.xml:
<resource-ref>
<res-ref-name>jdbc/ora</res-ref-name>
<res-type>javax.sql.DataSource</res-type>
<res-auth>Container</res-auth>
</resource-ref>
The Oracle jdbc jar file classes12.jar is under common/lib in Tomcat's home. read Permission is there.
In the servlet:
init(ServletConfig config):
Context init = new InitialContext();
Context ctx = (Context) init.lookup("java:comp/env");
dataSource = (DataSource) ctx.lookup("jdbc/acdb");
doPost(..)
the error occured at :
synchronized (dataSource){
con = dataSource.getConnection();}
Thanks in advance!Everything looks correct to me, except for one thing.
In your web.xml you have this:
<res-ref-name>jdbc/ora</res-ref-name> In your server.xml, you have this tag, which matches your web.xml:
<ResourceParams name="jdbc/ora" > But in your Java code, you've got this:
dataSource = (DataSource) ctx.lookup("jdbc/acdb"); When I've successfully set up a Web app data source, all three names had to agree. You either need to change your Java lookup name to "jdbc/ora" or change the web.xml and server.xml to "jdbc/acdb".
See if that does it. Everything else sounds correct to me. - MOD -
Hi Gang,
OK, I have been sick for sixteen years, about as long as the Target hacker has been alive. I will be 67 in a few weeks. My PC tells me it cannot load SuperFetch at boot time. What did I clobber? I saved the message as offered.
Thanks,
Al MarcyHi,
Could you please post the complete event log
here? Was this error message related with superfetch service? The error message here seems to be mostly associated with .Net framework.
Few more questions here, what actions had been taken before the error occurred? Have you checked if any viruses attacked? In addition, please take a try with system file checker.(More infor
for SFC).
Regarding SuperFetch, it caches data to RAM so that it can be immediately available to your application. Sometimes this can affect the performance of certain applications. It tends to not work
well with gaming, but can improve performance with business apps. And this service is dependent on the following system components:
File Information FS MiniFilter
FltMgr
Remote Procedure Call (RPC)
DCOM Server Process Launcher
RPC Endpoint Mapper
More information, please check
superfetch in:
Threats and Countermeasures Guide: System Services
To see if superfetch is disabled or not, please check the steps below:
1. Click the Start orb and type Regedit in the Start Search area.
2. Open the Registry Editor.
3. Click the plus sign next to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
then SYSTEM
then CurrentControlSet
then Control
then Session Manager
then MemoryManagement
then click PrefetchParameters
4. On the right side, double-click on EnableSuperfetch
5. Check the value of it, it is set to
3 by default on win7:
Values:
0 to disable Superfetch
1 to enable prefetching when program is launched
2 to enable boot prefetching
3 to enable prefectching of everything
Hit OK then Close RegEdit. "
Then goto the services MSC ("windows key + r" or just "windows key" and type
services.msc). Scroll down to Superfetch and now should start. Double click it and change to automatic, then attempt to start again.
If we fail to start this service, I suggest we
export following keys from the computer on Which Windows 7 works fine, and then import to your computer to repair this service. On the good win7 PC:
Navigate to :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\services\SysMain
Right click on the
SysMain, choose export, and then move the export file on the problematic PC, double click the file.
Hope this helps,
Best regards
Michael
